Hello.I have a Beam with 2 Play1s as surround sound speakers with a Roku and LG tv. Speakers are all on wi-fi.Streaming music sources will play through all three speakers but I get no sound from the surround speakers when trying to play 5:1 audio. I used to get this problem occasionally but rebooting the router would take care of the problem. I was using Sonos 1 so then I updated to Sonos 2 to see if that would help but now no amount of re-booting will help.Sonos system info screen shows the beam is getting Dolby Digital 5.1 when I have the problem.Another new problem happened after going to S2. While streaming music through the app selecting anything on the roku would stop the app stream and then play the HDMI input. Not so any more.It seems that the Beam ignores the HDMI input until I stop the music through the app. Not good.

does anyone know how (if possoble) you can get the ps5 to output dolby atmos to the arc via the LG GX when playing a 4k bluray?

I am in the process of putting together a home theater/media room. Its a relatively small room, ~17' x 13', and I am putting together all the components.After spending time over a few visits at local stores and being blown away by the sound I pulled the trigger on a Sonos system. I was attracted to the other features of the system besides just movie/TV sound.I purchased a Playbar, Sub, and 2 Play 1 speakers. After doing some more research I started to have some concerns that I may have bit off more than necessary given my wants and needs.My main goal is great surround sound from movies and TV, the other streaming features are nice to have, but I am concerned I may have significantly over-payed for what will be primarily a surround sound system for my TV. Are the other features worth it?I would love to hear any feedback or advice from more experienced Sonos users.Also, I was told I did not need a bridge, however, i seem to be getting conflicting information on that. Hi, my speaker fell forward (long story) and landed on a pointy thing and poked a whole through the speaker cover. The important parts a fine and the sound is still okay, although I am pretty sure it has impacted sound quality. I was wondering if there was any way to replace the cover.

I have both old and new devices.  went through the many factory resets over the weekend and created all old devices again as new on S1, while S2 running only me new devices. worked fine when I sat it up and using my Sonos account on both S1 and S2.  but only after a few days now the S1 app doesn’t give access to the old devices. It pops up with the message to “Use Sonos S2 app” and no function to say”No I stay on S1 with my old non-S2 compatible devices” ! what is going wrong here ? Diagnostics submitted just now. 319537631 for S1 / 1535573725 for S2 pls advise.  Peter HKG

Hi all, I'm using the Sonos amp with 2.1 third party speakers. I run FireTV into the TV's HDMI. Most of the apps on FireTV run Dolby Digital Plus. I selected audio pass through on the TV's settings. TV is connected to HDMI arc to Sonos amp. Most of my videos apps use Dolby Plus so I assume and hope that somewhere along this transfer the Dolby Plus will convert to Dolby Digital (Sonos compatibility)? How can I verify this? I assume I wouldn't get audio if it wasn't compatible but would be nice to check this because I find the phantom centre doesn't work all that great and maybe it's because I'm not getting the right audio format. 

This is a recent problem for me. I can play music from my Spotify app on my Sonos speaker but not podcasts. I’ve deleted and reinstalled both apps. The message I get is ‘can’t connect to device right now’ when I try listen to a podcast but music is ok. Any advice hugely appreciated. I’m connecting from my iPhone.Thanks LJ

Hi all. New to Sonos systems and am running into some problems. I can see a bunch of posts here about TP Link WiFi extenders, but nothing that describes the exact problem I’m having. I’m also not that familiar with the technology behind all of this, so am struggling to keep up on some of the threads!I have two Sonos One SL speakers, one in my living room and another in my office. Because the WiFi signal does not reach the office, I have used a TP Link AV1300 powerline adaptor to get signal back there.Most of the time the two speakers will play together without issue, but every now and again one speaker will stop working. I have experienced the issue with both speakers, but it seems the speaker I lose is usually the one I add to whichever is already playing music (i.e. If I begin playing from the living room speaker and then add the office speaker, the office is the one causing problems; and visa versa.)It seems the system suddenly stops recognising that there are two speakers connected

Hi,I have 2 sonos one. Every thing works well but I am a technical question. I hope I posted in a right subsection.I would like to know how sonos sends and plays a music which I send it from a different network like my mobile data. How it finds my home speaker IP and port?

