I have a play 5 which I occasionally would like to use in the garden with a line in from my phone. This means unplugging it so that it forgets that it is connected to the line in. As there is no WiFi in the garden it is then impossible to instruct it to accept line in again.
Does anyone know a workaround for this?

Set Autoplay for the line-in. Then any time you connect a device to that source it plays automatically.
Settings/System/roomname and scroll down to the Autoplay slider.

that option was greyed out. Had to plug a line in first but seems to have worked. Just need to try it without an internet connection
