Error 1067 when trying to add Sonos One to new system

My speaker was connected and working fine a month ago, when I tried to use it again recently it wasn't letting me connect. I tried to go into settings but it was telling me I wasn't the system owner (I am and this is my only email connected to sonos)?

I tried rebooting the speaker completely disconnecting it for 30 seconds etc etc so I could just connect it to a new system- which I did but now it's giving me an error (1067 NOT 1066) saying it can't update my speaker. I haven't found any details on this error or how to even begin to fix it.

Have you tried turning off the speaker at the wall, THEN turning off the router, leave it five mins, THEN turn the router back on and let it fully boot up, and THEN turn the Sonos speaker back on at the wall? Rebooting the router with the Sonos turned on re-establishes the same IP address as before, whereas rebooting without it connected forces a new IP address which might be beneficial in helping get it updated.

MIGHT.

@coyot3

1xxx errors can be solved by installing the Sonos desktop app for Windows or Mac from the Sonos website:

https://support.sonos.com/en-gb/downloads

and click ‘Check for Updates’ in the app menu there.

I tried that already unfortunately. Same error occurred about not being able to update except this time it was error 1101.

I've tried restarting my router and switching the ethernet cable already as well.
