Compatibility from US to UK

I have a Sonos sound bar, subwoofer and 2 speakers that I purchased in late 2016 in the US. I’ve just moved to the UK and I’m hearing that components ‘should’ be able to be used here in the UK but I want to confirm that before I try plugging them in and connecting them.

How can I determine what models I have, and if they are or are not able to be used here in the UK?

You can use the speakers in the UK. You just need to get new power cables that will work in the UK.

The Sonos sound bar (probably a Playbar) and the Sub (probably a Gen 1 or Gen 2) both use the Sonos Power Cable II.

The two surround speakers (probably Play:1s) use the Sonos Angled Power Cable.

Post photos of each speaker so we can help you determine what models you have. For the Sub, take a photo of the Join button on the side.

The speakers themselves can take the power change without issue, it’s just the plug you need to worry about. You could even get simple plug adapters (without electronics to change voltage) and they would work.
