Losing connections to all sonos products . Becoming a regular occurrence over the last 3 weeks . Seems to be every other morning when i realise the sonos radio alarm has not gone off . Got boost + 3 other sonos speakers . App cannot find any of them . Only fix seems to be to power off all equipment / rooter/ boost and at least on sonos speakers . Note no other wifi using equipment has an issue . Its becoming very frustrating and no longer trust the sonos as an alarm . It seems to be the connection between boost and the speakers that drop .
Hello, I would like to use a Sonos speaker to control my home automation with home assistant, without using Google home or Alexa. But being able to use these but not for my home automation, only for information, weather...I was directed by the Bard AI to the Sonos One 2nd generation, but it is no longer sold. Can you direct me to a reference that can:- control my Home-Assistant home automation- Be compatible with Google home and AlexaThanks for your help.
The Sonos one plays static over everything I try to play through it. The actual music is very dull and the static is as loud as I would think the music should be. Is this a fixable thing?
Sonos is still terrible. It is inconsistent, unreliable and extremely frustrating. It works for weeks and then doesn’t work at all. It requires multiple iterations of turning off routers and speakers and attempting to find reboot magic, which never happens. I’m finally kicking them out and going with Amazon suite of wireless speakers. After years of frustration, I can’t wait to get the new speakers and throw Sonos speakers away. Don’t get it! Not because the cost, which is too high, but because of the frustration factor! Most frustrating product I’ve EVER owned. Advice for anyone considering Sonos, don’t do that to yourself! Move on, go wireless with anything else. #sonossucks
On Sonos products does turning off the wifi turn off the wifi card? Trying to see if Sonos Arc and Sub gen 3 give off radiation and EMF’s when wifi is disabled. thanks
Weird new problem with an existing Sonos setup that has popped up this week after my ISP had a big outage this week. I have an Orbi RBRE960 Mesh network with 3 satellites. I have 4 Sonos One speakers, a Playbar and an Amp scattered around the house and connected across the diffferent satellites. Previously, the controller app on iPhone or my laptop could see them all wherever I was in the house. Since a couple of days ago (post the ISP outage - may be coincidence, maybe not!) the controller app on iPhone or laptop only sees the speakers connected to the same satellite. Its definitely a Sonos thing as i can sit on the same laptop that cant see the speakers via the controller app and run a “ping” command to any of the speakers in the house and that command connects to them fine. I also have a printer hanging off one satellite and can print to that from anywhere in the house. Also, If I move around the house with my phone and the Sonos app, as the phone connects to a different satellite
I was gifted an Arc and Sub Gen and now want to add speakers. I’m more interested in music than TV though having both is really nice. I also am a bit old school and love the rich quality sound from tube amplifies and turntables of my past. That said we are in a new era and I just want a really nice sound system.I am testing both the Era 100s and Era 300s and having trouble deciding which are better. The 100s give really clear crisp treble and left and right channel sound, though it feels like something is missing when comparing to the 300s. The 300s are broader and fuller but the sound takes a deeper and not quite as rich tone….almost sounding muffled? Am I missing something in the configuration? In a previous post someone recommended connecting the 300s to the Sub Gen without the Arc? OR, how do I get better richer sound out of the 100s with the Arc and Sub Gen?the room is a rectangle - probably 25 x 13. 8’ ceiling with skylights and one side wall is glass with a patio door. Ap
Hi guys, recenlty I unplugged my SYMFONISK speaker while I was sorting out my room. I then turned it back on and it wasn't connecting to Spotify. Then it stopped connecting to Sonos. I rebooted it and even had to factory reset it as per instructions. I reset my router and my phone even rest the app, and my speaker didn't work. I managed to get it to connect to my account however it still doesn't work as it needs registering but I can't register as it it's already in my account and therefore I can't actually use my speaker. What do I do?
I have a Gen 1 play 5 that I pretty much only play from Spotify and have been having an issue with it intermittently going quiet. About every 5-10 minutes, it will go silent for like 5 seconds. The music continuous playing on other speakers in the group. Its only this one speaker that has the issue. This has been happening for quiet a while and happens on totally new wifi networks as well so I dont think its an issue with the network. Has anyone ever experienced this? Audio cutting out every time used, sometimes for minutes at a time
First time poster...in many years at least...and I have searched the forums and realize there is a lot of information here and probably the perfect post for me is there somewhere but have been unable to find it. I have been a SONOS user for more than 10 years and have 10 speakers in my home. Now obviously not all speakers are on at once all the time but the times when I do connect them all there are connectivity issues. This is an obvious network problem and there are very technical responses and details in these forums that well beyond by networking capabilities that would probably work but I am curious if there is a simple solution that should work in my case. I am just asking before I go out and purchase something that may not work (if its not the right solution). Here are some deets on my situation:Internet provider - Starlink (usually pretty good speed - I don’t think this is the problem) Network set up: Starlink wifi router network for non smart home devices, guests etc Google w
Hi all!Got the original sonos one wall mount. The product looks very good, but when I tried to pivot it (before mounting on a dry wall) it wont budge. Could it be that stiff? Anyone have it?Neven
Admittedly I am new to the Sonos community. We just built a new house and I had a Sonos Arc installed along with amp and four overhead in-house speakers. Recently I was given a new Roam and the device connected but did not show in my system settings. When I called Sonos they told me that Spectrum had a known issue with the router and suggested that I do a wired connection which I cannot do to the homes layout. My question is can I change the router out and get my Roam to work and not affect the other speakers in the house? If so what router should I get?
