Are there any speakers stands for Sonos five that aren’t ugly like the Sami’s, Flexson and Mountson ones?
hi - had setup in new house with Archer VR1600v, smaller area / single storey, line of sight for S5 and S1, tv bar ‘around corner’ (~5 m away!)all products up to date.intermittent audio playback dropouts on radio or Spotify, and often mobile app ‘cannot connect’ when updating volume or pause / play. no microwave or other bluetooth/wifi products ‘running[‘ diagnosis 1870521460 hoping someone at sonos can confirm issues being experienced?
I just completed moving two Sonos Ones to a new network and just need to formally log that it was a total pain. I had to go through multiple prompts over and over only to be told cannot connect, try again. After an hour of turning them off and on, plugging Ethernet in adding the new network forgetting the old network etc they finally show up on the app. This was such an annoying process considering I was using a $20 Bluetooth speaker while all this was going down… @Sonos, this is a recurring complaint…please fix it….couldn’t imagine how difficult this would have been if I wasn’t a remotely technical person…0 out of 5 stars
Hi! I have a speaker at work logged into work email and uses bosses accounts. Now I have one at home and I can’t log out of the other email and use mine. It tells me to use the work email. I want to be able to log into my personal account and use my personal streaming services and record player at home. Any advice on what I’m doing wrong?
The app no longer finds my playbase and I’m therefore unable to complete a reset which means the playbase is now non-functional. I’ve followed the instructions on the app and reset my router with no effect. The playbase is connected to the TV via a fibre optic cable and the TV is hard wired to the router. Any ideas?
I love my Sonos setup (Arc, One SLs and Sub gen3) for my home cinema. Recently, I started listening to music again. Most of my playlists are from the 90s and early 2000s. I soon realized that my Sonos 5.1.2 setup isn’t right for music, something wasn’t there which wasn’t giving me that nostalgic feeling. I missed my 1000W Sony Hifi system. I did some experimenting to understand what’s wrong with my Sonos setup and I came to a conclusion that music to me sounds best in Stereo Mode and Sonos setup lacks that stereo separation and clarity. So, whenever I listen to music I do the following: I go in my Sonos app>system>surround sound and turn the music playback to “full” and set the music level to max (+15). This puts my Sonos One SLs in a Stereo pair like mode. I also turn off the sub so that the woofer of One SL become active and I get a stereo bass. It works great for music listening when I want to sit and listen to relaxing tracks. The issue is that a pair of One SL seem under po
After some advice: having the kitchen/dinning room extended and want to put in 4 sonace ceiling speakers. Only usury is half of the ceiling in flat the other half is pitched (approx 20degrees).so where’s the best place to install them as two will end up on the flat ceiling two the pitched. I’ve attached rough plan of the layout: black is the boundary, blue the kitchen and the yellow line is the the split between the flat and sloped roof. I’ve tried to work out what’s the best positions but there’s a lot of conflicting advice. FYI this will be for music only
Hi ThereMy Sonos keeps cutting in and out
This is an ongoing issue Sonos support ticket number ********. Two rooms, one with an Arc, base and surrounds, and another room with Beam, base and surrounds. The Arc and Beam are wired directly to the router. When playing music (Apple Music, Sonos app, Pandora, local files, etc.) the Arc stops playing, then the Beam, then the player shows it’s not playing.I’ve restarted, rebooted, changed wifi channels, wired as many wifi sources or turne them off as possible.Since the last incident of the music stopping - when switching the router to channel 11 - the system worked fine for 8 days (I thought this was solved as it was the longest issue-free run in since this started happening in early January 2024) - no! today, the music stopped same symptoms as before.I’m out of options to try that I know about.Ran diagnostics within a minute or two of the music stopping - 1663922707.Any suggestions on what else to check and/or try to resolve this issue? thanks,Fred Moderator Edit: Removed Case number
Hi SONOS Community,Having been an avid SONOS fan and user for over a decade now I thought I better join the community! My latest additions are a pair of SONOS Era 100’s with a SUB mini. I’m extremely impressed with the SUB mini in particular, I think we have all been waiting a long time for this to become a product.Era 100’s also fantastic, but I have been experiencing sub par SONOS expected performance.I’m intrigued with how they pair because I almost always experience an initial delay with the second paired speaker joining the party (not using bluetooth) . This can be anything from 30 seconds to 2 minutes, the SUB is also prone to the same delay. The speakers are 1.5 meters apart. Now I also have 2 SONOS ONEs paired and I believe these are bonded using wifi and they perform as one, immediately and every time. This leads me to believe the Era’s are bonding over bluetooth. If I am right, IMO, this is a step backwards to the solid connectivity I’ve come to expect from SONOS.Is anyone else

I recently changed my router and now my era 100 and move speakers keep being dropped from the everything group. If the group is applied I get playback from all devices. But after stopping playback the era 100 and move disconnect after a while. This is a problem because I use these two to start and stop playback but pushing play does nothing when they are disconnected. The other speakers, two amps, one port, two fives plus sub work and always stay grouped. I notice in settings that both the era 100 and move list under the Products section the name of the wi-fi network and report it as Excellent connection. However, none of the speakers that work have this report. They apppear to be in two software generations. I have tried turning off and on all speakers and rebooting the router. Any idea how to stop the era 100 and move being dropped. They did not do this with the old router. The old router was wi-if 5 and the new is 6e.
