Just bought a ERA300 and set it up an hour ago. Usually I listen to music from Spotify but I also have made a few playlist with own produced music, imported to my iPhone as mp3 files. I create a playlist in Spotify on my computer with these files and when I connect my iPhone to the computer it synchronizes the iPhone with the changes I made, the playlist with local files pops up in the iPhone as well. But now I have tried both the “normal” way to listen to these local files from the iPhone via ERA300 connected to WIFI which not worked, and I did not expect it to work either.Then I pushed the small “bluetooth connect” button on the back of ERA300 and connected my iPhone via bluetooth. It still refused to play my mp3 files, when I click on them in Spotify on my iPhone absolutely nothing happens. My thoughts on this is that maybe the WIFI still is connected to ERA300, and this might be the reason that it does not work? Can I stop ERA300 from beeing connected to the WIFI and use it as a si

I have a surround sound system.  Every day, although music still plays the system disappears form the app and I go through the network update routine.  This is getting so regular that it is more than a nuisance.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  Thanks.

I currently use a Sonos Arc setup with two Sonos Subs in the same room, and the improvement in bass distribution is fantastic. However, in larger rooms or more acoustically challenging environments, the ability to add a third (or even fourth) Sub would be extremely valuable.I’d love to see Sonos expand the current limitation and allow more than two Subs in a single zone. This would open up new possibilities for advanced home theater setups and professional installations.Is this something Sonos is considering for future updates? I know many users with larger spaces would benefit from this flexibility.

I have an issue with Sonos skipping ONLY when playing songs from my digital music library.I am at my wits end and ready to scrap Sonos after a year of frustration and troubleshooting.Until last fall, my home library (80 GB of mp3s) played just fine. Suddenly (sometime between October and November 2024), songs would play about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way through and then skip to the next, sometimes it would play just a few seconds. Sometimes it just stops playing altogether. It will be fine for a few songs and then all of a sudden start skipping. It seems to get worse, skipping sooner and more often (until I get annoyed and turn it off). It ONLY affects playing songs from my iTunes music library. There have been no other issues with any other service, including Sonos Radio, Amazon, Spotify; they all play just fine.My system includes 2 x Play:5, 2 x Play:3, Play:1, Sonos Move. I removed the Sonos Bridge during troubleshooting.I have Sonos S1 Controller installed in Win 11 Home (i7-8700 CPU@ 3.

After the last update, my Sub G3 that I use with my ARC now sounds weaker and I have to increase the volume of the sub from the application when before I didn't even have to do it. The worst part is that if I turn off the Sub G3, the ARC sounds with more bass than the Sub itself.

I am heavily invested in Sonos, but I’ve just about had enough with it. I have probably spent in total several weeks of my life trying to fix random issues with it.The latest issue I have, I bought an Arc Ultra and 2 Era 300s to go in my lounge to replace an existing arc and 2 One SLs. They would not connect, lots of issues, hours on the phone to support (which by the way I’m STILL waiting to hear back from with a solution!). After a bit of Copilot help, I think i fixed the issue, which was to enable IGMP on my Draytek Vigour router. I thought I might have finally resolved the issue. However, this in turn has caused another issue, which is to stop a pair of Fives (and a Sub) set up in a stereo pair from working.One of the Fives connects and plays, but the other constantly shows as an issue annd no longer connected along with the Sub. Lost all connection on most Sonos 1 products play 1 , connect : amp , sub, boostNo changes to my network .now I am messages Incompatible equipment have always still been able to use my “legacy “ equipment … it would cost me a small fortune to replace 7 products to S2!any ideas on what to do ?  Or what changed with S1 products . thanks in advance 

Pandora always skips. I have a pandora app on my iphone and it plays perfectly there, but on sonos it plays 2-3 songs, gives an error and stops. Is anything wrong with sonos?

Well it has happened again.  Tunein will not work with sonos.  I have been having the problem for about a week now.  This happened about a year ago also.  Anytime I try to connect to any tune in station or podcast I get commercials on a loop. Deleting account, reathorizing does nothing.Same old sonos,  same old garbage !!

