Hi, I have a Sonos Play:5 (Gen2) in the kitchen which I have connected to LAN. Then I have a Soundbar, a sub and two One in the living room as a surround system.As I understand, it should be possible to get other Sonos units to connect to a wired Sonos unit, but this seems not to be working with my system. I have tried to switch everything off, even the router, but the livingroom system wont connect to the wired unit.Any advice from anyone?Thank you. Moderator edit: changed “Sonos 5” to “Sonos Play:5 (Gen2)” for clarity.

Everything working fine, went out for a walk, came back & the iOS app has lost three of the four speakers (it “sees” the Play 5, but has “lost” an Era 300 and two independent Ones).The Mac app works just fine - sees and independently controls each speaker still, but phone refuses to find “new product”. Phone restarted, app deleted and re-installed - same phone only finds the Play 5.No ethernet connections - all wi-fi. All one one network, one router, no mesh. No issues for months, then this….Any ideas / help please?

Hi, I have a Play 5 Gen 2, I can connect with a network cable but not on WiFi, I’ve tried a reset of the unit and the WiFi network to no avail.I’ve ran a diagnostic, support number is: 144006030 

As per title -  Play:1 speakers increase volume suddenly without any human input.Can be on spotify or radio.net and suddenly volume increases significantly and remains at the higher level until human intervention.Only seems to occur once a day - am I missing something?

I have many sonos speakers. On my Sonos Ones…sometimes the light on one is brighter than the other. Has anyone experienced this? Is it a warning of system and/or network issues? thanks for reading

I’m running into an issue playing music from Spotify both through the Spotify app as well as the Sonos app.  I have 2 rooms, each with 2 Sonos One Ls and 1 Sub mini.  I combine those together to be “Bathroom + Bedroom”.  I will start playing a song from Spotify through Sonos, select both rooms together and when I hit play I get a split second of the song on all speakers and subs, and then it goes down to just one.  It will eventually come out on all of them but can take upwards of 30-45 seconds.  And if I skip a song, the whole process starts over.It is not possible for me to run ethernet to any of the speakers at their locations, so I bought a boost and put it just one room away.  This exhibited the same behavior (all speakers were showing as WM: 0).  So I unplugged it and just went back to wireless.Today I tried using both Sonos Radio and YouTube Music.  Neither of these services exhibit the same behavior.  They are extremely fast and responsive to starting, pausing, and skipping mus

Hi Everyone,  I have a substantial set of older Play 3, Play 5 and Sub hardward, and use the older Sonos S1 App.  I used to use the bridge to connect, but have a strong wifi network (250mb download speed) throughout our home, so have configured the speakers to communicate via this home network.  I get intermittent interruptions to listening through the speakers, any ideas?   Have confirmed all of my software is up to date.Absolutely love Sonos and wish I could afford the new speakers!

I’ve noticed a couple of times in my lounge where the One speakers have beeped and said something like “I don’t understand that” when I’ve not even said hey Sonos and not even spoken - although it may have picked something up from the television, I’ve never known anyone say Hey Sonos on anything I’ve ever watched!Now this morning I was unpacking shopping in the kitchen and said to myself “8th of May” whilst reading a use by date and the One speakers beeped as if responding to a request and started playing Planet Rock Radio which was the last thing that had been played on there a week or so ago.Is anyone else experiencing these issues? 

Hi Community, I had my SLs linked to a Playbar,I bought an Arc,so I removed the playbar from the app/system.Now I can’t see the Sls so I can use them as surround speakers.Any clues?Thanks

Having difficulty getting my Sonos Five to complete Trueplay! I have basically unplugged everything in area: refrigerator, computers,   Still will not run to completion!help!

I've changed my router and now my sonos isn't connected As soon athe gen 2 app is opened the account and system are un highlighted and I cannot open them.I ve tried a reboot but no joy 

After mistakenly leaving tunein on overnight our sonos one stopped listening to us.   We will use the prompt “Hey Google, play ____X_____” and the response from our speaker is “Okay, playing ___X____ on tunein or “playing ___X___ on spotify”.   Then, nothing, crickets, no sound.This happened to our kitchen speaker but now our bedroom speaker will not work either.   Same thing.  I can use spotify from my iphone but no voice control.    Things I have tried thus far:Reset the kitchen speakerDeleted google assistant app on my iphone and re-installed itDisconnected google assistant on sonos app and reconnected it Anyone have ideas that might work?   Thank you.  

