My Apple phone connects to my Sonos 5, but there’s no audio. Daughter’s phone does connect and plays audio. 
I’ve done a reset and volume settings appear fine. 
Any thoughts are much appreciated. 
 

A little more information would be helpful, such as:

Are you using Airplay or Spotify connect to connect directly to the speaker?

Are you using a streaming service through the Sonos app?

 


I’m not the most technically minded, so thanks for asking for more detail. 
I use AirPlay, I believe. I use the Apple Music app on my iphone to play directly to the Sonos. I tend not to use the Sonos app. It had been working fine for months and then this issue arose. I don’t recall changing any setting. 
Like I said, any thoughts would be appreciated.

There was an update this week. Did you happen to get the prompt to update?

If not, go into settings and check for updates. Its an app and speaker firmware update.
