Hi, I recently bought a ERA 300 and I am having issues to add it to the existing system using the S2 app on my iphone. Which button should I press to connect to the S2’

I’m trying to connect a used play 3.  I reset the speaker several times, the Sonos 2 app only recognized it after I connected it with an Ethernet cable.  The app sees it now but only gets to the prompt “press the mute button on the speaker you wish to connect”. I press the button and after it times out I get the message saying the button was not pressed.  

Thinking of buying a Sonos era 100. Sonos show only the line in adaptor to connect a 3.5 mm jack to the USB input for Sonos era 100. Can I use a standard USB c to USB c cable to connect a Google pixel 7a phone for audio?

Bonjour après un changement du système wifi il est impossible d’avoir les 2 paires d’enceintes ensembles. Je trouve ou les play 5 ou les play 3 mais pas les 4 ensembles. Hi Guys, I need your help.I have two sonos Era 300 as surround setup with my arc and sub 3.now I know the front speakers on era 300 are disabled (big shame on sonos not to give us option to choose if we want them to hear or adjust) now even when I remove them from surround and play atmos music on apple music via Sonos or any music I cannot still hear the front speakers at all. Are they working at all? It is very unlikely that both brand new Era 300 are broken. Is there any way how to test the front speakers on his own please? Any links? I have tried everything youtube videos, atmos music, flac music, mp3 and still cannot hear them at all music comes from behind. Now like I said this is happening even when they are not part of surround and setup as stereo speakers. It will be really helpful if Sonos give us possibility to control the front speaker and others as well to test them to make sure that all works properly. Thank you for all for your big help and any suggestions how I can test

Hellohaving some issues with Sonos and Spotify today. Sometimes can’t see the system at all. Sometimes the Sonos app can’t connect to a local player, then it can and we can start music from Spotify but it later cuts out. It’s driving my daughter mad.  Play3 x2. Play1 in stereo pair Diagnostic 910843077

Hi, I have a Sonos Connect:Amp connected to a pair of Sonos SP100 speakers, and I’d like to upgrade to a newer Sonos product, mainly for Airplay compatibility and general flexibility of use, and hopefully better sound quality of course. I use my sound system in the living room, which is roughly 20’x16’ (6mx5xm). I listen mostly to classical music; we also like to be able to use the sound system when watching films etc. Ideally I’m looking for a good overall sound from any point in the room, rather than one sweetspot… My hesitation is between these 3:Sonos Amp (connected to my old SP100 speakers) Sonos Five Sonos Era 300 Any recommendations? I have a PLAYBAR, SUB, and a pair of PLAY 3s.   I am unable to select those speakers from my phone, if I want to stream a podcast, for example (they work just fine otherwise).   I was told by SONOS that it is because they are older, and do not have Bluetooth, but if I ADDED a simple SONOS Bluetooth speaker to the system, that I at that point would be able to select the entire system to play, from a phone source like a Podcast. Does that seem correct, and would a ROAM speaker qualify for that?  It is Bluetooth capable. Thanks

I recently renamed my home router and now my speakers are not working. 

Could anyone tell me if you can stream Apple Music Dolby Atmos tracks through the Sonos app to a pair of Era 300s (stereo pair) when they are connected to the internet via the Sonos dongle and an ethernet connection?I have read that this is only possible when the Era 300 are connected via WiFi, which seemed odd to me, but I can’t find any documentation on this.

Diag 1352991762 I used to have no issues with my Sonos speakers but lately my stereo/sub sets just simply will not work properly. I've had to disconnect and re-pair the sets several times and that doesn't consistently work or even last when it does work. My Kitchen room in my system was having issues showing up at all today so I restarted my WiFi controller and they came back on. All 3 units (P1, P1, and Sub) show excellent signal in the app but music was playing on only the left speaker. At the moment of this diag (just a little while later after resetting the WiFi) the Sub shows as updating and I'm still only getting music on the left. I have automatic updates enabled and my Wi-Fi is a full multi-AP Ubiquiti system that has been serving the house for a while without issues.

The fuse in my Play 1 blows everytime I switch on. Any idea about cause?

Hello,I have 2 White Play 5 speakers with black grills. Is there anyway to swap out the black grills for white grills? If not do the grills easily come off so I can paint them white?  Appreciate any feedback!

