I have two Play 3 (Gen 1) and two Play 1 (Gen 1) speakers.  I tried connecting everything at my new home in Medellin Colombia and the Play 1 speakers connected perfectly. The Play 3 speakers won’t. I tried the factory reset, ethernet connection to the modem, unplugging, everything….. Play 3s are simply NOT CONNECTING.  They worked perfectly at my home in Houston recently

Moderator Edit - Translation by Google

Hi,having a complete nightmare, setup a Sonos Beam Gen 2 with no problem attached via HDMI on a Samsung TV.  All works fine on its own controlling tv and channels, sounds good.    however i cant add my 2 older Sonos Play:1 as surrounds, what am i doing wrong?just cant get the beam to find them or link up?

I have a new beam 2 and freestyle projector connected by micro hdmi - e arc  it works well together after a while - but getting connection AGAIN once devices turned off is my  issue As it works eventually this is clearly my failing but I really need a list of steps to follow -  on occasion the beam doesn’t see the hdmi e arc connection- once it said there is something interfering ?

When I play music from my Brennan B3 through my Sonos Roam SL speaker the name of the individual song isn’t shown. Can this be done ?

I have an LG BX OLED TV and a Beam connected via HDMI ARC, and I also use Sony Bluetooth headphones. Every time I try to play TV audio through Bluetooth, it switches back to ARC after 2 seconds. The only solution I’ve found is to physically disconnect the HDMI cable from the Beam, but that’s obviously not ideal. Turning off HDMI-CEC (Simplink on LG TVs) has been suggested, but it doesn’t really solve the problem because Simplink and HDMI-CEC keeps reactivating automatically. This forces me to go into the connection menu repeatedly to disable it, which is frustrating. The fact that this issue persists after years is unacceptable. The Beam and the TV keep prioritizing ARC, completely ignoring the user’s preference to play audio through Bluetooth. It’s infuriating that neither LG nor SONOS has addressed this problem properly. If I want to use Bluetooth headphones to avoid disturbing others in the room, I shouldn’t have to deal with my soundbar reconnecting to ARC and blasting sound at f

Hi Sonos Team, I recently purchased a Sonos HD Radio subscription and am impressed with the audio quality and it’s fantastic! However, I’ve noticed that the service announces the station name in between songs. While I understand the intent, this feature can feel a bit disruptive in certain settings, like when hosting guests or a party. Switching to Spotify avoids this, but it does make me question the value of maintaining both subscriptions. Is there a way to disable these announcements for a more seamless listening experience? Thank you for your time and support!

I’ve been using my Sonos system primarily for music, but I’m now setting it up for home theater use. I’m looking for tips on how to get the best sound quality for movies and TV shows. Specifically, what settings or configurations in the Sonos app should I adjust for enhanced surround sound? Any recommendations for additional Sonos components (e.g., soundbars, subwoofers) that would improve my home theater experience would be greatly appreciated

I’ve had two Sonos sl 1 speakers for about two years and I’ve hardly ever had them both working.I have one in the kitchen and the other one in the living room. I constantly have to sort out one by doing a reset I’ve also rang up someone at Sonos who got both working for a while. Now if I get say the kitchen going the living room one stops working it seems I can only have one at a time working could someone help please. I want to subscribe to apple music and get a roam but won’t until I get this sorted.RegardsBruce

I have a Beam and 2 Sonos Ones all on S2 app. When I try to add sub mini it keeps saying that the system has been added but may not appear... But it never appears. Have reset the mini and tried to add it on multiple times via phone and tablet but no joy. Any idea how I can add it?

I like the overall sound quality from my Sonos One and Sonos Move speakers. However, the volume levels change dramatically from song to song. I use Alexa voice service and Apple Music streaming. Why hasn’t Sonos implemented volume leveling???

