I have tried to find a resolution today for my SL one as it keeps dropping out whilst the others are find, playing music delayed and having reverb. Sonos say its interference, though all other sonos equipment works. They have been quite rude and instead of escalating have left me on hold for 90 minutes to then hang up.   

Hi everyone…my first post here,so i might have not seach on this topic as i probobly should😇.Anyway….as headline say it’s bout bookshelf speaker from Ikea. I’m a little confused bout the gen 1 & 2.Outside the volumebutton have relocated. So i’m asking: on gen 1…..are the volumebuttons next to eachother or is that on gen 2. I’m asking cause i see mostly gen 1 with the play/pause between volumbottons are more common to see up for sale on the used market,but seller ad that “the one i sell is a gen 2” and use pic from Ikea’s website with the gen 1 on it. Is there a different when it comes to Airplay on the gen 1 & 2? Thanx

Hi there everyone does anyone know if you can get covers for your sonos speakers 

Why is it when you move the era 100 speakers to get a better sound experience its extremely difficult to get the speakers connected back with the Sonos App?  When i go inside my router I can clearly see my speakers connect back to the wifi. 

Can an S2 product downgraded to run on S1 be reversed at a later date.Thanks.

Hi,I got a PLAY1 from a family member which had always worked good and did when I got it.Fast forward when I brought it home I was trying to factory reset it, but that does not work. The orange light just keeps blinking and it’s doing that for a couple of hours.When I try to configure it without a factory reset, the PLAY1 is visible in the Sonos app and I connect to it’s own WIFI, but when a sound is going to play on the PLAY1 to move forward in the installation, it does not play it. The second configure way of pressing that PLAY-PAUSE button does nothing aswell. I've tried setting it up both with iPhone and Andriod phones.What do you think may be the issue? It would be sad to not be able to use this speaker..Thanks

Hi,i have sonos play:5 gen1 and noticed that bass works just fine but left and right speakers seems to work very low. Even if volume is high, if bass is reduced, they hardly produce any sound. Thoughts?

I have a paired Sonos one setup and the problem is as follows: sound source: a Mac connected via Airplay on the same wifi + Sonos app installed  on the mac (if it matters)Explainer: Sonos plays a video (sound) perfectly. I select a new video, the video starts but Sonos does not play the sound anymore. To solve the problem I have to change output device on the mac to something else, then select the Sonos again and it starts to play perfectly.  This also happens if I switch applications when e.g. a youtube video ends, I use an other app, i revisit youtube in the browser and i have to do the “switch output device” again.  I tried with different browsers already. It has been happening since I have Curious if it happens with others or what is going on. 

My Sonos system is registered with a Play5 Gen1, Play3 and Sub-mini. The upgrade offer page shows a 15% discount available against Play3 but no discount against Play5 Gen1. Play 5 should be eligible for 30% discount. What do I need to do to trigger the discount offer for Play5?

My sonos system cannot find the network.  I went from a wireless network to a cable network due to connectivity issues.  I added the ORBI and my sonos system cannot find the network.  I have read all the help and gone down a rabbit hole of troubleshooting, reset the system, deleted the app and reinstalled it. The app is greyed out on my name, network, and service. Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thank you. 

Does anyone else’s have the same experience that Sonos is a total pain in the ass? It is rare that the system actually works as wifi and apps keep “upgrading” over the years, which really means nothing works anymore. For an expensive speaker system reliant on Wifi which isn’t always reliable, I’ve found I’ve hardly ever been able to actually enjoy my Sonos speaker. Most of my interaction with the brand is waiting in line for customer service because something doesn’t work…. Again. I don’t understand why the ratings are so high when, in my experience, these speakers are a total pain. Which sucks because if they actually worked they’d be awesome but they rarely do. Total bummer.

Hi,I bought 2 one SL and I would like to link them with my play 5 1st gen. I try to upgrade the play 5 and it was not possible. Do you know if it is possible ? I trry to downgrade the One SL and it was not possible. Do you know if it is possible ? Any idea on how to create one system ?  Thanks

I have a pair on Sonos One speakers in my enclosed lanai and a few weeks ago they started turning on by themselves in the middle of the night (midnight, 2am 4am), almost every night, and at 100% volume.  I have checked everything I can’t figure out why they are turning on.  I now have to keep them unplugged when ever not in use.  Aggravating!

I want to unpair my playbar from a Spectrum remote.  My app doesn’t have the remove playbar function.  The guy I talked with at Sonos said this couldn’t be done. And I should just unplug the IRcable.  This doesn’t solve my problem because I want to use my Sony remote on my playbar  any help would be appreciated Thanks george poe

I have a pair of Play 1 speakers - part of a surround system.  All of the speakers in my house are connected  and are showing up on my app but one of my Play 1 speakers no longer has sound?  The pause and volume level buttons work on the system on my iPhone and it looks like it’s playing but no sound from the speaker.  It was working fine recently. I tried power cycling and resetting the Sonos app and also factory resetting. When I factory reset I followed instructions and it cannot complete the audio pin and when I push the buttons it pairs and looks fine but there is no sound. the other play one in the same surround system is still working fine.

 Good afternoon, I thought I was quite good at setting up the system but obviously not and hope you can asssist? I have system set up at home address below with 6 Sonos various speakers etc and all perfect until I purchased a Sonos Roam to be used elsewhere ( in our mobile home with different wifi). Not only can I  not set it up elsewhere but have messed up settings at home and cannot get access to my account or system as they are not highlighting? Would you have an idiots guide for me so I can sort please.

Can I play tv station on iphone on play1

I updated my sonos apps and system as required by you Sonos and since that time I cannot access any of my sonos system from any iOS devices fortunately it is still working from my windows PC so I know it is working. Tomorrow I will try uninstalling and reinstalling my iOS devices with the Sonos app. This is unacceptable you make great hardware and terrible software. If this were the first or second or even third time this has happened, I might overlook it, but this happens all too often. The fix always involves some complicated hoop jumping to get the system back to working order. I have other things to do with my time other than to test your software. I will continue to not recommend your products to friends and family. I so very much want you to be better than you are sonos.  

Hi,I currently have a single Era 300 in my lounge for music. I have bitten the bullet and ordered another plus the stand, using one of my 15% off coupons. When installed as a stereo pair for music with the other, there will be about a 10cm difference in height. Will this matter given I will do Trueplay?Hope not as I don’t really have any other options on placement.

Hi to everyone, I have a play 5 (2nd gen) and this thing just denying to connect to my wifi network and my sonos system. I don't know why just one day just disconnected and after that needed to connect it with the ethernet cable. I moved in to my new home and I can't have it near my router. I don't know what else to do. I need your help.

I’m going to stop after this as brain is getting carried away.Any chance of there being an IKEA collaboration, similar to the Sympfonisk, to create a ceiling light with built in Sonos speakers to work as either dedicated down-firing Atmos speakers or “invisible” music speakers?Context: I’m a “tech-on-show minimalist” and would rather hide/ghost it all as much of it as possible. The Symfonisk lamp speakers are okay and all but better for surrounds or discrete ground level music (not a great fan of the look personally). Upfiring speakers in the Arc and Era 300s are great and all but definitely doesn't have the power/presence/directionality of a dedicated in-ceiling speaker. Given most rooms have a ceiling light via ceiling rose in the centre of the room, I would LOVE Sonos Atmos speakers built discretely into a ceiling light where either music or dedicated Atmos down firing speakers would live. That way, even if you don’t have any other speakers, you get the benefit of music in a
