Hello everyone, I have 2 era 300 with a sonos sub mini for music and I would like to know if I can pair a second Mini sub?Thank you all
Sonos play 1 unable to connect with wifi and unable to factory reset and continuously showing white light and checked with Sonos support they said product failed to connect and out of warranty. You can replace with 30% discount coupon. This is so frustrating as no solution provided to me. seems like never buying Sonos products again in future. atleast they should give some repair alternates etc instead of dumping the product. is there anyone who faced this issue and have any solution?
Hi, I'm looking for an option for my garden. The options would be two Move 2s, or two Era 100s, which I know aren't meant for outdoors.I like the Sonos Outdoor by Sonance, but I'm not willing to pay that much for the amp. What other options do you see as viable for outdoors?
I have Era100 speakers used primarily to listen to radio. When you wake up the speaker it resumes playing the station last set to, however, if the power is disconnected (e.g. a power cut) it loses this connection and one needs to reconnect to the required station via the app. This is not a big deal but is inconvenient. Is there any way to configure the system so that the speaker will automatically reconnect to the source (radio station) last connected to prior to the power being disconnected?
I’ve read through other posts on this, but no solutions are provided. Sonos: Get this fixed! It’s really frustrating to not be able to lower volume down to comfortable background music level.
Can I have 1 Era 300 and a Sub mini paired together?
One of my speaker, a Play:1, is waving a constant white noise when activated. It’s silent when not used but if I launch some music, it plays the music with the white noise on top of it. Is there anything I can do to fix this ? The speaker is a Play:1 used in a pair. The white noise stays when un-paired and whatever service is being played to it. The other Play:1 works fine.
I have been having issues with my One SL Speaker that’s in my bedroom - it keeps changing its name back to “Kitchen”, which then gets confusing as I have already another speaker in the kitchen.I am changing the speaker name in the SONOS app on my phone, and it reverts back to kitchen the next time I use my speakers. I’ve read many posts online about it being related to Apple Home Kit but I do not use Apple Home at all.I have tried removing the device, re-adding it to my system, and I even factory reset the device with no luck.Is this some sort of glitch within Sonos? Can any one provide any information on how to fix it.
Hi there, I’m hoping someone come help me, I have quite a large Sonos system. 31 devices total and I’ve spent the last week hardwiring the system with cat 6 data into a Unifi switch. I’ve tested all my cables and confirm there are no faults. I have used UE300’s for all my era100’s, which make up most of my system. I’m getting SFP blocks on my Unifi switch and am unable disable WiFi on a couple of devices. I have tried turning my WiFi off and watched my devices list on the Unifi app to see if the last few devices would disconnect but they still said they were connected some how. I’ve tried changing the WiFi password to trick them off the network before rebooting the devices and network. I’ve tried multiple times on the app to disable WiFi on the last couple of devices but they continue to say WiFi enabled or the option is blacked out. I have tried deleting my WiFi network off of the Sonos app and it came back once I played music. What do I need to do to create a hardwired system? I’
Does anyone know what these components are and if they’re replaceable? No power. Boo hoo.
Because of the above fault i cannot use the device without it being plugged into the router via a Ethernet cable which is not ideal for us.Sonos has informed me the product is outside a warranty period and have offered a 30% of coupon if i return the product.I think it should be replaced. Any thoughts
My Sonos system has aLiving room setup with a Beam, Mini-Sub and two Sonos OneSL (Gen 2) Kitchen with two Sonos One (Gen2) All running latest firmware All Sonos items connect via WiFi and all on the Main WiFi networkMy Network isAsus RT-AX86U Pro as the Main router which generally serves the Living Room Asus RT-AX86U as an AirMesh node in the Kitchen. All running the latest Asus firmwareAll works well, until I activate a Guest Network (with nothing attached to the Guest Network), then in the Living Room the Sub-Mini and a OneSL will drop off the network. The Beam stays on however and I think the other Living Room OneSL then connects via the Kitchen AirMesh node. The Kitchen system remain OK.To be clear all the Sonos speakers can only connect via the Main WiFi network and have never been on the Guest Network. So just having a active Guest Network is enough to mess up WiFi connectivity to those Sonos speakers normally served by the Main router, except for the Beam. Very odd behaviour and
Whether it’s Amazon music or Spotify for me, occasionally I will get the error code “track not encoded correctly” and then skips to the next one. Is this a my network problem or the streaming service itself. Thanks
What's the best practice to connect the audio of a cable set top box to the ERA100 Pro for TV sound?
