After multiple threads (since closed) the app still defaults to the wrong room when it's started.  Yes, I have a den and yes I occasionally play music in it.  But 99 times out of a hundred I listen in the living room.   App starts  up showing den even if music is on in living room.  I've renamed the rooms, deleted and reinstalled the app.  No avail.  I get why the CEO got ousted - he should be.  Hopefully Conrad can return the Sonos app to a user friendly, intuitive and working piece of software.

Rant aside - if somebody has a fix I will humbly use it and apologize.

Android or iOS? I just checked and in my iPhone app the last speaker I used it with (Kitchen) is on top, not the alphabetically first speaker name (Bathroom).

iOS - iPhone 14 Pro  or iPad Air. (Me).  Spouse uses iPhone 16 pro.

Very annoying because we have to bring up all rooms (9  zones) and disconnect the room that's firing up in error.

It just occurred to me that the room that is becoming the incorrect default has its Sonos bar connected to the tv.  I wonder if the tv (Samsung) or cable box (Xfinity) are booting up somehow,  I'll investigate today.