How can I change the name of my Sonos one speaker, it was just living room but now my streaming is going to the Google nest, I am trying to set my Sonos one up to receive music from you tube, thank you.

Why is Truplay still not supported on iPhones with ios17? It has been weeks now, and I am now actually on iOS 17.0.3……Sonos makes a big thing  about this feature yet they appear to not be in any rush to sort this!

I am unable to setup Alexa, or Sonos voice control for that matter, but Alexa is the main issue. Each time it goes from ‘Sign in to Amazon’ to ‘There was a problem adding Alexa’. It’s on my network, as I can play music. I did a factory reset, but no luck. This is very frustrating for a new product and new Sonos user. Thanks in advance!

Hi,I have a Stereo Pair of Sonos Fives and wanted to know if i used them as line in would they drastically sound better than using Air Play 2?I have a DAC which is a FiiO K7, so i was going to run this from my Mac or IPhone to line in to the 5’s. Do the 5’s have an internal DAC and will this be a problem using my K7?Also, I’m wondering if i can’t be bothered to hook up my devices, could still use Airplay? This will be mainly for my partner who doesn’t care about sound quality. I dont want her going anywhere near my DAC while it is connected to my 5’s = Volume blown 

I’ve used SONOS products for 6+ years and never had an issue.   I purchased an ARC last year and couldn’t get the product to register through the app.  I’ve called customer service a couple times, last time spending more than an hour doing the same activities (reboot, factory reboot/reset, router reboot, hardware into network).  I can not get this device to register, which means I can’t control sound from the app (which is one of the handy features).  I’m curious if I have a defective device but I’m trying to find the receipt from Best buy (think it was after last Christmas).  We are running an Eero router/wifi (aaris router) but unsure if that’s the issue.   I’m open to suggestions but we’ve tried everything….

I have two Sonos Play 3 units both in perfectly beautiful shape, barely used. I have called Sonos support about 5 to 7 times over the past few months. They told me that Sonos 3 is no longer supported and they will send me a 30% coupon.  No one has ever reached out again with a response or a product mail back label. The speakers are expensive, include many non recyclable parts and a lot of non recyclable plastic. These two large speakers no longer work because Sonos decided to make them obsolete with new software and created no fix to keep them working with new systems. Really?  It will be 2024 soon… is this how Sonos as a company acts in alignment with its values?  I don’t have much discretionary income… single mom, 4 kids in college. I splurged on these systems 3 years ago because all my boys are music lovers.  I keep calling to get them to work… but they never will again.  The newer version similar to Play 3 is the Sonos 5, is 749$. Every time I reboot my router ( for example due to an upgraded firmware ) my sonos one loudspeaker is losing its radio station and I have to use the app to set the speaker again to the station.Isn’t the speaker able to keep its preferences ?I use a lan connection to my soundbar and the sonos wifi networkApart from this my setup works really good. 

I have my dad’s old records and record player, I would like to get a nice speaker to enjoy all of this vintage gear, however, I don’t have any speakers to play it on. I currently have an Arc and it would be nice to add a Five or some Eras for surround sound movie listening in addition to record listening. My question is if the line-in to the Sonos speakers digitizes the input or if it will remain analog as long as it’s not streamed to the Arc and surrounding speakers?

I have an Eero network and existing Sonos system that has worked beautifully. I purchased new Era 100’s and tried to connect them as I’ve done in the past. Everything goes smoothly until I have to select my network and enter the password. Sonos is detecting my network name properly but adds a bunch of letters slashes and numbers after it and won’t allow me to connect stating my wifi password is incorrect. My existing Sonos products are connected to the correct wifi. Help!

HiNew to the Sonos ecosystem. I’ve been gradually building my range with era 100s and recently with a era300 with a sub. The speakers are scattered all around the house for the holistic music experience.We’re currently in the process of repurposing as room into a pseudo-Study/Games Room. The plan is to setup a TV with a soundbar, rear surrounds (era 100 or 300s) and a sub - to be acquired.The aim is to have the flexibility of playing music through the era 100/300s in stereo with sub normally and while watching Tv have the soundbar and the era’s as surround speakers with sub.I can't seem to find any information on whether this flexibility is possible. Any feedback/recommendation on the above would much appreciated.Thanks 

I have used an iPod connected to Sonos 5, years ago.  The playlist was exported from iTunes and filed under iTunes/music folder.  Is this how era100 line-in works as well?
