My sonos roam suddenly started emitting a machine gun/ jackhammer sound whilst it had been playing for several hours.

i managed to reboot it but this is rather disconcerting.

 

i submitted a diagnostic report. I hope someone from support can check this out and diagnose the issue.

In addition to posting the mentioned issue here in the Sonos user community, you maybe better off speaking with Sonos Support Staff direct about the matter, presumably after the holiday period now. Here is a link to contact them:

If it does reoccur, or can be easily reproduced, it may be helpful to perhaps video the issue too, so that the Staff can see/hear the issue you’re experiencing, that’s aswell as your diagnostic report submission.