Since Yesterday I have lost Partielly then completely all connections to Google assistant. It stated from 1 of my Sonos One, then it extended to a Roam.... I restarted my router and all devices but no joy.It king of worked with e Roam for a minute then went south again after I reconnected a One...Removed all links to Google assistant in Sonos and Google Home.BTW, Google Home only sees a few Sonos devices, not all of them.... Odd.I have then tried to add the service back but it just never manage to do it First attempt after phone reboot takes me to home assistant config and it ends-up not finding any device. If I try again, the Google assistant never shows again, there seems to have a hidden window of it but nothing I do can make it show. I tried this on 2 different android phones, same results. I am now stuck with no assistant at all. Alexa won't activate and So is assistant just did not want to finalize the setup either..… Seriously WTF is goi g onnat SONOS. The giant  connected speaker

Have had a sonos system for close to 10 years, never had an issue until this new app upgrade. I can connect the Sonos Move and Roam without any issue. Everytime I open the app they are there. As for the 3 off Play 1, Play 3 and the Playbar. I am now well sick to the back teeth of the system finding the speakers after I have reset them then sometimes they connect and then just disappear. For the first time this very evening, and trying to connect the Playbar, it does the same procedure, after a reset, the system finds the Playbar, it connects and finally joins to the network, all good, it then it tries to an update and for the first time I get an error message which says that the speaker is connected but wont show as the update as not worked and until the playbar is updated it wont connect. No idea now how to resolve this issue. I am hoping it is a simple fix and that this will help with the other speakers connecting.

I know this has come up before but having followed all the suggestions and apparent "solutions" I'm still stuck with this issue. And I am going to give a far more detailed breakdown of what I've tried/what I am able to get to until I hit a wall and I definitely haven't seen any of this info elsewhere (I did look all over, both here & with Amazon)I have not been able to properly link my Amazon Music Unlimited subscription - I can't manage the library, I can't search/add to library/like or dislike etc, can't control playlists. It does show me my library and I can keep it playing (because in the backend, somewhere, it must show I have a subscription) but basically it's linking a "Prime Music" free or stripped-down version because it's linking to an American Amazon.com domain, and I DO have an Amazon.com account (I was on there back before they even had a UK domain to speak of) and I am also an Amazon Prime member in the UK. This covers audible as well I suppose - I unlinked Audible an

My Sonos Move has gone to sleep mode and can't get it on. I'm in a different location with a different network. How do I factory reset from my Android?

Is it possible to have more than one system owner for all sonos devices in the house? If so how do I do this?

Ik heb een Marantz model CR611 die ik graag zou willen koppelen aan mijn Sonos one speakers Iemand een idee welke mogelijkheden er zijn?

I have a Sonos Beam gen2 and a Move Gen 1. I’d like to use them wireless with a Pioneer DJ PLX500 turntable ( RCA output ). At the moment Beam gen 2 is connected via optical cable to a LG Tv set. Thanks for your help

I use Pocket Casts as a mobile app and on Sonos. On the App I get UK relevant Ads, but on SONOS I get US relevant (UK irrelevant) Ads. Is there any way to switch that? Can't really be doing it for the advertisers!

Hi all,Hoping someone can help. I have the sonos arc ultra, roam 2 and three of the era 300 speakers. They all set up fine, connected to wifi etc, and Alexa works fine. However, if I try to add sonos voice assist I get an error message saying that there is “still a problem adding Sonos Voice Control.” This occurs on all devices. They are all showing up as connected to the WiFi. I’d prefer to use the sonos voice control over using Alexa for privacy reasons, and it’s really frustrating me! The app was only downloaded yesterday and is definitely OS S2. I’ve tried rebooting everything, mics are on, Alexa works perfectly. Not sure where to go from here. Thanks!Charly

I’ve been getting the “Unable to play X, It’s not encoded correctly” message while playing songs from Apple Music and saw that it was because some of my older songs have DRM and there’s nothing Sonos can do about it.  That makes sense.  What doesn’t make sense is that this message popped up on Sonos’ own audio product.  “Unable To Play Sonos Radio, It’s Not Encoded Correctly”.  This makes no sense at all and tells me this whole problem is with Sonos and not Apple Music.  Can a fix for this be on the way?  Please?Using the Sonos app on an iPad.

I just bought 2 Sonos 100 era speakers I want to use with a vintage Realistic amplifier, which is already hooked up to a vintage turntable-all working fine. I understand I need the Sonos inline adapter BUT I can’t figure out what RCA cord I need and where to plug it into the receiver. I’m seeing cords like a splitter with four male RCA plugs and a single 3.5mm jack that I thought might work. But then reading a few posts talking about using ‘Tape out’ port? Now, I’m just confused. Bottom line is to achieve stereo sound. Ive included pics of the manual. Any help would be appreciated!