HiI use my two ERA 100 as a stereo pair with my MacBook. When one ERA is connected to the MacBook in bluetooth mode, the ERA 100 connected with bluetooth is much louder than the other. I’ve changed the sound balance in the IOS App but it’s not very accurate. Is there any solution to this issue ?

Couple of times now, we start hearing music from our songs arc. TV is not on, if I open the sonos app I see something is playing.  I read that there could be a Spotify issue but we don’t have that setup. I see others have had the same issue. But no solutions yet.

I have a Sonos system at home. I mainly play music via my Spotify account. I’m going on vacation and staying in a villa that has a Sonos system throughout the property. Is there a way to use that system and have access to my Sonos account’s Spotify playlists? FWIW, all the tunes on my playlists are also downloaded on my phone. Can I just add my Spotify account to their Sonos system, then delete the account when our vacation is over?

I have the S2 App on my android (Samsung S22) and once its all set up 4 rooms with 13 speakers in 4 rooms, then mysteriously it looses 3 of the rooms,Room 1 - Beam and 2 x Play 1s;Room 2 - 2 x Play 3s and two Play 1s;Room 3 - 2 Play 3s and two play 1s; and Room 4 two Play 1s;It looses everything but Room 1.  It doesn't seem to be anything specific, sometimes I can reboot my phone and they all come back other times not.  I do have a Sonos Boost, but not sure if Its part of the problem or just something else to consider. Help please, can we get the S2 App updated?  is there something easy I can do?  Most days I have to reset each speaker and setup the rooms again!  Ridiculous.

Is it possible to listen to the Era 100 or 300 through headphones? If so, how? Bluetooth?

French solution / Solution in English bellow :Hello,après 3 semaines d’arrachage de cheveux, j'ai enfin trouvé la solution à mes problèmes d’appairage aléatoire connexion / déconnexion de mes 2 ERA 300.J’espère que mon expérience pourra en aider certains d’entre vous.Config : Routeur TP-LINK modèle Archer AX50.Symptômes :Après 3 semaines où j’ai essayé diverses configurations, la connexion wifi à l’appli Sonos était vraiment trop aléatoire ou instable.Un coup j'arrivais à faire une paire stéréo / un coup une enceinte était connecté, mais pas l’autre / un coup l’une était visible dans l’app mais pas l’autre à moins d’en débrancher une, etc... Bref un enfer.Solution explication :Alors sur les routeurs TP-link (en tout cas tous ceux de la gamme archer) il y a une option qui s’appelle AP Isolation sur vos bandes wifis 2,4 ghz et 5 ghz qui permet d’isoler vos appareils wifi entre eux (ce qui les empêchent donc de communiquer entre eux...).Cette case était donc cochée chez moi, ce qui empêch

My system is experiencing speaker dropout increasingly often. A year or two ago it happened once in a blue moon. It was so bad the other day that I did a diagnostic while it was occurring: 2031394178. I know it is preferable to call in to support, but the last time I was on hold too long and gave up.I play my system in party mode with all speakers grouped in general, and increasingly, I am experiencing extremely frustrating speaker dropouts. I’ll be in a room and the music has been playing fine and then the speaker in the room and adjacent rooms stop playing while I can still hear it in other rooms in the house. Minutes will pass and then one speaker comes back on, then another, and they’re all back...for a while and then the cycle repeats soon or eventually.I have 12 speakers and 3 are wired. I haven’t measured but I would guess that no speaker is more than 25 feet (horizontally or vertically) from the next; I would think that would make for a solid mesh network. I do have a mix of mu

Can I add airplay 2 capability by pairing sonos play3 (already stereo paired) with mini sub?  I can use play3 with the S2 app but play3 isn’t airplay compatible.  Now considering getting a mini sub instead of a sonos beam to for my mini theatre with apple tv?  Using play3 as satellite speaks for beam seems to be overkill for a small living room and powerful bass matters more for me as I use it for music more than movie.  Thanks.

Had a H/W failure on Playbase. Tech support replaced with Beam 2. Got that working, but now my “older” Play1s and Sub are not found in +Add Product. Restarted the Beam a couple of times and recycled the power on the Sub, but the “Searching for nearby product” keeps going, and going. Any help is greatly appreciated.
