Hi, two questions.Do I have to buy the amplifier to run outdoor speakers, or will they connect to my Sonos app via WIFI like my other speakers? Can I control their volume separately to my other SONOS speakers? Ie I might want outside speakers to be louder or quieter than the inside speakers based on ambient noise and time of day….

Same speakers are also sold as a set with an amp.

Those are traditional passive speakers that must be wired to an amplifier.
