Windows app can’t access Spotify or Amazon music - problem connecting. Any attempt to manage music services gives an error saying there is no internet connection  and then the app just hangs. It has to be killed with windows task manager.FYI Mobile Sonos app on the same system works fine and both music services are ok from there - only the desktop app is failing.

Hi all - I have a current 5.1 set up in the family room (sorta)Denon 5.2 Ch Receiver PSB bookshelf speakers x2 In ceiling speakers x2 No sub (need to drill through cabinetry) No centre channel speaker In my equipment cabinet I have a Sonos AMP which is currently being used to power my outdoor deck speakers I also have 9 other Sonos powered zones through my house via AMP or Connect:AMPSo, I really need to add a centre channel and sub to this set up.  Sound is “ok” but without centre channel, the dialogue is missing something.Am I able to integrate the sound bar and sub into this set up easily?  Thanks 

Changed WiFi router and although it converses with Alexa and BBC Sounds, the request never gets passed through to the server.

I have a Play 5 that I want to connect to my Port (via RCA cable) which is connected to a turntable as the source. Doing so I hear no output from the Play 5 speaker.  Do I need to connect an amplifier between the Port and the Play 5? I am trying to find a use for my Play 5 since it is an older model and not compatible with the newer equipment I have. The Port correctly broadcasts to my other Sonos speakers in the house. I thought I could hardwire the Play 5 and use it as well.  No?

I have posted before that I have a Gen 1 Play 5 on S1 and an Arc on S2. Each used a separate account and network. Once I have done resets, S1 will play for a few days  it then the "Sonos fond Connect" message comes up and my Play 5 does not get to play music. This is so frustrating and should be fixed by a line of code. If S1 is connected to Play 5 Hen1, then do not try to  connect to S2. Surely someone at Sonos can  ome up with a solution to this recurring problem. Yes, I know they would prefer me to buy something new, but based on this fiasco, it wouldn't be Sonos. The Play 5 is a great speaker. The support is rubbish.

Sorry of if I am going over something previously asked but can’t find the answer I am looking for.i am looking to link up a turntable to my Sonos Arc Ultra.ideally a Pro-Ject Debut, T1 or T2 I am a general listener not looking for perfection but I have read several reviews saying the port is unstable, disconnects and the sound is really flat?I also read a lot about a bad delay?  should I buy a turntable with inbuilt phono ?Should I buy Sonos AMP or Port ? 

As my new SONOS Port won't play M4a or 24bit wav files I(I want play my Chesky hires music files), what alternatives do I have? Other brands?I’ve tried converting them to 16bit wav files, but still won’t play on SONOS. Audacity won’t open them, but $500 laptop plays them fine with Foobar natively! Tried converting them to WAV16bit in Foobar, but they still won’t play. Only way I can get then to play is converting to mp3.

The alarms were fixed after the app upgrade debacle in 2024, until the latest upstage this week when they've been removed again! (May 2025).The alarm option is still shown in the app but all previously saved alarms have disappeared and you can't save any new alarms you try to create.Even worse, the existing alarms are still in the system somewhere as they still play but there's no way to see, edit, or stop them!!Sonos, please re-fix the alarms! Phantom alarms that still play but we can't edit are a disaster! 

Well the Sonos saga continues. I lost Alexa connectivity a week ago. Since then I've changed broadband provider and router. The usual Sonos nightmare began. Difficulty connecting Sonos One to the new router, 1 still won't connect.Alexa connects, but with no functionality. Won't play radio or music and showing off-line in Alexa app.Why is Sonos such a nightmare to do anything with. I may give up and by a few Alexas and save the hassle.Any ideas????

Play 3 and Play 1 distorted sound is there anything that can be done 

I have 3 SONOS Amps controlling several in-ceiling speakers in my house.  These speakers are in separate zones.  I use the SONOS S1 app (because one of the Amps is an older model).  I also use Alexa to play music.  The speakers are not SONOS brand.I am in the process of selling my home, and the buyer is going to keep the whole setup.  How do I transfer or give him control so that I don’t have to give him my login ID and password?

Bravia A95L Sonos Arc Ultra (plugged in to eArc port) 2x Sonos Era 300s as rear left and right Sonos Sub AppleTV 4k & PS5 For the past year I’ve been having this weird issue after waking my TV and playing content. The only audio I'd hear would be coming from the Arc, but it's just the rear channels (as if they're replacing the center and front channels normally outputting from the soundbar).If I switch the audio output to TV Speakers on the A95L, the screen goes black for a couple seconds, comes back, weirdly is still set to Audio System for output (or possibly switched back to it automatically), and the issue is gone.This happens every time I wake up my TV and also happens with my PS5, so it’s clearly an issue between Sonos and Sony.I've tried power cycling TV, ATV, and all Sonos products, but that didn't help. I’ve tried different cables as well as resetting the HDMI handshake by plugging things in one at a time.

