Good morningQuite mysteriously, my sonos player:3 refuses to work... it is no longer found or not connected (even though I haven't changed anything to my previous system)! I have tried every manipulation possible and imaginable…I removed the sonos bridge, which I had had for over 10 years and which has endured 3 moves!Nothing works... Do you have a tip?Otherwise, my system had two functions:- Listen to mescd which are all on my pc- Listen to the radioIf I have to change my system, which product (simple and not too expensive!) should I choose?Thank you in advance for your helpJean Marc
I constantly get error 30 when trying to update my ERA 300 - this is the first installation/setup, so I have been unable to use the speaker. Have followed all the SONOS support guidance, even replaced the speaker with vendor, but same issue
I purchased two Era 100s to create a stereo pair and connect to my iMac for computer audio. I purchased the line in adapter. Audio via line in is incredibly quiet. I went to the line in settings and set level to “mac computer”, and that barely helped. I finally set level to 10 (the highest available) but even with my iMac volume set to max, it was a very quiet sound coming from the speakers.I switched to Wi-Fi connection, and the audio was super loud, so I know it’s not an issue with the speakers themselves. How can I increase the audio volume for line in from my iMac?
I have 3 x SONOS Play 1. I’d gone off SONOS for about 18 months and not used it as I found it too glitchy and didn’t like that you couldn’t play many Podcasts through it.I was delighted when I realised it has been integrated with Audible and BBC Sounds so I decided to set it back up again. As I have recently moved I did a factory reset on all the Play 1s so I could do a fresh set up on a new router etc. After what seemed like an age and a real hassle I managed to get it set up on my and my wife’s phone with both our Audible, BBC and Spotify accounts, success……However, when I came to use it the net day I opened the app and got an “unable to connect to Sonos. Let’s fix it” message. After following the instructions, no I haven’t changed my network settings, un-plugging all the SONOS and my router it fails to get back on the system.I’ve re-tried setting it up again both with and without doing a factory reset, it seems like each time I get it set up then re-open the app I get the same messag
I have a new pair ERA100, set up as a stereo pair with a sub-mini, and have the following two problems:-No 1: Playing music in more than one zone, the pair sometimes drop out of the group unexpectedly. They can be added back immediately and without any problem (issues like this in the distant past have been “networky”, and the missing zone had lost its connection to the Sonos network and would not add back without some hassle).Could this be related to a keyboard shortcut that drops a zone from a group? I am not sure, but it seems to happen when I am typing on the keyboard of the Windows computer with the S2 client.I am not in the Sonos software when typing and this cause/effect may be my imagination. No 2: Whether grouped with other zones, or playing on their own the right speaker sometimes goes dead. It is still showing up as a device in the software settings, but unplugging the mains seems to be the only way to make it pair back up. It ha#e only happened with one of the pair.ERA100 ca
I have purchased a Project T1 BT deck and assumed it would connect via Bluetooth to my Sonos Beam and Sub wirelessly. The Bluetooth switch is on but it won’t connect. Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong or if I need a preamp? Thanks, Luke
Hi.I could not find any place this questions where asked, and i might have not been looking hard enough🙃. Anyhow….i got my hands on two used Play1 from different sellers. On arrival i notice that one was in exellent condition, but the otherone you could tell it have been used. A few scratches on top an over all i can tell by the colour it was a bit faded.I set them ut as stereo-pair and try adding them to the Apple Tv….no luck. I learn the hard way that this is some old speakers. Long story short,i have a single ERA 100 witch i connect to Apple Tv over Airplay, and then group the Play1 and turn off the volume on the 100.But when i start listening to the Play1’s i discover that the mor used one sounds different than the prestine one. So i’m interested to hear if anyone have experience bout anyone had to replace their elements(mid or tweeter)….cause of soundquality or if they blew.I can hear clearly that this Play1 is not blown but i can hear things in music that aint as crisp all the way
