Connected my 2016 player, base and 2 play one speakers to a new Sony Bravia 8 tv. Worked great for 30 minutes then when I adjusted the volume down using the phone app sound became a choppy clucking noise. 

Hello. I can't seem to connect the line-in connected to my Port to play from my speakers in the living room (Allrum). It only seems to play to the Port itself but I want to make it play from the speakers. Ive tried pressing the line-in from "Your Sources" but nothing happens, it only wants to play from the "Port" room. I'm pretty new to this so maybe im missing something obvious but I've tried most possible solutions and tried look through the line-in settings in the app. The user manual doesn't really give any help. Any help would be much appreciated! 

I have just opened the app (android) and all the services I installed like TuneIn, Spotify, Amazon Music are missing. If I try to add them again, I get a "something went wrong" message.I restarted my phone & that has not helped.  Currently, I only have a Play1, a Connect and a bridge active on the system.

My system with play1 and Sonos 5 gen1 stopped working and now when I try to connect to WiFi it doesn’t work. Tried with cable and it doesn’t work.  what can I do?

They made me buy a new router to my home and I can’t connect my play:3 and symfonik bookshell speakers to new wifi. The app on my iPhone does not find the speakers, it only says that can’t find a speakers.So i reset the speakers, no help there, put a ethernet cable in and one of the speakers, play:3 starts playing, ok , that's good, but the app won’t still find it and when I unplug the ethernet cable music stops.Elisa, finnish company says that the problem is with Sonos because my speakers are so old and the new router is new, top of the line product with 5g and 5 giga system…What I can do next?

I've had an S1 so no system of five components for 15 or more years and it's been wonderful.  Two months ago I got a Sonos Arc for a new TV in a single room and have not even used the S2 app to play music on that system, and my S1 system has been working fine the whole 2 months.  I have not updated any app or component, as far as I know.  But just now, my S1 app can only see the Arc and wants me to download the S2 app.  I've heard about all the mess with the S2 app upgrades in the past 6 months, and have not had to deal with them because I only use the Arc with the TV.  Now this?  Help!

I have my own app working and can access some upnp services.  Can play, pause, adjust volume so far.  But the zonegrouptopology return method not allowed.  Tried both post and get.  Also having same issue with browse.  Any help would be appreciated. 

I have a new Sub Mini. I have added it to my system and it shows up as Sub Mini not assigned. If I go the room I have named Library the App tells me I have a stereo pair consisting of a Play 1 left and a Play 1 right. I also have a box which says Connect Sub + and Remove Sub X. If I press Connect Sub I get a new window which says “Let’s add a sub to Library” I then click on Continue. I then get a picture of a Sub Mini and I I am asked to select the sub. I then collect on select. I then get another picture of a sub mini and a box which is a long horizontal slit. A black line Strats to go across and then the screen changes and the message “There was a problem adding your Sub Mini. Check the network connection and make sure that your subject is powered on.” Underneath is a big exclamation mark ! in a circle. Below that a “Try again” button.   So, as far as I know the Sub Mini is on. It has a steady white light and my system can see it. I have no idea how to check my network connection but

Ok - so, when the revamped Android app was launched a few months ago at least I could use my system via the Windows desktop app or with an ipad.This is no longer the case. Every device I used to connect to my system and play music via my Sonos speakers is now useless. Will this nightmare be over any time soon? Or should I just burn those speakers? Is anyone still able to use their Sonos products?

I have multiple sets of speakers and soundbars.  I finish playing music in Room 1 - tap stop icon.  Later, I go to different room. Open AppSelect music/playlist... Option is Play - no way to say where... Now Playing is prior playlist and prior speakers. Seems a simple task for customers with multiple devices.  Any suggestions? 

Recently the sound on the Apple TV cuts out, but only music and background sounds, in movies/series. Works ok if setting the sound to Stereo on ATV. I have a set-up with ATV 4K, Arc, Sub (gen3), Amp (connected to in-ceiling Bose speakers). It’s not all shows or movies that have this issue. Netflix works ok. Appe TV+ not. How can I fix this?

18/10/24. My Windows controller has just updated and now access to Tidal is broken :-( It can search for artists and songs but not albums or playlists! To play an album, I have to search for a track and then the album appears and I can play tracks one by one but not the album as a whole. Other services (e.g. Plex) work OK. - and the Android app is working. Mark Enderby

Hello, new to the forum. I have a play one Sl that I can’t connect to my new router. I have other units that have paired no issue just this one. I have wired it in for the moment and works ok. However when I try to create a surround, I choose the speaker it’s playing from the app and the wireless one will not work and asks to add to the wifi network again. It will not add if the wired one is in. If I reset both then add the other play one it pairs ok. But still can’t pair the Sl, that has to go wired again. The system was all ok before I upgraded to the pro hub 2. I can play them all together no issue just this pairing issue that’s possibly causing the surround issue too? I have spoken both to Sonos and Vodafone but still getting no where. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated and sorry for the long postMany thanks

How does one Connect a DVD player to Sonos Beam 2. currently the DVD players connected to the TV. I would like to paly my music CD’s and hear the music on Sonos beam 2.Also in case I am watching a movie can I redirect the audio to Sonos Beam 2 Regards,Pat

Live radio stations keep disappearing and stop - start every time there is an app update. Cannot connect to tuner and in Australia TuneIn costs $$ - has Sonos completely disabled live radio?