I'm choosing rear speakers for my Beam (Gen 2). I have two questions:1. Can I adjust the bass and treble levels (equalizer function) on the Era 100 or One SL while they're paired with the Beam?2. I know the differences between the One SL and Era 100 are Alexa smart speaker functionality and size. Are there other differences? Do you know about any differences in sound quality?Thanks.

From yestwrday my S1 system refuses to play soundcloud songs and say that all are encoded inccorrctly. Anyone else experiencing this? Last time I had trouble with Soundcloud service it was a failure with the plugin.. and was fixed centrally.All other services are working fine!Thanks in advance! Are

*Why did I lose more than half of my speakers? This is just too bad, more than half of my speakers has suddenly lost connection. 

About 4 weeks ago Alexa says “playing Jimmy Buffet on Pandora, hmmmm I’m having trouble playing that right now”Disconnected my router, unplugged my Sonos speakers, unlinked then relinked Amazon music and Pandora in the Alexa app, deleted the Alexa app and reinstalled it. Can’t get Alexa to play any music. Anyone have similar problem? Or fix?

The Play:5 works intermittently, and the longer it’s on the more stable it gets, even to the point of no interruptions. 

I have been streaming Spotify on the highest quality music for years. now with update from Spotify streaming Flac but speakers does not switch from 320K to FlacI have a Beam and Play3 pair and Play1 pairs in other rooms. iPhone as a controller. Do these older Sonos speakers support Spotify Lossless audio?Is Spotify now streaming in Flac or do I just have to wait until October 

Both of my Play 3 speakers quit working around the same time and now wont turn on. I have tried the factory reset by unplugging, holding the play button and plugging back in. No luck and no light with either one. Any suggestions? Thank you,

Well BBC Radio 4 and all the other stations no longer list in SONOS or in TUNEIN. As of this morning (8 am EDT)  I have R4 set as an alarm and it worked yesterday and today not. BBC Sounds does not show up in services. NONE of the BBC stations show in SONOS Radio or in TUNEIN In the TUNEIN app on my iPhone to which I have a paid subscription BBC Radio 4 now shows the following message.     Regional Restrictions    This station is not available in your region. Honestly this is so upsetting … BBC itself said that BBC RADIO 4 and WORLD SERVICE would be available TO ALL ANYWHERE.  And now they are taking it away ???That is the article where they said that https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c8j1m721mp2o“The BBC has said its radio stations will continue to be available for people outside the UK to listen to live after BBC Sounds access is restricted for international listeners.The BBC said listening to BBC audio programming on non-BBC platforms would not be affected by the change.”There is no

Hey up until today I’ve had no issues listening to BBC 6 Music through the Sonos Radio app but now it’s saying “Couldn’t Play Content, Try later” Anyone know how to fix this?

I’ve had Sonos since their beginnings with still 5 speakers amps port etc from 1st gen and no one wants them!  They have always worked without ZERO problems.  I’ve since renewed to the “newer” versions, with a slew of new speakers amplifiers port etc.  Boy oh boy what a nightmare I live about once or twice a month...for no apparent reason.  Nothing has changed on my Internet supplier other than the last 4 years I’m now at 1Gig fibre install.So, one day I see 2 of my 12 speakers, Sonos tells me to reboot my “modem”, why I don't know cause it comes back with maybe 3 of my 12 speakers...Sonos keeps telling me it's on my end.  I get frustrated and hangup (politely). a day later all 12 speakers are all there and working magically.  Another day all speakers are not there, so I go to every speaker and reconnect with the app.  If you have enough speakers in a house and need to re-connect all 12 speakers...it's an arduous task.  After all this is done they all work.  Now since yesterday, on my

I’ve been reading a lot of information here, on Reddit, on Synology’s site (my router is Synology), and on Apple’s communities. I’ve also done many web searches and AI chats. Finally, I chatted with Sonos support and talked by phone (lots of time spent). The Sonos support included sending diagnostics a few minutes after the problem on three different occasions. Most recently, I did some digging with the help of Airplay documentation and searches. What I’ve found is that my Arc Ultra and Era 300s do not appear to be advertising AirPlay via mDNS correctly. My Sonos Amp is working fine.
