Sonos forgetting all my speakers...  why 

My Sonos is up to date. It’s a Sonos one. When radio is playing through Alexa it skips in the track

I have 12 ports and while i airplay or use my android phone to airplay to any of the zones the connection will play and then after a few minutes it drops and disappears from my samsung S25 or any ios device. i can restart and only get a minute or two of streaming.i havent tried on the Sonos app but i really want to stream music from my device (Spotify and Tidal)i see many post over the years regarding same issue, has anyone found the solution?TIA

I have just taken my speaker off ethernet to place it in my kitchen. For 2.5 years the speaker was left in its box as the house was getting refurbished. Only used it for a total 5 years. Now discovered the wifi has probably never worked just like the thousands of other units that had defective wifi cards. Sonos have only offered a 30% discount on a new one. No attempt to repair mine even knowing they have a reputation for bad network cards. Telling me it has worked for 8 years is not good enough.Have told Sonos that a couple of honest reviews will help another perspective buyer think again about products that should be recalled when so many have been defective, instead of fobbing off people who have spent so much money for products that have not undergone thorough testing. Moderator Edit: Removed and recorded personally identifiable information.

When I try to connect my play1 to the system, the play1 do not play the sound-pincode. Is there a way to connect the speaker without it?

How do I factory reset Sonos ones?

Hey all. Would welcome any assistance as this has foxed both SONOS and BT support. I’ve a BT Smart Hub 2 as main source of internet A Sonos Boost is connected to the Smart HubThe Smart Hub is connected via ETH to a UNIFI Dream Machine (DM) HubA UNIFI PoE network switch is connected to the DM4 UNIFI POE WIFI discs are connected to the PoE network switchThe NETWORK NAME AND PASSWORD are the same for ‘all’ devices Since the last SONOS APP update (S2) individual speakers and now entire room Groups have dropped off the AppI’ve tried connecting the Boost to the UNIFI DM but no change I’ve also manually reset every speaker in the house, re added them and tried updating the network. Though it appears to add them fine, they don’t then appear in the App!  It’s starting to drive me mad and I know there are some issues with old SONOS tech and how it works with UNIFI.  Thanks in advance!   

I see it’s been asked once before, but am interested…Does anyone know definitively if Trueplay works whether Sonos direct (from Spotify, for example) vs Airplay2 ? My setup: Arc, 2 Era100s (set as surround pair)

I want to connect my Beolab 9 Speakres to the Sonos Port but with the cable I bought it just makes a ton of noise and no proper sound.Do you know where can I buy two cables (one for each speaker) that allow me to connect them? Doesn't matter if it's in Europe or USA.ThanksDiego

I got rid of a speaker (Play 3) but it still appears in the app as a Missing Speaker.  I can't work out how to remove this non-existent speaker from the app.

Am I the only one who complains about the extremely useless wifi settings of Sonos and their constant failure? Playbar has become a real pain in the neck. It has messed up both my wifi settings and my modem's settings and each of the 10 different Sonos devices needs to be set up again. I am really fed up with it. It is not user friendly at all. I wish I could get a Samsung soundbar and solve the cinema problem like this, it would be both cheaper and more user friendly. Moderator Note: Changed the wording of the thread title. I just purchased an Arc Ultra.  I am using Apple TV 4K box on a Bravia 7 tv.  The sound quality and volume is noticeably different when using the Google Tv interface instead of Apple TV.  Any thoughts ?

As you can see in the picture, I have a breakfast bar with a pretty good view.I LOVE sitting here with guests, drinking wine and talking shite.I LOVE my Sonos sound, too, BUT, I cannot get a good sound with a pair of ones at the window end of the breakfast bar. I think they’re just to close and the stereo sound doesn’t propagate well enough, or something. It just sounds pretty poor.The pair of speakers I have are out of sight on the photo and provide great sound, but the sound is coming from behind me and I’d LIKE some sound to come from in front of me. Where the kitchen roll is.I want to set up a system that cannot currently work together, a centre speaker on the BBar and the two existing behind and to the sides.Can this be set up for sound only, and not tv?Common sense says, get a Beam, but honestly, a Beam or Ray isn’t required for this. A single One or Three would do the job and I have a spare one. 

I had my touch controls on Arc Ultra, Era 300 etc. disabled.I am trying to update the Wifi Settings after changing SSID / WPA Password.The Audio PIN Works, but using the Touch Buttons to confirm the device it does not continue.I assume it is because I previously had touch controls disabled.Is this a security feature or a bug?

What does the below mean?I need to run an update according to the app and I can’t get access to the app until the software is updated.“There was a problem checking for updates”

When I connect a Bluetooth device to my arc ultra speaker, after about 5 to 10 seconds it kicks it off and goes back to the arc ultra speaker. I’ve tried many  times, have been not successful a few. It seems random. What do I need to do to keep my Bluetooth device which is a headphone to stay until I exit it myself.

We were five days without power.i tried to turn it on yesterday. Both speaker power up but I had issues getting them to show up on app.one speaker Play1 is now showing consistently.but our main speaker Play 5 : 2nd generation comes and goes and now is not showing on app. But it is playing a radio station. So it is playing.i do not know what to do to get it to connect to the app. my frustrations are super high. Love the speaker, hating the system 

I have a CD player connected via Line in to a brand new era 100. I have several speakers around the house and when I play the CDs Sonos keeps removing speakers from the group and only playing from where the line in is connected. Is this a known thing?

In my opinion, a good center speaker is essential for listening to Dolby Atmos material and, in general, for surround sound. Sonos should add speakers on the front to reinforce those frequencies that are noticeably weak compared to the rear Era 300. Listening to music in Dolby Atmos is a pleasure, but in the Sonos configuration I have (Arc Ultra-Sub3-Era 300 x2) it often still loses out to a good stereo system due to this lack of power and definition in the center speaker. My bedroom wall is against my neighbor’s wall, which means I can’t turn the music up too loud.I would like to be able to set that speaker to never go above a certain limit, regardless of how the “group” volume goes. In other words, say I want it to max at “11.” If I have all the speakers at, say, “3,” the bedroom plays at 3. If I have all the speakers at “10,” the bedroom is at  10. If I crank the group up to “20,” the bedroom stays at 11. The group goes to “30”? It’s a dance party in the living room, but the bedroom remains at 11.Note this is not at all accomplished with the “percentage” feature.