I cannot get the Sonos App to open on my android phone.  I have unistalled, restarted my phone, reinstalled and still it sits at the opening black Sonos screen and goes no further.  I have uninstalled the app again, turned the phone off, restarted, reinstalled the app and still it does not work.Any suggestions?  I just want to be able to connect my Sonos One SL to the new WIFI connection.  Currently on Android Oxygen OS 11.1.10.10.AC01BA

I currently have a Sonos Arc, Roam, and a Boost - all of which worked seamlessly and consistently priori to the big app update last summer.The Arc has become particularly unreliable, and I’m hoping that this community may have a process to put it through which will resolve my issues.Note, I have troubleshot with Sonos team members and removed, and re-added the Arc multiple times.Sometimes, the Arc will simply not appear in my system. seems to be random, and resolve itself randomly as well Songs will stop playing from the Arc, but also when also playing from both the Arc and the Roam - however when playing the Roam alone, it never suffers from these issues The assistant listening mode will happen without anyone saying the hot word prompt. I’ve even disabled the mic in hopes to resolve this issue, but the listening mode still happensLots of issues here - could all be related or just individual items to resolve.

Hi,I have a Sonos system since 2010 and I have friends who asked me to recommend them an audio system and a TV sound bar.  They bought an Arc, Sub mini, Play 5 and one Era 100.  I have ripped all their CD collection and it works well.  They group all their speakers including the Arc and Sub mini when listening to music and when they turn on the TV, the ARC automatically starts playing the TV audio and the ARC drops off the group playing the music.  This works well, but it would be even better if the Arc software could detect when the TV is turned off and reconnects to the group it was originally part of.  This was previously asked 3 years ago on the forums by somebody else.  Maybe it could be an addition to the new software?  Is there an easy way to regroup the ARC to the original group if this cannot be done automatically? I am still on S1 with my personal setup, so I am not familiar with the new options available… Thanks 

Hello,Currently doing electrical remodel for a customer and dabbling into speakers as i have installed sonos amps and speakers for customer but this remodel has me hesistant. As this customer wants to use existing speaker throughout house. The house has over 22 speakers which each room has a a wall volume control as two speakers in each room will run to volume control then ran to media center in living room(speaker wire 16/4 and ethernet). I want to split house into 6 zones, listed below. Basically asking could i just have the wire ran from volume control wired straight into the amp or would i have too disconnect volume control(outdated i believe) and run new wires from each speaker to new amp?Trying to avoid running new wires to existing speakers, but am fine doing so if needed. Just confused if I’m over thinking and the volume control is just something that can coexist and use the speaker wire/ethernet ran back to the media center. Living room(4 speakers)Kitchen/Dining(4 Speakers)Bed

I have a Sonos amp connected to 4x Architectural ceiling speakers and a Sonos amp. The speakers work quite well but lack a little bass. As soon as the amp is added to the system, the equaliser and fader no longer work. 

I’ve experienced something strange with my sub and arc speakers recently. Whilst watching TV, a loud cracking sound is emitted from my Sonos speaker, one that resembles a loose connection in a conventional speaker. If first happened with my sub two days ago then again today but on the arc. My speakers are wired using WiFi except for the arc which has an Ethernet cable. I’ve recently moved houses and thus had to redo my network connection. The shift seemed seamless and I was able to connect the tv and speakers without much of a problem. Has anyone experienced the same? 

I am no longer getting audio from my One SL surrounds or our Sub. All audio from the TV comes through the Arc only. Oddly, streaming music directly to the Living Room setup plays audio through all devices. Same with using our Port to play records. Everything works. It’s just TV audio that will not play through the 3.1 system. This only started recently. Nothing about our setup has changed. Everything is connected to the same network. Everything shows as connected in the Sonos app. Any ideas?

After the recent update, my Sonos app on my Mac, and my iPhone, has lost my music library.So I followed these instructions:https://support.sonos.com/en-gb/article/share-your-macos-music-folder-with-sonosAnd these:https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/add-your-music-library-to-sonosAnd none of it works.The Mac Sonos app gives me ‘error 913’ after I browse to my music folder.If I try on the iOS app instead, that gives me ‘Access is denied’.I’ve set all the file sharing correctly, I’ve set permissions on the folder and drive, I’ve confirmed that it’s set to SMB sharing. I’ve even turned on guest sharing, just in case.Nothing.I changed some folder names along the path, removing spaces. Now I get a different error on the Mac app: (1001). This is getting incredibly frustrating. Can anyone help?
