Does the Sonos arc support ethernet over HDMI so I do not have to use a separate Internet cable? I do not want to use the wireless connection.
I Hv sonos home theatre with sub, playbase and two play 1. I am thinking of upgrading my play 1 with two era 100. Will I be able to use my existing floor stands for Play 1 for Era 100 or I will need to buy floor stands for era 100?
Bought a Sonos Play 5, Sound Bar and Sub in 2013. I use them with my LG OLED TV. I use the Sonos S1 Controller to control the system. The problem I am having is trying to set up an ERA 100 on a different E Mail address but same network to the above system I am not having much success. Can anyone help
New sub mini keeps disconnecting from my system. I reconnected it every day and by the next day it is disconnected again.
All of the discussions I have read about Dolby Atmos on the ERA 300 have related to streamed Music. I need to know if it would support Dolby Atmos from movies played via a Mac or Apple TV 4K
Porque los sonos one desaparecen de AirPlay y tengo que cambiarlos de grupo para que aparezcan…. Y solo duran un rato y vuelven aparecer
With the new era100 will I be able to use it with my existing sonos product? I currently have a mixture of old and new products, 1st gen beam, first gen sonos 1, second gen sonos 1 and a Roam . Will I be able to link the era together with my system in the s2 app ?
Streaming from an up to date Android phone to a Sonos 1. Phone is plugged into a charger, and fully charged. After about 60 minutes, the music stops, mid song. Open phone, go to Sonos app, press Play, the playlist starts from the beginning, not where it left off. Music source is MP3 and flac files local to the phone. Playlist is a playlist. To me, that is two problems. How to resolve?
Hello. I have a new Orbi router and one new Era 300. Using iPad Sonos app, and am new to Sonos app and speakers. The era 300 will play back the tones to the app during first few steps of setting up the speaker. Then when it is done, an error message appears saying that the speaker needs to be powered down and to use the System tab to finish the setup. Well, the system tab within the app is ghost fill… meaning the app won’t let me even use the system tab to continue. I’ve reset to factory the Era 300 several times and gone through this process for about two weeks. Just about ready to give up on this app. Ideas would be helpful.
I have a play 1,3 and 5 using a bridge. I have just purchased an Era 100. Can I use the old speakers without a bridge and still use the Era 100?
My Sonos won’t connect to my network
Hi everyone,I need help with linking my Samsung TV (optical output) to my Sonos Five + One SL’s. I thought this would be easy as there is a 3.5mm line-in input into my Sonos Five. I have tried a couple of things. I’ve tried using an optical to 3.5mm cable. I’ve tried a digital to analog converter. Nothing is working. Is this even possible? Thanks,Jack.
Sound Latency issue, I need some help. I am trying to use my Sonos 5 as the center channel of my old & trusty Sherwood 5.1 receiver/amp, the Sonos input is connected to the Sherwood’s center channel line-level out via the 1/8” Sonos jack for input (of course not the headset out jack) appropriately connected and selected in the SONOS app. When playing content via the Sherwood (god I love that thing @ 15 years old using the SPdiF fiber connection) unfortunately even though the Sonos is jacked in to the Sherwood’s center channel via 1/8” audio plug cable, I am getting detectable latency of audio between L&R channels out of my side speakers and the SONOS center channel. It’s barely detectable but is just enough to be off-putting, perhaps .5 second delay between the side speakers and the center SONOS channel. Sounds like the audio is in a big empty room or concert hall with lots of reverb. I have reverted to my old trusty Logitech PC speakers for the center channel, no delay de
Hi, I've some weird behaviour with my pair of sonos era 300s:Most music sounds good (especially after latest update) with my current settings (Bass +5, treble +8). Rock, metal, stereo and dolby atmos either. If I play Rammstein RMX by twocolors, it has too much bass (even if I reduce my Bass settings). The Bass is sort of issue known as car speaker disortion. I haven't done further tests with other bass-based tracks but with track above my ears hurt..
I’ve gotten a new Sonos 300 and I love it. I want to connect my turntable to it, but I’m wondering if it is considered an active or passive speaker. The integrated amp I have is pretty old and barely hanging on, so I’m hopeful if it’s an active speaker I can just bypass the need for it entirely.
How can I connect my Sonos Era 100 to my old hifi to use my old speakers like “extension” speakers, please?
