I am planning to set up Sonos Sub + Sonos Amp + HiFi bookshelves. Is there a possibility of purchasing a Graphic Equalizer and via Amp EQing the system's sound? Most importantly frequency range of 1k-9k, mainly treble. If I can EQ the Sub that's great but my main goal is EQing the speakers. Thanks. 

So I have been using the free version of Spotify with Sonos for some time, and decided to go for Spotify premium. Before I upgraded I tested that Spotify app as a free user, and was happy with the ability to control/cast to Sonos directly from the app. But after upgrading to premium it started failing. Has anyone experienced something similar? Controlling Sonos from Spotify:Shortly after upgrade to a family plan I was no longer able to successfully cast to Sonos, my devices will show up, but there is either just silence (while the app shows it is playing), or simply a failure to connect. After a connection failure the Sonos speaker will (strangely enough) start playing whatever was the last music/service it played. Weird. Sonos devices (Play 1 and Move) will however reliably show up in the connect list. This behaviour is consistent from both Android app (tested from two devices) and from the PC app. I have removed the Spotify service and reinstalled in the Sonos app several times. Bonjour, Je possède un Amp qui me permet d’écouter des vinyls et à l’étage j’avais ma barre Arc qui fonctionnait séparément sur ma TV.Suite à un déménagement j’ai voulu rassembler les 2 en synchronisant les enceintes de l’Amp en surround sur la barre de son Arc.Depuis, l’onglet “Entrée source locale” à disparue, du coup le seul moyen d’écouter mes vinyls m’oblige à dé-synchroniser les enceintes. Connaissez-vous une alternatif qui pourrait éviter cette manœuvre  ?  Cordialement 

I currently have a projector with an Amazon Firestick and a BluRay player plugged into its two hdmi inputs. Stereo audio out from the projector goes to a stereo Bluetooth speaker (JBL Extreme) via a cable.I've just moved house and now have a dedicated cinema room. I want to use a Sonos Arc to give me a Dolby Atmos capability but need to be able to stream videos (from a 4K Amazon Firestick), play BluRay videos and also play Xbox games. The Arc only has a single HDMI input so what's the solution? 

Can you add a bluetooth device like a turntable and use the Roam to play on your system?

I just bought the Samsung Q90A tv and turned on the eARC feature for my Sonos Arc. Everything has been set to Auto as far as audio detection goes, but I notice that the native apps on the TV like HBO and Netflix and Spotify do not play in Atmos Am I doing something wrong? for reference I used HBO on my Xbox One X and it played in Atmos   

I’m looking for advice on which Sonos product I could use with ViewSonic X10-4K - a wireless connection doesn’t seem to work, so I believe I’d rely on cable connection? I’d appreciate any help, thank you.

Hi All,For about a year I’ve had two Sonos systems set up in the house on two Wi-FI networks.  I’ve did this by setting up a separate guest network on the router with separate SSID and password.The reason being that I have two kids who have their own Spotify accounts and I could not get it to work with voice control without two networks.Up until last week, whenever I’ve switched wireless networks on my phone I can simply connect to the relevant speaker which I do from time to time to set sleep timers or find a song they can’t get via voice control.However, for about a week I’ve not been able to and I could not get one device to appear at all.  Voice control still worked fine.I’ve just gone through a whole reset on the problem network device, unlinked everything, changed the SSID and password on the guest network and set up from scratch.  However, when I changed networks I get the error message that there is no system found.I’m so confused as it has been working well for such a long tim

Hi. My system sonos system in living-room is composed by Smart TV, a ONE SL, a Sub-woofer, and two Play 5. And next to the living room I have, outside, a pair of outdoor sonos speakers.I would like to know if Sonos AMP can help me in the performance of all of this and, very important, if the AMP connects by wi-fi or if it’s only by cable (through the bananas)? 

Hello,Current system is Sonos 1 and 3 (first gen) and Amp. No issues with setup to network. Plays great through the app.Added an Arc and it is not being detected by the App I have updated the Sonos S2 App I have connceted the Arc directly to my router I have turned off my router and did a reset I have left the Arc on for 8 hour +  I have tried to factory reset the Arc by unplugging and the power, holding the infinity button, and plugging in..did not work. There is no status light: white, orange, or green showing up.  The only light is a repetitively flashing white LED next to the microphone.   I don’t know what else to do. I believe this is a faulty unit?Any suggestions?

I have multiple speaker spread around the house. The one in the kitchen keeps disconnecting. Power cycling fixes the issue temporarily but then it disconnects from the Sonos app after a while again. This speaker has worked flawlessly for several years and stood in the same position. Issues started when I swapped to a mesh router, so I suspect network issues. diagnostic: 1609197692

Dear Sonos Support,I am experiencing the following problem with a Play:1: when used alone, or in pair with another Play:1, it works flawlessly. However, when added as a rear speaker to the 5.1 home theater, there is no audible sound coming from it. I replaced it with another Play:1, and the issue persists on the new one as well. The other Play:1 (on the right side of the home theater) works correctly.It does not matter if the sound comes from the home theater: the problem persists when streaming music as well. The only way to have sound back from it is to unpair it from the home theater.Weirdly enough, when I add the Play:1 to the home theater, I hear the chime sound from both the rear speakers. But as soon as I start listening to music or to the TV, the sound is gone. If I start Trueplay setup, the system says that one speaker cannot be heard.I tried with both wired and wireless connection. I restarted the router and reset the speakers. Same result.My diagnostic confirmation number is

All other speakers are fine, one speaker receives connection was lost to Spotify because wifi was unstable.  it is around 3 meters from wifi ap with strong signal, it’s about 4 m from 2 other Sonos, and the other Sonos all seem to connect via each other to a Sonos play one which is direct connected to network  diagnostics 703065622 

It would be great to have the connection in the SONOS app to Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE’s app YLE Areena. This way we could listen to all the national broadcasting company’s radio channels plus all their audio material. https://areena.yle.fi/audio So far the YLE channels have been broadcasted via MyTuner radio, but now it has stopped working with Sonos for some reason.