Recently ive been getting dropped audio during movies, spotify, xm radio, tunein. Prob others but thats all ive been listening to. Today i decided to start logging them. Turns out every 15 mins exactly for about 6 seconds each. 4:234:384:535:085:23 ... etcCpl weeks ago i shutoff the entire house to restart them all. Still happening. Anyone else having this or know what it is / how to fix it?
Can you use the speaker without Bluetooth?
I have a 65” newer model lg 4k (65Nano75uqa) and about 4 Sonos one gen 2 speakers. I was wondering if I would be able to connect them directly to the tv, or if I need to purchase a soundbar. If I need a soundbar, what’s the best route to go to have movies and tv playing to my Sonos one speakers set up around my living room?
I have a play base, sub and 2 x play 1 in my living room. They were all working together as the surround system until I recently got a new internet hub. I factory reset everything and added them individually to my system. The play base & play 1’s work as individuals. When I added the sub to the play base they worked together, when I then added the surrounds it all went wrong. The sub still shows as attached to the play base but zero output from the sub.The play 1’s show as the surrounds attached to the base & sub but zero output from them. When I tried to compete the true sound it worked for the play base when on its own but repeatedly fails with the play 1’s & sub attached as complete system.I have an Ethernet cable attached to the play base only as not possible to link the others that way. All help & guidance welcomed.
I’m still having issues where the system loses the network and I have to unplug all my speakers and search for the system. I’m looking at this router: WiFi Router 1200Mbps, WAVLINK Smart Router Dual Band 5Ghz+2.4Ghz. Will this be a good option?? Tired of the constant disconnects with the Spectrum router!
Brand new to Sonos. I have the arc sub and two ones as rears. Music starts playing randomly. Once waking us up at 4am. 2124883762 Here is the diagnostics code
Hi, I bought at the same time a SONOS 3 and a SONOS 5 speaker. Both are well registered on my SONOS account. I need to change my Sonos 5 Gen 1 which is not compatible with the new SONOS system and I want to use he 30% discount upgrade program. For a bug reason that cannot be explained by SONOS for weeks, the offer is available on my account for the SONOS 3 and not for my SONOS 5. The Sales representative does not give any help to solve the problem. I am considering contacting a lawer to sue SONOS on the principle since I bought this speaker, ii is well registered and I am entitled to benefit from this offer. I am incredibly surprised how SONOS treats its customers who want to be faithful to SONOS and buy a new product and I will protect my rights and those of the customers whatever it costs me.
Bonjour 👋 et bonne année à tous et à toutes Paraîtrait qu’il y aurait un nouveau sub de prévu pour cette année ?! avez vous des nouvelles à ce sujet et peut être sur d autres projets ? portez vous bien 👍
Hello. I am new to Sonos universe so forgive the probably stupid question. I have 2 new Era 100s that are stereo paired in my living room and Bluetooth connected to my turntable. I want to add an additional speaker so I can listen to what’s playing on the Era 100s anywhere else my house or outside, so I am thinking of getting the Sonos Move 2. Since they all connect to one another over wifi, this is possible, right? I’m assuming yes, but I would like to know for sure before I buy it. Thanks very much!
Ok - bear with me. I have an existing setup of Sonos products - Beam, OneSL, One’s and an old Play:1. Everything is fine.I have bought two ERA100’s to pair with the beam. When I attempt to set them up, I get the above message from the sonos app - “We couldn’t find any Sono products on your mobile device’s network so we can’t set up your Era 100. Please try again”.So far I have:Factory reset both Era 100’s Powered them off for hours, and back on again Powered off and on again the router, and all of the Unifi APs. Moved all Sonos producst to Wifi (I had one wired previously). Made a number of Multicast specific settings on the Router/AP configuration. Nothing seems to help. Every so often the message from the app is subtly different, in that it names my SSID, but it’s not consistent. Weirdly, at one point, one of the Eras did do configuration - I could see it on the Router connected over 5G and it had an IP address, etc. I could see internet traffic from the Era100. However it never app
Hello, I am looking in to purchase an Era 300 for my office and using it for music as well as a computer speaker for my desk (M2 MacBook Pro). My question is, will I be able to receive Dolby Atmos sound via the 3.5mm headphone jack on the era 300 (with the adapter) or is it limited to streaming and surround pairs thanks!
I LOVED MY SONOS PRODUCTS, BUT NOW WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING SONOS AGAIN!!! I have two original Play 5 speakers. I used the app to play them as a Stereo pair. They sounded phenomenal! Then I bought a Beam sound bar for my TV. I used the app to setup surround sound using all three units and it was absolutely wonderful! Then the app updated to Sonos 2 app. Now my Play 5 speakers are not compatible and they no longer work as a surround sound system I paid a lot of money for, they don't even work for stereo pair anymore.