Hi Sonos,I’m experiencing the same issue that user CarlDemus mentioned with the Sonos Arc.I honestly didn’t expect this kind of sound quality concern from Sonos. Compared to my 65" Samsung TV speakers, the Arc’s sound comes across as thin. I really noticed the difference when I compared it side-by-side with my Bose Smart Soundbar 700. The Bose was connected using an optical cable, and the Sonos Arc through HDMI eARC, so I could switch between them instantly.To be honest, the difference is significant. At 40% volume on the Bose and 75% on the Sonos Arc, the Bose still sounds fuller and richer. It makes me wonder if my Sonos Arc might be defective. One night, I turned off the Arc and continued watching using the TV’s built-in speakers — and the TV sounded louder and more present. That was extremely disappointing, especially after seeing so many positive reviews online.At this point, I’m frustrated and unsure if this is a unit issue or a general sound profile characteristic of the Arc. Sub mini is connected but no sub sound connected to Sonos Beam gen 2

I have a big elongated room with 6 speakers (high school youth group room). There's an 85in TV on one side of the room. We are running the 6 50w speakers off the sono amps (3per channel). Does it make sense to add a Sonos Beam under the TV to use exclusively for TV sound and let the Sonos Amp power the 6 overhead for music/etc?

I was listening this morning when the speakers made a pop/crackle sound and audio stopped. Receiver still plays with other inputs or apple air play. So it’s the port unit. I need suggestions on trouble shooting the port device.

I had long ago set up two Sonos households with the same email, and they have the same account number. (They are located on different physical networks). This used to be allowed, but causes problems these days (eg Alexa).Today, it is causing me problems, as I moved my Roam and Move to one of these households (from another household) and now they refuse to Register (due to the upnpovertls quarantine problem). Additionally, the Privacy & Security settings show wrong, and do not let me change Authorization, UPNP and Guest options.I tried changing the email address from my phone, thinking this might “split” my account, but it has made zero difference to the app, and the devices still refuse to register.Can anyone here help me? I’m not confident that regular support will even understand if I call in, this is hardly a mainline scenario. I am looking at changing my TV currently I have a Samsung QLED and recall when first linking it up to Sonos it was quite a chore. I have heard Sony is the best for Sonos for ease and quality would this be true.

Hi All, Last week I received a Refurbished Sub Mini from Sonos (ordered directly from Sonos). This was added to my current Sonos Beam 2 + 2x Sonos Era 100s setup.Within minutes of getting it all configured, I noticed a deep popping noise coming from the Sub. This occurs randomly (I have got a couple of videos), but I’d say on average once every 5 minutes. It doesn’t seem to correlate to any particular music or sound and occurs via TV connection, AirPlay and even when the Sub is not playing any sound (but still connected and on). I have done all the usual troubleshooting attempts, such as;Changing Network ChannelDisabling 5GHZ on the router (using only 2.4GHZ)Hard wired the Sonos Beam 2 via ethernet to ensure the Beam and Sub are connected via SonosNet (WM0)Turned off multiple times via plugRemoved from Sonos app and reinstalledChanged Sub placementReset all EQ setting etc Despite trying all of the above, the annoying popping noise continues.Before I return the Sub Mini, are there any f

I picked up a Play:1 at Goodwill for the low price of $20 (kind of a steal noting how much they go for online), but if the speaker is above 45% volume on most songs, it loses bass and goes completely flat. I'm guessing that the speaker is worn out from age, so what's some recommended speakers to take it's place, or repair options?

Hi all,Sorry if this topic has been covered already but I’m getting so many conflicting instructions and advice and nothing has worked or been clear. I recently bought a Samsung S90F and wanted to connect it up to my existing Sonos Playbar via Optical cable - sound comes through on all devices but I can’t change the volume or mute. I’ve tried setting the Sonos up on the TV as a Home Theatre and assigning it as the output, with the TV sound also as Optical - still no success. I’ve gone through the Sonos App to add my remote control using their instructions but it never recognises the remote (its that one that uses solar to charge). I’ve read multiple conflicting articles on the remote being RF and Bluetooth to it being IR and RF and with the Playbar being IR only, perhaps this could be the issue.  I appreciate any suggestions on whether this connection is possible and if so, how? Am I doing something wrong, missing a step or need an addition “thing” to make it work. Thanks in advance