Sharing a recent experience with Sonos Support and lost confidence after a history of purchasing multiple products. The support issue we experienced relates to a known design weakness posted by many users across multiple channels, which is a power supply failure. In the fall, we experienced a power outage and after power to the house was restored we noticed three of our Sonos products would not turn on. Two (Playbar and Beam in separate rooms) were plugged into surge protectors and one (Play:3) directly into the wall. Three other products showed no issue. All are out of warranty but the Beam only just out. When I spoke with Support their best offer is to return to Sonos in exchange for a 30% discount code. So now we are asked to spend even more money to replace the products with a history of power supply quality issues across their portfolio.Does this sound reasonable?Thankfully, the Playbar was purchased from Costco, who took it back with a full refund. The others were purchased from
Thinking of a T1 turntable with the Play 5.How are they connected? Can it be grouped with my other Sonos speakers? Thanks
Hey guys,I am looking to buy either 2X Sonos Fives or 2X Sonos ERA 100 but I found out an adapter is needed to connect to a TV with the ERA 100Does the adapter affect quality ? Adapter is sold 25€ on Sonos website but it’s like 6€ on Amazon, do you recommend buying the official ? Also, Is it possible to connect the TV through bluetooth for both speakers ?Also, what do you recommend between these 2 ? The price difference is pretty huge (660€)I’m listening mainly electronic music (heavy bass) so I will add a 3rd gen sub for sure
My AT&T router renamed itself after a power outage. I have two Play1 speakers that only work now if connected via ethernet cable. Stringing cables defeats the point of having a wireless system. I have to use my phone app to try to connect, but the app can’t find the speakers any more. I have tried all of the recommended troubleshooting. After hours of trying still nothing works. I spent an hour with support, but they weren’t much help. After restarting my router several times and doing factory resets it was clear that they were going in circles. They had no suggestions. The system selection on the app is grayed out, so no help there. These speakers sound ok when they work, but it’s always a pain to get them to work. Are they just too old? Are the Play1s no longer supported?.
My era 300s are in surround mode with my beam gen 2. Does prevent me connecting with Bluetooth? I've followed all the online help files re connecting Bluetooth. Neither speaker has a blue light come on when the button is pressed. I'm connected to Wi-Fi securely. Hopefully there is an answer out there.
Hello, since Apple TV upgraded its architecture (software update) AirPlay no longer connects to Sonos. This is exactly the same issue as this post. Now though the Sonos speakers no longer appear in the dropdown on any device. All was working fine before home hub updated itself. No reply from Apple about the issue although I’m reporting again… TIA
Considering a pair of Era 100s with a sub mini for stereo in my living room. Just wondering who has done this and their opinions. Does the sub mini help much? Would the Sub be a better fit? I like my bass but definitely prefer tight to overly punchy and especially muddy. I am going to try out an old pair of Play 1s I have to get a general feel for what to expect so mainly wondering about the impact of Sub vs Sub mini.Thanks.

I have a stereo pair of Play:5 . Also other Sonos equipment in the house. They are all connected on Wifi. When playing music on the stereo pair of the Play:5, music drops out. I have a turntable with both RCA, BT and USB connectivity. Can I plug the USB turntable to the USB port in the 300? Also can I use the BT to pair with the 300? What is better?
I have a new router and password and since then cannot connect to my Sonos system. I have followed all the steps carefully but it still does not connect. Also in total I bought different Sonos speakers as I live in two places. I have bought 4 Play: 1 devices of which 3 are here. It only shows me 2 and none of them have the serial number of the ones I bought for here. At least one should, but none do. what could the problem be?
Why is my Sonia five speakers not registering
Have my turntable playing on the Era 100 through the line-in. However, I cannot get it to play on my other Sonos One speakers in the house. On the app, it shows I can group the rooms together and it looks like they should all be playing the same music from the turntable. But no sound on the other speakers. I went to one of my other Sonos One speakers, held the play button so it would start playing whatever music was already on (which works all the time when I’m streaming music). But all it did was force the Era 100 to stop playing my turntable and start playing streaming music. Surely you’re supposed to be able to stream music from a line-in source to other Sonos speakers in your house, right?
