Port will not connect. Port was set up and working. Haven’t used for awhile. Network has not changed. Have reset router and taken port connections out and put back in. Still will not connect.

Hi, I have been using my Beam with a Samsung TV for over 2 years with no issues but iit has just started losing connection with the Beam when the TV is turned on after being on Standby. I have tried every solution offered on forums etc with no result.There is a work round by unplugging the TV and then it works OK. Obviously this isn't ideal and wonder if anyone else has a similar issue and found a solution.  

Hi you Good People out there….Well,i got some questions to ask so i can get a better understanding of this. Anyway,here it goes:I have basicly tree rooms with Sonos-items. My livingroom down stairs,a livingroom upstairs and my bedroom.All these rooms got a Panasonic 10yo+ plastma-tv each. And with their 2022 Apple TV 4k( 3xPansonic tv&3xApple TV in total)Livingroom upstairs got the Cinema-setup with the Beam G2, ERA 100 and 2xSub G3….and a Arcana HDfury(the only one i got)Bedroom got ERA 100’s in stereo,and the livingroom downstairs got two pairs of Ikea BS speaker.Everything have been working ok. And i got the same issues as others when it comes to how to use the side-menu on Apple TV to dissble TV speakers,and hook off for either ERA or BS. Well you follow me so far right?Ok,the Ikea BS’es i have one pair under my tv(places where a future Ray/Beam/Ark would be located) and the other Ikea BS i bought the org stands and did a foot/base delite. Hi,ok, I had a stroke 3 years ago so I hope i can put the info together! And the actual work required. Installed the Beam G2 in April 2020 and it has been perfect. Then yesterday, sound just stopped when playing from platforms such as Amazon Prime, Disney+ and local TV. The speaker does work though. I can play music from Spotify which I use via my phone.Gone into app. Unplugged Sonos, re-started, held down infinity button, re set up app. It made that humming noise to confirm it was good to go. It says the system is set up correctly, big tick on the Sonos logo when looking at all available apps on the TV. What am I missing? Besides a chunk of brain. HaThanksAnthony

This seems like a very straightforward thing to do so I’m really hoping I’m missing something. I have really nice PC speakers. I want to add them to Sonos so that they are a device. Similar to using the Sonos Port with a tuner. I’ve got the Sonos app on my PC but I do not see anywhere to simply play or add the PC’s speakers to Sonos.Please tell me this is possible and how to do it :) Thanks!

I want to add two outdoor speakers that carry some punch. And I see there are cheaper options than the sonos outdoor speakers. Specifically I was looking at klipsch aw350. Being 350w speakers, is the sonos amp enough to power them properly? Or is there a better speaker for outdoors? I want a lot of sound but I’m not going to drop thousands to do it. 

I’ve just setup a system with two Roams as a stereo pair on a Wi-Fi network, but during play back sound only comes out of the left hand speaker.  They display as connected in the controller app and the control buttons on both speakers work as expected, it’s just that one speaker is silent :-(.I suspected there might have been a hardware issue with the actual speakers inside the device, but I connected to it with Bluetooth and it plays fine.  Looking around in the controller app there’s a balance control in the EQ settings, but it’s set to 0 (the middle) by default.  Moving it left makes no difference, but moving it right makes everything quiet with it going silent at +20R.So is this some firmware bug?  Or has something gone wrong with my setup that a reset would fix?  Any help appreciated.

Hi,I have a YouTube music playlist with 1127 songs. In the Sonos app not even half of these are being displayed. It stops somewhere around 400.I have removed the service and added it back, this doesn't help. I have reset the entire system, this didn't help either. Any ideas how to make the entire playlist display for browsing ? 

I have an existing surround sound system with a Denon X1700 receiver. We just bought a Sonos port on BestBuys advice to be able to play sports audio on the projector inside (through fire stick plugged into the receiver) as well as the sonance outdoor speakers. The sonance are hooked up to an AMP and the receiver will currently play Spotify on both systems through the Sonos app. However, I can’t figure out a way to get the Fire stick audio to play on both speakers. The port is plugged into the main phono audio in on the receiver and the regular out plugs, not using digital… the fire stick is plugged into the HDMI (media player). Right now I have to change the input to phono on the receiver to get Spotify to work on all speakers… does that mean I need to get a different set of plugs to do the TV audio? Do I need to change the audio input on the receiver and use Spotify on the fire stick instead? Is a port going to be able to do what we want? Thanks for your insight Sonos community! 

