When setting up a product with wifi having connection problems

When trying to install my product, there is no problem when installing with ethernet, but when trying to install with wifi, I see the product after entering the wifi password, I get a failed to connect error.

It says to make sure there is 802.11bg/n type routing, but I have a new modem and I specifically looked and my routing is correct.

Can anyone help me if they have this problem?

Install with Ethernet.

Add the WiFi information, SSID and password.

Disconnect Ethernet and let Sonos try to connect to the WiFi.

If that fails try using a desktop (windows or mac) controller to see if you can see your Sonos. If you can you have some WiFi issue in your setup.

Do you have client privacy/isolation turned on or are you in Guest mode?

Can you see your Sonos in the router’s client list?

Which router, so others can give more detailed advice?

Set it up while connected with ethernet. Once it’s set up, you can go into network settings in the controller, and make sure that the network data is correct, but there’s no need to “set up” the device again. Just make sure there’s no wifi interference where the speaker is sitting.
