Hey It would be great if you could at 4/5/7 speakers to create a better surround experience rather than relying on the soundbar. 

I see requests and non-committal responses regarding voice control for BBC sounds going back many months. Surely this is a central service for many users, in the UK at least. Is there any likelihood that Sonos will get round to supporting this in the foreseeable future?

The function to shuffle a selected playlist for an alarm is missing from the new app.  As a result, my alarm plays the same songs every day instead of playing different songs from my playlist.  Can this change be included in a future update please?

I just purchased a Sonos Beam Gen 2. I did but it used and noticed it was already setup to another system so I performed a factory reset and tried setting it up with my Sonos app. I got to where it says "Your Beam has been added, but may not appear in your System. If so, unplug the power cord and plug it back in to finish setup from System Settings." I've followed the steps and cannot seem to get it to work or show up in my app. The Beam does have a solid white status light on. My wifi situation is not ideal as I am in a college dorm with shared WiFi. The network is private and does not require a username, just a password.  

,: Greetings, all. I am a guitarist who recently purchased a “TuneBoy” - A Portable Rechargeable 5W Mini Guitar & Bass Practice Amp with Clean/Distortion Channels & Bluetooth 5.0. I can pair it with my iPhone or iPad. But from there, I have no clue how to pair it with my Sonos system (Arc SL, two One SL’s). Just wondering if anyone knows how to pair a non-Sonos device like this mini-amplifier to one’s Sonos sound system. Any and all ideas and suggestions would be very welcome indeed.

I'm trying to decide the best placement for my Sonos Era 300 speakers, and I'd like your input. Here's my current setup: I have the Arc, Sub, and two Era 300 speakers replacing my previous Sonos One speakers for surround sound. The blue circles indicate where my current Sonos Ones are positioned.For the Era 300s, I'm considering the following placement options:1. Green circles: Slightly above ear level when seated on the couch.2. Red circles: Higher up, angled downward towards the couch.Which placement do you think would deliver the best sound experience? 

 Hello,I’m having some issues with my audio setup and am wondering if anybody’s able to support me. I’m not an expert but will explain the setup along with the issues I’m experiencing. Please let me know if more information is needed and I’ll answer.I use a Sonos 5.1 surround sound system (Beam gen 2 soundbar.My TV only has 1 HMRC ARC port. The Beam is connected to this.A non-ARC HDMI port on my TV is then connected to this splitter as the input.The below devices are connected to it as outputs. I can see what type of audio is being received and played on my system via the Sonos app:Apple TV (Dolby Digital 5.1)PS5 (Dolby Digital 5.1 )Nintendo Switch (Stereo PCM)Windows 11 PC (Stereo PCM)My main priority is fixing the Windows PC to output 5.1. Before the new app, I was able to listen to my home music library which was kept on a usb hard drive that was attached to a D-Link router. The music library is about 125 GB and consists of around 25,000 files (a mix of mp3 song files, as well as a few jpg for album art, plus each song had an .info file associated with it). Everything played well. I mostly avoided the debacle of the new app rollout as I disabled all software/firmware updates, but unfortunately a firmware update made it through anyway, so I had to update to the new app, rendering my music library unreachable; I believe the issue was the smbv1 was no longer supported with my router. So, I recently updated my router to a TP-Link that also had a usb port so I could continue using the external hard drive I had my music on. Long story short - I can only add a total of 20GB of my original music library.If I try to add the whole folder in one shot, it seems like it’s doing something for about 10 minutes, then I get an error say

I already have a pair of Ones with beam 2 and sub. My question is can I add a pair of era 100s to this set up or would I have to replace the ones with the era 100s

I’m thinking of buying 2 Ace headphones and i have 2 ultra soundbars at home. One in the basement and one in the living room. Will there be any interference of sound if both are on at the same time? Is this connection (ace to ultra) Wifi or bluetooth? Thanks

sonos amp dose not work with CUBY mesh system 

Just wanted to confirmed if I were to have 4 ROAM 2 speakers connected on the same WIFI network that they could play the same music at the same time? We have clinic and would like to put one speaker in the main area and then one in each of our 3 treatment rooms and play the same music at the same time during business hours.

For the folks that have Sonos Era 100 and doesn’t have any wifi issues, may I ask what wifi mesh system you have? I currently have Netgear nighthawk mesh system and it could be that my mesh system is not compatible with my Era 100s and this is after trying different ways to get running. I also have the Era speakers on static ip which work for a bit till it doesn’t or every time I reboot my router.  Also, my older Sonos devices works fine under my current wifi system. 