I’m thinking of getting two arcs, one for the living room TV and one for the upstairs TV (both LG CXs). If I add extra speakers for each Arc (bass or surround) will there be any interference between the two separate systems. In other words, the bass in the living room should not be “activated” when I use the Arc upstairs. Is that how it works (I hope)? Thanks.

Hi Support. My Play5 music stops randomly when playing Spotify, after few minutes of play. Seems to be a recent problem. It is basically unusable.This happens with the Android App (both Sonos App or Spotify app playing on Sonos).This is the only Sonos in my network, connected via Wifi. Diagnostic #1854636778.Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks 

Hi I need clarification on the setup I’m planning build. The TV is Samsung TU7000 65” with eARC connection “but this TV is not Dolby Atmos TV. Question: will SonosArc+Subgen3+oneSL produce Dolby Atmos given that movie being playback is Dolby Atmos format on TU700?or Dolby Atmos requires Dolby Atmos TV capable + eARC connection?Hope someone can get back to me with clean answer. 

Since the S1/S2 app split, I've noticed that throughout the day the Radio 2 feed will suddenly jump back by approximately 30 seconds and then repeat what you have just been listening to. I am using S1 software. I have submitted a diagnostic about 2 minutes after the last incident of this fault, confirmation number is 728377785. 

Hi all,I’ve seen all of the issues with YouTube Music floating around. I have been looking at Sonos for ages and was really excited to unbox a Move as the first addition to a collection. Now I am actually using the solution,I have no option but to use the Sonos App (Android) which is extremely poor compared the YTM interface and also means I can’t like songs when I’m listening to my supermix which is how I discover all my new music. I also tend to use YTM on my PC and I can’t find a reasonable way to cast from YTM from the web version. Is there something I am missing or should I just return the speaker and look at an alternative solution which actually supports ‘cast’ ? Any input is appreciated.Thanks,Adam 

Diagnostic: 1638506913I’ve had intermittent problems with connectivity, but much worse with Sonos HD. Each speaker keeps cutting in and out when I try to play it in the main room with 4xplay5 and 4xplay1 grouped together. Tried a wireless config using a Linksys mesh (VELOP) and also a Boost. Hey guys, I wanted to ask a few questions about the “dedicated side front channels” trick using Groups in a 5.0 or 5.1 setup. I know the process of how to do it, but I wanted to confirm some details before deciding on a purchase.I currently have a Beam + 2 rear Ones in Home Theatre mode. However, my room is very wide and the audio sources almost create a triangle shape instead of a rectangle.With that being said: Considering that the Beam will still drive the 3 frontal channels, is the widening effect of the new side channels noticeable? Or does the Beam narrows it again and compensates it? How is TruePlay impacted by this? I’d guess I’d run it without the “Front Group”, rendering it untrue. About the sync, is the Front Group ahead of the Home Theatre Group so all I have to do is delay the former? Is ARC capable of delaying the video if needed? Should I expect more crashes because of this? Basically, is it worth it?Do note that I’m aware that the Beam is designed to bounce the side cha

Hi,My new Sonos move have an alarm set at 6:45 mon-fri at home. This week I have the speaker with me for vacation and uses the bluetooth feature on the speaker. Every morning I wake up at 6:45 because the Move decides that it should keep the alarm. I cant turn it off because the Move is not set up for the Sonos network. Only solution I found is to reset the speaker (you need a charger and cant do this with only battery?) and then setup the speaker again with a new network. Shouldnt the alarm be disabled for travel? Regards,Carl