My Sonos move is plugged in, connected via Bluetooth to my Spotify app on my phone. When i press any button on my speaker, it responds but there is no sound no matter what i do. Any help will do. Hope is not a hardware issue.
Sonos One microphone button does not respond
Eight months ago ,there was an update for S1 Sonos app .This caused two play 5 gen 1 to have totally distorted sound.I could not use them .During the many months ,I did keep trying them ,but sound still distorted,so again ,I could not use them .The app was on my android phone .Today I tried again ,but no good .By chance I decided to access the app S1 on my apple I pad and it said there is an update.Obviously I retried it and was amazed that I now have no distorted sound on both speakers I wish SONOS would pay attention to this neglected S1 app .There has been so many problems with SONOS ,but I’m a loyal customer and want this company ,to get back ,to where it was ,in the market place
I have a 2x Sonos One stereo paired working with a Beam under my TV.I’d like to dig out my CD collection again and need some form of physical connection between the player & a speaker. Not wanting to break the bank, I’m looking at a refurbished Sonos Five for this connection - my question is can I set the Five up with the 2x Ones acting as a (new) stereo pair just when I want to play CDs? Do I need to set this up as a new room? Thanks all,JB
The Sonos isn't working, but the LED flashes white every 10 seconds. It doesn't seem to fully boot up, and after 10 seconds it reboots. As ukpicasso and Timc995 when injet voltage then power ON After testing, I can measure 14.5v to 13.10volts at the injection points and the same voltage at the green points, with no more power than this board, that is, with the ribbon cable disconnected. When connecting the second board with the ribbon cable, power consumption increases and the voltage drops to 5V - 0V, so the device restarts, entering the cycle I explained at the beginning. With the 24V injection, everything works at 100%.Does anyone know what could be wrong with keeping the voltage stable when the device is consuming power? There are 330V at the blue points.Does anyone have a possible solution, or is someone experiencing the same problem? Thank´s
I have had issues for as long as can remember with music, specifically Spotify, cutting out when switching songs or starting music. The sound would come on one speaker and take around 20 seconds to reach all of my other speakers. Very annoying. Well, I wired a single Sonos One directly to my router and turned the wifi off on that speaker. That solved the entire issue. No music ever cuts out or lags now. I think the key was turning off the WiFi on that speaker because I’ve had speakers wired before but always had that issue. Hope this helps anyone else out there with a similar issue.
5 play ones all show in system, none connect to sonos1 anymore, on any device and 2 phones. Immediately goes to play store for update app. Can not get them to connect to Sonos s1 and can not find s2 help. I have 5 expensive bricks right now. Not happy. Was on phone with Sonos tech about an hour yesterday. They told me a new Sonos 1 app will be out in a few days, the one on my phone was released in July of this year. I just want them connected.
I'm a long time owner of Playbar and two play one speakers. They have been a very good surround system. I finally decided to complete the system with a base sub. Wanting the best hardware I bought the newest version, the sub 4.I set it up with the app and found out it was not compatible with my old hardware. All these products are connected via Wi-Fi and Sonos has decided that they don't want us to use the sub 4 with my old hardware. I'm sure this is a way to get us to buy new hardware where it is not needed. Backward compatibility is a good business model for the uses. They have decided they don't care about that, they want more money. DON'T BUY SONOS.Yes, I contacted tech support, their answer is send the sub 4 back and get the older sub.
Unable to reconnect Sonos. Only if Ethernet cable is used. Otherwise app doesn't find device.
My Sub Gen 2 wont turn on, no lights, nothing. I’d like to replace it but it doesnt seem the Gen 4 is compatible with the rest of my system (Playbar and 2 Play 1s for theatre, Play 3 for living room, and other play 1s around the house)Is there a solution or am I best just getting out of the ecosystem now, as it’ll cost me a whole new theatre setup?
unable finishing Trueplay procedure with 2 Play 5 Gen 2 in a large room
