I recently upgraded and bought various speakers including ERA 300s, ERA 100s, ARC, Sub Woofer and an existing One.I thought I would set up one of the ERA 300s first and which I got working then I had problems with my router which is a Huawei Model H112-370, this is a 5G router which I use as my phone line based internet is very slow. Due to the problems with the 5G Router I swapped it for another 5G router which was sent to me my 5G internet provider 3 mobile. The new router is a Huawei MC801A 5G router. I also set up a new Sonos account to keep completely separate from my Sonos Gen 1 equipment. I got it all working then it failed so after speaking with Sonos Support, I decided to start from the beginning. After a few support calls I am getting fed up as I have not been able use my Sonos equipment for over a week as I cannot get it set up. It seems that the app carries out the whole process and it falls at the final hurdle of linking to my Sonos account. I have read similar
i have 3 symfonisk speakers in my house and none will sync to app. the s1 app will not find them and the older app cant find my music library. is there a way to just start from scratch? like i just purchased all 3 speakers and are setting up new??
I watch tv through my Apple TV and sound through Sonos Playbar. Getting an echo sound from the Playbar in all modes (AppleTV, YouTubeTV, and other streaming services). Never had this issue before and nothing has changed in my settings. I’ve tried many things and even called Sonos Support as well as Apple. No resolution.
I have a Dell monitor for my home office, with no in-built speakers, for which I recently added a Chromecast 4k with Google TV. Is it possible to cast the audio generated by Google TV, or apps such as You Tube or Netflix, to my Sonos One SL’s? Is there any other means of achieving this audio connectivity via Google Home or Google Assistant on my Android phone?
I have a new pair of era 100 speakers. Using Android & Sonos 2, how do i tune these speakers ?
I’ve got a One SL speaker that keeps removing itself from my system. This happens a lot! So every week I’m having to reconnect the speaker from the start, by setting it all back up in the app. I’ve got a Beam with 2 One SLs as surround sound and those don’t have this problem, likewise the Move and Roam I have are also fine. It’s just this single One SL that is in another room that has the problem. Has anyone else experienced this and had it fixed?
If I stereo pair sonos one gen2 with sonos one sl, can you use the voice assistant, since the gen2 includes the microphone? regardsStefano
No puedo emparejar dos sonos five en modo stereo
Hi all.Hopefully someone who has been through this can help. BT router needed to be replaced so have a new SSID/password.Since then neither of the play 3s nor the playbar have worked wirelessly via the Sonos App.I managed to get 1 play3 working when hardwired but could not then get the other speakers connected. As soon as the cable was removed, it stopped working. The playbar works when connect to TV via optical, but no wireless streaming.I’ve been through the set up process multiple times, factory reset all speakers, followed the steps in the app etc. but I’ve got nowhere.I’m not unfamiliar to the world of tech but this has got me borderline raging. Can anyone help me? Where am I going wrong with all of this.I feel like the best thing would be for the system to be completely removed from my account, for the speakers to be factory reset and for it all to be done fresh. Is this possible?Ta
I recently added an Era 100 and an Era 300 to my system. It seems every day I need to reset them in order to see them on the app again. I have a port and 2 beams with no problems. Everything is on the 2.5GHz band other than the Era 300. It’s is on the 5G. Could this be a problem?
Hello, recently I have ran into some connectivity issues with my system. After some trouble shooting I decided to go for a full reinstall, but after factory resetting everything I was unable to reinstall everything. I have an Ikea symfonisk lamp and bookshelf (both 1st gen) and use iOS on all devices. During the setup I get redirected to the iOS accessory setup screen to setup the speaker but when I try to connect to the network I get “an unexpected error”. I have reset near every other program (wifi, app, etc) and it keeps giving the same error. I have also tried setting up the speakers on my mobile hotspot but still gives the same error…Does anyone know what else I can try to install my speakers to the system?
My volume limit is at 70%. When I use the slider to take it back up to 100% it immediately goes back to 70%.App (ios) and speakers are up to date.
I’m planning to get a sound system for my 65” Samsung S90C TV. Torn between an AVR setup with Elac DBR62, Denon X2800H, P10-150-GEM Subwoofer from BK Electronics, and a Sonos Beam 2/Sub mini/Era 100s set. My room is cubic 2.5x2.5m and 9 feet high. I did some research and found that the Denon X2800H has an integrated room correction feature so it can still sound good in my room. I listen mostly to DJ Sets on YouTube and EDM, Psytrance, Techno, so bass is important to me (without compromising on clarity). I’d also be using the speakers with my phone and TV. Can’t have rears due to the layout of my room. If I went with Sonos, I’d like to use the beam 2 and sub mini for movies, and era 100s with sub mini for music. Is there an easy way to switch between the two?I’d like some help deciding between the two sound systems. I’m also not an audiophile, but looking for the sound system that would deliver the best experience for the music I listen to.Thanks for reading.