Hi,We have two play:1 speakers which we have had for years with no issues and a beam for two years. We have had no issues using these, but since the last ios update every time I open sonos it says that it cannot find the speakers. My husband is having the same issues after the last update on his andriod phone. We found another article about turning on/off the private network in wifi, this solves it for the day but next day and the same issue is back. I have tried it with the setting turned on and off but only resetting the whole system now lets me see the speakers? If anyone has anything I can try it would be much appreciated (just a warning that I’m not massively tech savvy!)Thanks in advance.

Hi my Sono’s one’s keep disconnecting.My Beam is fine but no sound from the one’s.The App just says no system found and I cant access anything on the app.I don’t understand the technical stuff and don’t know what to do :(

I am just adding this, because this doesn’t work, at all.QA55Q7FAM - Firmware updatedSonos BEAM - HW 1.23.1.11-2.2 OS: S2 Ver: 13.0The device is correctly connected to the Beam and HDMI 2 (Arc) on the connection box. HDMI is not detected nor is it selectable (it doesn’t exist) in the Samsung TV Sound options, so “Audio Out/Optical” Selected. The Expert settings are Bitstream (In) and Dolby (Out) The TV can “see” the beam as a media server in the source list. Sonos App shows “Audio In: No signal” and HDMI test fails. I have tried two different HDMI cables and both work for other applications. I disconnected the connection box for 15 minutes and reconnected without the Cable Box, so only BEAM was connected, with no change in behaviour. The BEAM works as a ApplePlay 2 device just fineI am not seeing any available options for connecting this device and conclude the combination simply doesn’t work. This was not a discount TV to buy.What’s the answer?The HDMI (ARC) port on the Q7 is broken?

Is this still an issue? Sonos should please figure out a way to play a recently added playlist continuously without splitting them up by albums, where we have to continuously go on the phone and pick the next song. This is quite trivial and seems like should be a simple fix. If the Playbar I bought 3 months ago can’t update to have Airplay then the least they could do is make it possible to play a playlist continuously...Has anyone figured this out yet? Thanks!

Hi all, I was looking for some confirmation that my potential plan will succeed before spending my money.  I currently have a Playbar and 2 Play:1 attached to my TV and work really well. I have a separate turntable (denon dp-45f) attached to its own (old) hi-fi system (pioneer vsx-425) and 2 x Jensen speakers and sometimes headphones plugged directly into the amp.  My hi-fi system is on the way out and the pioneer is starting to fail so I was looking to attach the turntable to my sonos system. I understand ill need a pre-amp and then either connect to a port/five/amp. Planned sequence would be:Turntable → preamp → port/amp → bluetooth receiver/headphone amp + wireless to sonos Now this is where my question is: - I would like to with the option of either listening to my records with the wireless/wired headphones OR via the sonos system.  - If I set up the port or amp as a ‘room’ for the headphones (likely will use a bluetooth receiver plugged into the port), can I still ask the sonos to

Does anyone have a way to measure or test the bass output on the Arch or can explain why there is so much difference in the bass of the Play:5 vs Arc? I bought the Arc SL last week and trying to see if it’s defective or not, i.e. a feature vs a bug!Much appreciated!

I’ve had been stuck with a sonos system for 4 years and have had nothing but trouble - i wouldn't give them a fiver for it. Even though I’ve learned to turn the updates off (due to too many issues to name) i can still tell they’re tampering in the background. The latest being, all the grouped speakers have been lost and the (group) function will no longer work to reinstate groupings - I can play to one speaker but not several. On closer inspection i note that they now have an S2 version. Even though my S1 version was clunky it was adequate, but now the above feature doesn't work at all. I would love to be able to rid myself of the IT +#@*! in the background and actually be able to use the speakers i paid for. Any advice on finding freedom?

Having already seen a post with the same name - totally stolen - i am having the same issue. Set everything up and i have regular disconnections from the app and i cant then control anything. The only remedy is to plug in my Sonos One via ethernet and wait a few seconds where the app then recognises the remaining Playbar and 2x Play:3….. super infuriating.Had a previous Wifi Router from Vodafone bundled with the broadband package with no issues ever. Just moved house and had to purchase a new router - up steps the Netgear R6120 (AC1200), Firmware v 1.0.0.76 (the latest i can find)does anyone else suffer the same symptoms and have regular requirements to connect via cable to reestablish the connectionNot; no devices will connect without the cable even though it can detect them???? puzzling right….Thanks i advance 

Hey everyone, I have an Amp that I use for my computer audio via line-in. This works well, but sometimes the Amp forgets it’s playing when the audio is quiet for a while on YouTube, for example. Is there a setting that can keep the line-in audio alive?