I'm just about to throw this thing off the 29th floor.I've moved apartments, the play 3 was working fine but now, no matter what I do it won't work. The app can see it but when I try to connect it won't join the new network and I end up with a solid amber light on it. It tries to then go back to the temporary sonos network and that's where the app can't see the Play 3 anymore. I tried a factory reset but same thing. Tried connecting to the router but it told me I can't connect while using Ethernet. Has my play 3 carked it?
When Sonos would let us separate our rear speakers so we could use them to listen to music elsewhere and return them with the soundbar without having to Trueplay again and again if we put them in the same place every time.
I bought 2 Era 300’s to replace my One’s in a surround setup that has an Arc and two Subs, and Truplay no longer works. It gets to a point where you normally would be directed to turn the phone around, but instead it says “Trueplay Problem” and gives no details. If I remove the Era 300’s then Trueplay works fine. My S2 app is up to date, my IOS and phone are updated and supported. I updated drivers for my wireless network, unplugged it and reconnected, and all is fine with that. Rebooted my cable modem. I unplugged my Sonos equipment several times. Everything appears to be fine, and the Era 300’s work as expected, except no Trueplay.I have a Beam, 2 Ones and a sub in the other room and Trueplay works fine for them. Anyone have any ideas?
Playing in groups (4 rooms) my speakers connect and disconnect on and off. Not the same.I have changed the channels. But no effect. It is like SONOS is constanct seraching for connection and turns on and of.Very disturbing. Regards Carl
From other forums I have learnt that I am not the only one Here is my post from the others I am new to Sonos and Dolby Atmos music. My Era300 arrived yesterday and I signed up for a 3-month trial of Amazon Music Unlimited which includes Spatial SoundThe problem is finding it via the Sonos App.It appears that you cannot tell if it is an DA album until you start playing it and then a little badge appears.I downloaded the desktop version of AMU and tried searching for Dolby Atmos stuff through there. I notice they have quality badgesHDUltra HDDolby AtmosEven the ones that were listed as Dolby Atmos albums only had the Ultra HD badge and not the DA badge. Now that might be because AMU is too clever and knows that my PC is not set up for DA.So, finally, my question isHow can I locate Dolby Atmos music albums on the Sonos S2 app without having to press play on every album?taps AMU Amazon Music UnlimitedDA Dolby Atmos
Hi All,I am having issues with groupings in my system and it is causing me a lot of frustration haha. I have searched a lot of topics but haven’t really found anything that aligned with my issue. I suspect it is something to do with my router and/or my beam however that is where I am stuck. I will give some context on what I have tried and what works/does not work.System Arc with sub connected to tv close to router Amp driving two in ceiling speakers and amp is placed in cupboard under arc Beam gen 2 connected to TV outside about 18m direct line of sight to router Router - Netcomm NF18ACVSo as it stands and in my ultimate set up, all devices are wireless. I can see them all in my system this is where my issues start. I only just added the beam to the system and that, the arc and amp were working well together without it.What happens under a wireless set up:Arc will group with amp Amp will group with arc Beam will not group with arc Beam will not group with amp I can cast Spotify to
Bonjour, impossible de me connecter en airplay avec itune sur haut parleur player 5 2eme génération
I'm assuming that the line-in port on the Sonos Era will act as an input which can be played over a whole speaker group? If this is the case is the Sonos Port now more or less redundant if you upgrade at least one speaker from each of your speaker groups to an Era device. Can anyone confirm if my assumption is correct?
Hi! My new Sonos Era 100 is on Wifi channel 44 (5GHz) and my older Sonos Five is on WiFi channel 11 (2.4GHz) or Ethernet UTP cable. I do not own any other Sonos speakers. According to Sonos chat support, the speakers being on different wifi channels is the cause of the speakers being randomly ungrouped during playing music or Netflix audio through Bluetooth. Suddenly the audio content will only play on one of the speakers. Very annoying. According to Sonos chat support, I can't put the speakers in the same room to prevent ungrouping, because they are not the same type of speakers. How can I set both speakers on the same wifi channel? (channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4GHz)? Preferably by keeping my current auto select 2.4GHz/5Ghz. I do not enjoy two separate networks. Hopefully you can assist me! Any (creative) solutions are welcome :-) Regards
