I have two grouped Era 100s, I want my gf to be able to control the volume (or song but volume is the most important piece) if I am playing music. How can she do that?

There are a few options for her:
She can use the touch controls on top of either speaker.
She can download the Sonos app on her phone and connect to your system and control the speakers using the app.
You can set up a voice assistant like Amazon Alexa so she can control the speaker with her voice.