I just setup the Sonos amp and 2 Sonos outdoor speakers.I think I read the amp will power 4 outdoor speakers.  Is this true?  Can I buy 2 more Sonos outdoor speakers and run them on the same amp?

My sonos move can't connect to sonos voice control. It times out and asks me if I have a wifi connection, which I do,a good one.

I just bought the Amp, the sub and 2 Era 100.  All is working except the Era 100 for surround. I have tried everything and cannot get it to work. The crazy part is that I had bought the Arc over the weekend with the AMP as surround and that worked great except that the Quality of sound from the Arc was poor compared to the existing non-SONOS wall speakers. Anyways, long story short, I returned the Arc, and then used the AMP as my front speakers with my existing wall speakers, and then added the sub plus the Era 100 for surround (rear).  Surround will not work with the Era 100 in this configuration.  Not sure what else to try.  Any ideas before I choose to run back to the store and replace my whole set up with a trusted reliable brand like BOSE?

I recently decided to switch to a 2x2 TB SSD RAID drive running in an enclosure off of my Mac mini, replacing an old but not-yet dead NAS.  The NAS did backups and held my music files.  I found such cheap (Intel) SSDs that the whole thing came it at about $200, which is cheaper than a comparable NAS with mechanical drives.  It seemed pretty simple to swap, with OSX Extended (Case sensitive, journaled) format partitions for public files (music), Time Machine, and Misc on each of the two RAID drives.  Time Machine loves it, and I can read and write to the other partitions as normal.  Sonos, not so much.  When I specify the path to my music, e.g., /Volumes/Pubic RAID/Shared Music/iTunes, I get maybe 10 seconds of indexing (lots of music, so it should take a long time even off of a fast SSD) and then no music in either the Mac or iPhone app.  If I do the same process off of my base HD, which is a tiny SSD that is APFS formatted, it works (for the 10 or 20 tracks I have there).I’d deeply ap

have created a routine in Amazon Alexa which includes playing music from the Sonos Roam. After some time when the Roam goes into sleep mode - it seems that it does not respond to the Alexa routine unless it is manually woken up.I have read other forums which say the Roam should respond to Alexa routines even while in sleep mode - soI'm wondering if there is something else I need to doAll I can think is to disable to sleep mode on the Roam so it is alway on, but obviously this has effects on battery lifeCheers for any input!

I have 2 music sources I want to remove, but there is not option to remove. One source is from my NAS, and another from a PC. Both disply on the windows desktop app as well as the mobile app, but neither show up on ´manage library settings´ on desktop, or ´services and voice´on andriod app.How can they be deleted?

Hi, I have read through all related posts and can’t seem to figure out how to get it working. I have just purchased a Deco Mesh PX50 which is a powerline mesh network. I can’t figure out how to get the arc connected to the network and I need this as it is how I stream my music. I also need the mesh as the wifi in the house was not adequate previously. Hi all!I recently moved an Era100 to another room to use it as a computer speaker and I am running into a strange scenario: If a connect through bluetooth from my mac there’s no delay If I connect through Bluetooth from my PC, there is a noticeable delay. The interesting thing is that I also have a Muso QB. If I connect through bluetooth to it from the same PC, I don’t experience any delay. I am not a 100% sure why there’s only delay on the Era 100 and not both of the speakersAnyone had a similar scenario and was able to sort it out?

After rebooting my music voice command "Stop music or pause music" will not function.

I’ve just purchased an Indoor/Outdoor set (Era 100 and Move), I plan on getting a second Era 100 to set up together eventually, just didn’t do it right away due to the cost. My question is, could I have 2 Era 100 in sync with my Move? I’m not concerned with stereo sound. I just want the two era 100 playing inside and the move outside when I have people over. sound from Sonos Arc is ok when playing netflix or hbo max, but NOT when playing sound from the TV, any idea why?, everything is connected properly to the TV as netflix and hbo max work ok

Hello, suddenly all music services disappeared from the app and when trying to add new ones, the page is completely blank. I'll add screenshots on this.The system and all products have been reset, updated and tried to logout/login of the account. The app works on our other systems but not this one.

Hi, I am about to acquire an Arc and some Era300. I watched some youtube video saying sonos voice control does not work with spotify.  Are these video still up to date ? Maybe this has been fixed recently ? Does it ? Thanks for you share. P
