Hi I've  got a sonos 1 . I have tried repeatedly to update it and it keeps showing error code 30. I've removed the sonos 2 app from my phone  and  factory reset the sonos 1 and still get the same error. Any help would be appreciated  before  I just walk away, it just shouldn't be this difficult.   Thanks

Error 30 means it simply can’t get an update.

Is there anything else I can try.   I've re installed the S2 app , I've  reset the sonos to factory settings, I've use an Ethernet cable  ,the Internet is working.  I don't know what else to try

If you try to visit https://update.sonos.com/ from a browser do you see the word “Update”?

Yes

You’ve set up the One afresh. Presumably your Sonos app is correctly signed into your account?

I would next try a restart of your network, in case there’s a local IP address conflict lurking. If even that doesn’t help you’d better just try again in a day or two. There could be an issue at the Sonos end.

Thanks I'll turn off everything that's connected to the network  and reset the router and just turn on sonos and then retry the updates

Thanks for your help