I’m struggling to get an apparently simple setup at home. I have 2 sonos era 300 in two separate rooms and had the candid idea to have them registered under the same account. The only complexity my network has is a simple wifi repeater upstairs. The repeater replicates the network through LAN. The result is quite frustrating, as the app is only able to recognize 1 system at a time and momentarily forgets the existence of the other one. Switching from one to the other is virtually impossible. Sometimes reconnecting the smartphone to the network works after multiple attempts. If the Sonos app is in a particularly nasty mood, it will decide to pick exactly the opposite device and stick with it no matter what. Spotify seems able to differentiate devices and control them… to a certain degree, as last updates form Sonos seem to have limited this possibility.I’m quite surprised this is not plug & play as this is basic smart home stuff. Tried to fix it for some time when I was hooked by th
For owners of the Era 300s in a stereo pair configuration; Is it expected behavior that for each speaker the left and right tweeters are disabled/barely audible? I certainly heard more from the side channels in single-speaker configuration. Are these side tweeters turned off in a stereo-pair configuration by design? This is the case with Apple Music, both stereo and Dolby Atmos tracks. The woofers, and top and front tweeters all fire nicely, but no side tweeters.I hope someone can shed some light on this! Thank you

Hi Sonos users,I am in deep with multiple Sonos products all over the house. Currently I can no longer use my:Play: 1 x 3 One x 2 Boost BeamThey all have the same error message for DAYS now:“Your [device] will reconnect to your Sonos system when the update is complete”You can imagine my frustration. Can anyone in the community please tell me how to speed up/cancel/reset this clearly broken updating process? Thanks so much,-Sad guy with no music any more
Hi, I already have a Sonos Beam Gen 2 and two Era 100 speakers. I'm thinking about buying a Sonos Sub Gen 3. The requirements say that you need at least one non-portable product with a built-in amplifier, e.g. Arc or Era 300. Can you tell me whether Will the Sub Gen 3 perform 100% of its capabilities without any problems with this configuration? Is Arc or Era 300 necessary for it?
Hi i have just purchased a denon pma 600ne and need a new set of speakers to match with it. I'm also thinking of getting a sonos era 300 and i was wondering whether i can use the eras to listen to the cd and turntable hooked to my denon amp. Can anyone enlighten me whether it's possible and how to do that if it is?
I have multiple sonos speakers throughout my house. I have one speaker, a Play:1, that oddly has been giving me fits lately. About 75% of the time, in the SONOS app, the speaker doesn’t show up anymore. HOWEVER, the speaker Does show up when I access my speakers via the spotify app. More so, I am able to play music on this speaker when I access it via spotify. Unplugging and plugging back in does temporarily fix the issue, however, the speaker is really high on a shelf so requires a ladder to do so. Additionally, after a day or two, it pops back “offline” again. There are also times when the speaker may have been offline yesterday, but now today, it is showing back up. Its really weird. We have many of the exact same model Play:1 speakers throughout the house, and this is the only one giving troubles…..and oddly enough is the speaker we want to use the most.
Hi, After a factory reset, I have successfully installed a Sonos Play:1 in wireless mode using the Sonos app 2 (I had initially tried with the Sonos app1 and it said my Sonos speaker version wasn’t supported). When I tried to install the second (also after factory reset), I couldn’t do it. I had to connect it to the Ethernet cable, and even though I was successful at connecting it to the network, I could not then get it registered. I looked into the settings details and the first speaker shows as WN1 and the second one shows as WN0. I have tried going into « manage my networks » to switch my second speaker to a wireless network but it won’t even let me click on the tab because apparently this version of the app doesn’t support my Sonos product. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
The “S” has fallen off my Move 2, so it just says “SONO” and a little glue mark, can you get replacement letters form anywhere?
Looking for some help please. I have two One speakers in my restaurant as stereo. They work via my iPad on AirPlay. What’s happened for a few days now is that the volume on all apps (Apple Music app, Spotify and sonos) is automatically adjusting itself back to about 10% on the volume bar. Regardless of where you put the volume it snaps back to about 10%. It’s infuriating and despite being around 10% you can’t hear anything. I’ve seen some articles about overheating but they’re not hot. I’ve also seen articles about software updates but the speakers seem up to date (the Sonos app doesn’t offer updates) and my iOS is up to date. I will also mention volume settings such as ones that won’t let it go above a certain level are turned off. if anybody has a remedy for this I would be thrilled. Thanks Moderator edit: changed “Bluetooth” to “AirPlay” for clarity
I currently utilize a Google Wifi mesh network with three hardwired nodes strategically placed throughout my house. Working remotely with my wife, the Wi-Fi coverage in our home has been consistently reliable without any previous internet-related issues.Recently, I acquired a set of Sonos Era 100 speakers and configured them in Stereo mode within my living room. However, I've encountered poor Airplay quality. The music streaming keeps cutting off and sometimes just one of the speakers works.I'm reaching out because I have confidence in Sonos products, and I'm curious if there might be a compatibility issue between Google Wifi and Sonos Airplay for music streaming.Prior to seeking assistance here, I exhaustively explored potential issues with my Wi-Fi network, including placing both speakers in close proximity to the Wi-Fi access point. I can confirm that the Wi-Fi connection throughout the house is impeccable, boasting a robust signal strength. Additionally, I use an iPhone 15 with the
