Hi all. I have just moved some of my Sonos Play1 speakers back to my home from my recreation home. They are on the same router they were before I had moved them initially. At my other home they were running on S1 but I am trying to set them up on S2. Here is what I have tried unsuccessfully:
- Download S2 app under my existing account
- Reset Play 1 per instructions
- Follow all set up instructions
I have tried both with wifi and hard wired to my router. The Play 1 seems to go through all the motions with light turning green etc. but in the end it tells me connection unsuccessful and no more help . It also isn’t registering my Play 1 with my account. It seems to me like an issue of it trying to use my other router but I have even tried hard wiring to my router.
I am wondering if I should set up a separate SONOS account but haven’t tried that.

The router I am using in my new home is an ActionTek, same as in my other home and I previously had my Sonos set up on this router.