I'm having an issue with my new Sony A8H and sonos arc. The tv keeps switching the audio output to the TV speakers rather than through the soundbar. The Sonos arc will play sound for 1-5 seconds than revert to the tv speakers. There are times where it works as it should, but I usually have to turn the tv off/on multiple times to get that to happen. The arc works fine when streaming music, and it worked immediately when I plugged it into my 6 year old samsung smart tv upstairs. I have the sonos arc connected to the arc/earc port on the TV. I have tried 2 different HDMI cables (sony suggested the one that came with the arc was the issue, when I switched it out for a spare I had lying around the problem resolved itself for a while, but then returned). The earc setting on the tv is set to auto. Pass through also set to auto. Sony support has had me do power reset, factory reset, changed the RS232c control from HDMI port to serial port. These have in turn fixed the issue, but after the tv i

I have [Playbar] , [AMP and SUB].When listening to music, I only use AMP and SUB. When watching TV, I use everything. But! When I chose everything to play together in the Sonos app, it work seamless, but if I ect pause my TV for a few minutes, my playbar and AMP separate itself, and I need to choose it to play together in the Sonos app again.I want my configuration to be like I want, until I change it myself..  

Hello Sonos team,I just bought to my Sonos eco-system remote controls from IKEA: - correctly setup Tradfri gateway - setup SYMFONISK Sound remote for Living room (Port device) - works perfectly - setup second SYMFONISK Sound remote for kids room (2xPlay:3) - and I found out, that it is really “sluggy” - it responds after 1-3 secs, also volume control steps are really badI also found same issue when controlling devices via iOS app “IKEA Home smart”: - when controlling new devices - Sonos Port / Sonos One - it reacts immediatelly - also volume changes (from 10% to 60%) is done in one step immediately- but when controlling old devices - Sonos Play:1 / Play:3 - it is “sluggy” - volume change (from 10% to 60%) is done in several steps and with delay after each step… every control step is really pain.Is this normal ? Do old devices miss some feature ?I am really disapointed 

Hi all. My setup is pretty simple currently and I am wanting to get a bit more omph from it. currently I have an analogue amp and 2 bookshelf speakers which i love and want to ideally keep them part of the system. my setup is for my TV and a vinyl player. I already have a Sonos one which I airplay to and use for Alexa. What I am wanting is to get a second Sonos One and combine that with the other one that I already have and make them rear speakers and my bookshelves be the fronts. my question here is, what would I need to have 2 Sonos Ones and my bookshelf speakers all be part of the system whether I am listening to music or watching TV? Me second question is, will i lose out on anything if I add an Arc or Beam in the future? Will I be restricted to 2 channel if I have analogue inputs, etc? 

Are there any possibility to connect Bang Olufsen Wireless (WISA) speakers to my existing SONOS system? I have 4 AMP:s, 2 One. i relly love the B&O speakers and still want to use SONOS 

Hej Sonos,Min få dage gamle Sonos Playbase vil pludseligt ikke tilslutte appen igen.  Dette er sket efter mit netværk gik ned i et par timer. Jeg løste problemet med nettet, og alt andet smart home jeg ejer tilsluttede fint igen efter 30 minutter. Men min playbase vil ikke tilslutte uanset hvad pokker jeg gør.  Jeg har prøvet at resette Playbasen ved at slukke den, og holde connect knappen inde mens jeg tænder igen. Der blinker den orange lidt, og derefter går den bare tilbage til blinkende hvid. Appen er forsøgt nulstillet.Router er nulstillet. Hjælp

HelloI have just had a very frustrating chat with Sonos support. I have noticed recently that on Bluetooth my Sonos Move is no longer showing battery % (with wifi disconnected etc.) - the battery meter shows but it is blank. Raised this with support who are telling me that this is not a feature and there is no way to look at battery life from bluetooth. I’ve spent 15 minutes trying to convince them that I have used the feature before only to be told that they would be happy to help me connect it to WiFi, see the battery life and then disconnect it again…..Am I going mad? Has the feature been removed?
