Sonos Arc here.  Pretty much at my wits end on setting up my Sonos Arc using Trueplay.  Trueplay worked fine right out of the box.  Since then have rearranged some furniture in the room and wanted to run Trueplay again.  Now has background noise problems when I try to run it.  Everything turned off, everything has been rebooted, access to my iPhone 14 microphone is fine, but every time I try to run it there is always a background noise error message. Nothing is running.  No one is making any noise.  Very annoying.  The one thing I have not done is to call Sonos.  That will probably be my next step.

I have the exact same issue as bthaler from a year ago.I created a developer account on 24 October 2025, and the developer dashboard still says “Your registration is being analyzed by our team, please wait.”. There are no other options on the page. It has remained this way since I registered. I created a developer support ticket on 26 October, but there has been no acknowledgement or reply to my ticket and there has still been no reply or acknowledgement of the ticket.Does anyone monitor or reply to developer support tickets? How long am I expected to wait for my registration to be “analyzed”? My company has many clients we’d like to integrate with Sonos but I don’t seem to be able to proceed with anything yet.It’s 2 months to get approval to get on to the Sonos app which is longer than any other intgeration that we’ve had to do. Now we have to wait even longer?

I have a TCL QM8K and for the first months with my setup everything was working fine. I have the Beam Gen 2 connected to the ARC port of the TV and Play:1 as surround speakers. I was able to play movies with AAC 5.1 or 7.1 with no problem. Now the movies with AAC only plays as PCM 2.0. I have no idea if it was an update that caused this. I even downgraded my TV OS to see if that was the problem but it wasn’t. I have a huge catalog of movies and a lot of them are only in AAC multichannel. I don’t know what to do. 

Hello all. My father in law has a play 3 in his dining room, playbar in the the lounge and we bought him a play 1 for his garage.Up till now he has run home wifi with a sonos BOOST in a room closest to his garage to help the play 1 work.  However recently he wanted more wifi signal in his garage and workshop so he bought a uniFi wifi switch which by the sounds of it creates a network extension into his garage. Now the Play 1 works for a while and is spotted on the app. But then starts to drop out and then eventually sonos app can't find the play 1 at all.  To add to the mystery he plugged in a play 3 in the garage and it worked faultlessly and has yet to drop out or disappear.Neither one of us are network orientated. So any help on why the play1 is misbehaving would be great. New Sonos devices drastically reduce my wifi speed. Like a lot. Can’t work. And yes, my router and service are fine.

i get steady rec light on roam when plugged in. it does not respond to any buttons for reset or power off.  When off charger get no light and definitely doesn’t respond.  it’s failed off my system toi

Since the last update, I’ve been having issues streaming from Sonos Five. I’ve noticed in my router logs it seems to be switching from Ethernet to Wifi and have no idea why. My Sonos Five is connected directly to my router by a ethernet cable. Over the years, I have had more trouble with Sonos than any other device. 

We have just bought a Sonos Arc that we have connected to our Sony TV via the HDMI Arc port using the cable that came with the Sonos. We have a Sky Q box connected to the TV via another HDMI port. The sound settings on the Sky Q are set to Dolby Digital Plus. We’re impressed with the sound quality.However, we can’t hear any sound from certain channels, including the YouTube App. We also get no sound from YouTube if we connect to it directly from the TV rather than via Sky Q. I’m presuming this is because those channels that are ‘silent’ are not broadcasting in HD? If we set the Sky Q sound setting to Normal we can’t hear any sound at all through the soundbar on any TV channel.Any ideas?Thanks

I am running a Sonos S1 controller with a series 1 Sonos 3, Sonos 5 and Connect.I have been trying to set up a music library on my Western Digital NAS, MyCloud Home, but keep getting the reponse error 900 which then wants me to change the server stack in my windows registry.Is this for real? Surely there must be some other way? 

My setup is for TV surround sound. A SONOS Play Base connected to a TV, via optical cable with a SONOS Sub and two SONOS Play 5s and all was working fine until my TV broke.I bought a new Samsung TV (Samsung QLED QEF1 4K), but it doesn't support optical output. Most of the new TVs available don't seem to support optical output, and I know the SONOS Play Base only accepts optical input.The TV has HDMI ARC, so I tried to find a solution - HDMI ARC output from TV to Optical input to Play Base, with a converter of some sort. When I contacted SONOS support, they told me no such solution exists and to buy either a new, different TV or a new SONOS sound bar product.ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS PLEASE??Yes I know there is a  Optical Audio Adapter | Sonos : from SONOS, but this only does Optical to HDMI ARC, not the other way around.Thanks for any help - Stephen 

Hello - I have 2 x Era 300s on a wifi network and would like to add a couple more smaller speakers to the system to fill out the room. Usecase is music in a midsized room.Budget is an issue so looking at second hand, will older models like Play 1 do the job? Any older models that wouldn't work?Thanks.