I have a Port connected to my Preamp, which is connected to my Amp, a Sub, and 2 speakers. I also have a turntable w/a Turntable Preamp, and a CD player. I currently use the Port as a streamer for the  majority of listening. The sound is good, but lately I find I want to adjust the tone of the music, as previously my integrated amp did that. What component(s) should I consider (besides tube rolling on my Preamp) for adjusting tone? Should I add another DAC? An equalizer of some kind? Forget about the Port? Any and all suggestions are welcome!

I switched to a new phone, iPhone 15. The system cannot be found on Sonos app. I removed and downloaded the Sonos app, ios is up to date, and network is the same. Sonos system still works normally on my old phone and my spouse’s phone. Any tips for fixing this? 

It’s now late November and I am still having big delays, occasional speaker dropout and in inability to connect to my Sonos system via the app. this all went really bad after the infamous big app update.Is anybody else still having these issues? And is there any communications coming from Sonos about this? I’ve gone all in on a lot of Sonos kit around my house and the experience, when you consider the cost, is terrible. At times, it’s just not possible to play music, or change the music, to change the volume, or even stop/start it. It’s so frustrating. Seeing the marketing all over the place, which claims to be a premium system, just rubs it in.

I inherited five Sonos Play speakers from my father, who recently died. Would love to be able to use the speakers but the app won’t let me until I’ve logged in as the owner. I’ve tried factory-resetting, assuming I would then be able to take over as the owner (I don’t have the UN and PW info), but I never get the green light. Any ideas how to get them to work?

I have built a new barn and looking for recommendations for a Sonos setup. The area overall is 48’ x 48’  with 17’ Ceilings. In that 48x48 area there is a 12x 24 area under a loft for a tv/entertainment area then the other 12x24 area attached to that is an office and bathroom. I’m looking to have a entertainment area sound hooked to the tv sound with my current Sonos Ray, however when i want music I’m looking for recommendation on the larger area and looking to be loud. Also Have a 12’ x 48’ porch outdoor area i would want speakers for as well.Any help is much appreciated.

Hi, I have an Arc Ultra + Sub Mini + 2 x Ones.Yesterday my son while we was listening music, put the volume to 100% with an Alexa command.It was only some seconds, but, do you think could have damaged the speakers somehow?Thanks!

Bit of an odd question.In my living room I have a projector and both a sonos 5.1 set up (Beam gen 1, symfonisk bookshelf rears, sub gen 2) AND a Denon AVR 5.1 with five ceiling mounted speakers.We mainly use the sonos sytem because the ceiling one is really loud in the small children’s bedrooms. My Denon AVR is really old and has only one HDMI input so I have a separate HDMI matrix for all my inputs - apple TV, firestick, XBOX etc.I send the audio signal to both set ups and to the projector using this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0B4PPH211/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1I am considering getting a new AVR, a DenonX3300W that has lots of HDMI inputs and still using the above audio extractor for the sonos beam, so I can choose between the two surround sound systems.But what I can’t work out - the only way to use the Sonos system would be to have the AVR volume turned all the way down, and then turned up on the Sonos Beam. Hi there. This issue has been driving me nuts!! And is about to cause me to abandon my entire Sonos echo system and switch to Apple Homepods!! And I have yet to hear a solution from Sonos! (or from other community members on here..)The issue of NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE my recently played songs (played on Apple Music - in its own native app on my ios device) “inside” the Sonos App!  When you are out and about, in the gym, or on the bus etc.. and listen to and discover some new music on Apple Music (while listening via your headphones), and then come back home and be able to continue listening to those albums on your Sonos products. While I do appreciate the great integration of the Apple Music service with the Sonos app, this “missing feature”  has been a HUGE issue for me.  One might say, you just have to “favorite those songs”… But they have not become my favorites yet. I’d like to listen to them a few more times before marking them as such, or before adding them to a playlist.  Any insi

Is the available content on all of these platforms limited in supply to Sonos?I maybe can find an episode or two of a podcast, but can’t drill down into the full season list for example. And if I play them through my browser (directly in Spotify or BBC Sounds where I can find them) I can’t push them out to my Sonos system as Spotify itself will only seemingly find Bluetooth devices and BBC sounds doesn’t offer this at all.