HiI have a system that has Arc, sub and era 300 as surrounds 4 sonos 5’s a roam a playbar and a Boost the system uses sonosnet apart from the roam. Now my old Play 1’s were in a cupboard not been used and I have just built an outside cabin that I want to put them in and now for some reason they are connecting to WIFi and not sonosnet. I have factory reset them and they still will not use sonos net like the rest of my speakers. My wifi is not the best thats why I use sonos net
Dear Sonos,I am bitterly disappointed that you've taken away my ability to play music stored on my phone directly to my Sonos Play 1 and Sonos SL One wireless speakers. The only reason I bought Sonos wireless speakers over any other speaker was to have that ability and now it’s no more. Sonos has decided to put relationships with 3rd party streaming apps like Spotify and Apple Music over an individuals’ ability to play music stored on their phone. I don’t want a streaming music subscription., I don’t want any 3rd party apps. I just want to stream my music which I’ve stored on my phone for decades. Besides, the music I love does not exist on these 3rd party streaming apps. There is no reason why Sonos cannot accommodate both preferences - play music stored on one’s phone and the streaming brigade. These two things are not mutually exclusive. Why sacrifice one for the other. I have decided thar I will return all my Sonos speakers for a refund, including the Play 1 speaker I bought in 20
I bought the Sonos Arc and Sub from Costco yesterday.Everything works fine except the AirPlay. My network equipment is Unifi UDM pro + AP. I tried both wired and wireless (2.4G), restarting both the iPhone and Sonos Arc a few times, and tried iPad. iPhone with iOS 16, iPhone with iOS 17 and MacBook. None of them works. I don't have Apple TV to test AirPlay 2, but I can AirPlay from my phone to my MacBook. Whenever I tried to AirPlay to the Sonos, I immediately got the "unable to connect family room" error. How can I fix it? Thanks in advance!
Hi everybody,I’m actually testing a Sonos Five speaker with my Wi-Fi company infrastructure (Cisco). Our SSID is configured with a static WPA3 psk key and it seems that this kind of encryption is not accepted during the pairing of the speaker between the Phone (Sonos app) and the speaker. The phone is unable to connect the speaker (the devices are on the same WLAN).If I change the security to WPA2 it works correctly.I’ve got also a Sonos One speaker that works perfectly with the same WLAN using WPA3.Do you have any issues with Sonos Five and WPA3? Thanks
My Sonos Era 100 wall brackets cannot hold the speaker in place. If you turn the speaker to the side, it falls down as the bracket cannot hold it in place. Is there any solution to the problem?
Hi Sonos,I'm going on holiday in America soon and was planning to buy the era 100's there, so I can use them in the Netherlands. Because of the major price difference, its very tempting to buy them in America. Can I use the era 100's without any problems in the Netherlands? Or is there something I need to take in consideration? Kind regards, Nathan
HelloI can’t progress past the orange & white flashing light stage of a factory reset of my Play:1. When I attempt to add the speaker, although the set up procedure finds the Play:1 lets me add it to the temporary Sonos network, I get no ‘audio pin chime’ from anywhere, so I can’t progress. Any advice?Kind regards
My sonos app constantly tells me that it is "Unable to connect to sonos. Let's fix it". This only hapoens with my Era 100, not the my Beam. The app then it sends me on a 5+ minute long wizard in which always ends with me having to reset my router before i can use sonos on my phone. Then in about 24 hours, or if I unplug the sonos to move to a different room, i have to do the entire thing over again for me to use it on my phone.I just reset my router about 5 hours before this post and it was working. Now my sonos app now says it cannot connect. How do I prevent this? What is breaking my connection?
In reviewing the input to the ERA 300, it uses a USB-c connection then guides you to use their line-in adaptor or combo adapter. Problem is, the eARC out on my TV is HDMI. Am I supposed to try to find a super high speed HDMI cable with USB-c on other end? IMHO using all of the adaptors is asking for issues and compromises the potential quality of the signal. How is someone supposed to connect the ERA 300 to the eARC out on a newer HDTV? I believe wired connections are superior and much more consistent than wireless/bluetooth. Any assistance is appreciated,
I was gifted a Roam and I wanted to add it to my Sonos system. It is incompatible with S1 - and most of my speakers are the same. In the process of trying to split the system, I disconnected a Play:5 from my system. I tried to reconnect it using the various instructions online. No joy! The reason is that when I go to my S1 Controller on my iPhone and +Add Product, it simply refers me to an Update requirement for my system - to S2. I simply cannot add a product to my existing S1 system.
So I’m connected to my Sonos Move via bluetooth to my Macbook Pro (16-inch 2021 M1) on macOS Ventura 13.3.1(a). Playing music from either iTunes/Apple Music, VLC, Spotify. I hit pause to watch something on YouTube, but all audio is now muted. I then continue playing music, and by muting the music I can finally watch the YouTube-video. I’ve tested on another bluetooth speaker (Logitech Megaboom 3), and this issue does not occur there. So it seems like this is a bluetooth issue with Sonos.I’m gonna test if I get the same behaviour on my Windows-computer as well. Anyone else have this problem? I’ve seen this mentioned around the internet, but then related to other bluetooth audio products.
Hallo, mir hat jemand gebrauchte Play 5 angeboten. Wie kann ich am besten die Funktion prüfen und das es nicht irgendwelche Nachbauten sind. Google Translate:Hello,Someone offered me a used Play 5. What's the best way to check that it's working and that it's not just a replica?