I attempted to listen to a Pandora station and nothing is happening.  I’ve removed my pandora account and readded but still unable to stream.  I’ve rebooted by Sonos speaker and no luck.  I can stream SiriusXM but not Pandora.I have verified that Pandora is working through the Pandora app.I’ve tried on both an Android app and from a Mac Mini and both show the same thing.Errors I’m getting have been Network issues or something went wrong.Anyone else experiencing this?  I’ve submitted diagnostics *********.Moderator edit: Recorded and removed diagnostics number

I have a Sonos Arc.  When I took the soundbar out of the box after purchase the set up when fine.  Everything worked including all controls.  Since then the EQ has stopped working and also the loudness selection.  The speech enhancer works just fine.  You can use the sliders for bass and treble but it has no effect on the sound.  I tried a factory reset and reboots of the internet connection plus reinstalled the app but these controls still will not work and have no effect on the audio.  All updates have been done.  I am very disappointed and am afraid that this problem will keep me from buying anymore Sonos products or giving a good recommendation if asked.

I have a Home Automation Inc (HAI) Hi-Fi2, 8 zone sound system that I am interested in replacing as it is working intermittently and the manufacturer has discontinued the product.  Each zone corresponds to a room in the house with 2 speakers mounted in the ceiling and a small control panel.  All the speakers/control panels are wired and run back to the main Hi-Fi2 control box.  The main control box has numerous audio inputs allowing you to select (via the small control panel in each room) from multiple line-in sources (e.g. amplifier, iPhone, CD player, etc.) .  My questions: Is there a Sonos product that could be used to replace the HAI Hi-Fi2 box, but still use the existing speakers?  I’m assuming the Sonos App would replace the individual control panels.  Would I still have the option to connect and select from multiple line-in sources? Is this a DIY installation or do I need a professional?  (I am comfortable with computers, networks, hand/power tools and can follow instructions).A

L'ensemble fonctionne en multiroom uniquement avec l'application Sonos 1 sans mise à jour depuis très longtemps. Est-il possible d'intégrer un ampli zoneplayer 120 à mon dispositif  ? Sachant que l'ajout d'un nouvel appareil est tributaire d'une mise à jour. Y a t'il une solution ? Comment dois-je procéder ? Merci beaucoup par avance pour vos réponses. 

I have been having issues with my One SL Speaker that’s in my bedroom - it keeps changing its name back to “Kitchen”, which then gets confusing as I have already another speaker in the kitchen.I am changing the speaker name in the SONOS app on my phone, and it reverts back to kitchen the next time I use my speakers. I’ve read many posts online about it being related to Apple Home Kit but I do not use Apple Home at all.I have tried removing the device, re-adding it to my system, and I even factory reset the device with no luck.Is this some sort of glitch within Sonos? Can any one provide any information on how to fix it.

Can’t submit diagnostics report. Spotify not working through Sonos S2 or Spotify Connect. This is a constant problem.  reset products. Reset wifi. Tried everything. I feel like this is a major flaw in the S2 app that continues to get worse. 

Hi, I need to update my bridge on my sonos Play 1 and it doesn’t work. I’ve rebooted everything (sonos, mobile and wifi router) and I still get the message « There was a problem setting up your bridge. Our customer care is ready to help ».  The problem is I cannot listen to the radios any more. Thanks a lot for your support!

I have recently wall mounted by Sonos Beam Gen 1 to the wall underneath my wall mounted tv. up until that point the beam was working perfectly with the tv volume. Now the tv volume won’t play through the beam, air play works fine through the beam. The beam is taking control of the tv as it usually does because it has disabled the tv speakers as it usually does but no tv sound is coming though the speakers, I’ve cross checked everything, switched off the Beam, reset my WiFi hub. went into the Sonos app and tried the TV connection and it says ino connection to TV but the beam is connected properly?? Can anyone help? Hi, I would like to do a feature request. I would like to have the possibility to have the cover in full screen in the Now Playing window on iPad.Here you have a comparison between the iPad mini and Galaxy tab A9 now playing window cover size. In iPad is very small compared to the Galaxy tab. Could it be possible to address this change? I think the people who loves to see the covers would like this feature in iPad.  Thanks! 

The problem with my Sonos Play:1 speaker is that it doesn’t perform a factory reset, it doesn’t connect through the Sonos app, and it doesn’t work when I try using an Ethernet cable. No matter what I do, it doesn’t respond or connect properly.

Hi,i have deleted the alarms i set on the app on my lap top and I then re set them. I am still getting the sonos Chime alarm - the speakers are Play gen 1If i then push the pause button on the speaker - the chime alarm stops.The alarm i have set via the app on my lap top plays / kicks in - for example the radio channel i have chosen. how do i stop the Sonos Chime Alarm ?
