Hello,I am trying to set up Amazon Alexa on my Sonos Era 100, but I am encountering an issue during the configuration process. When I try to link Alexa to my Sonos speaker, instead of being redirected to the Amazon login page as expected, I only see an informational message. I am unable to complete the login process and link my Amazon account to Sonos.

Hi, iam trying to set up a Sonos network, so that a wired play 1 is broadcasting a network for another play 1 wireless, a Move and a Move 2 also both wireless through the S2 app with iPhone. The reason for this, is that every time the 4 speakers are set up I lose 100 mgbs down load speed from my already limited 148 mgbs total speed.   Firstly is this possible secondly the support notes to do this are either dated or completely wrong, so can some direction to the correct info if it’s known.      Many thanks in advance

Sonos can’t find (any) new products. Tried to set up ERA 100 speakers by signing in to my previous S1 account. Downloaded new app for S2, but it doesn’t find any products.

I recently bought the Arc Ultra mini sub and two Era 100 speakers. I use the Era 100s as surround speakers, but will their lack of Dolby Atmos support impact the overall surround sound experience?

I have given up waiting for Sonos to resolve the album fragmentation issue and I thought I would go to the effort of correcting the tags myself to resolve the issue.On the source material the albums have the correct Artist names on each track and Album Name but “Album Artist” is blank. I tried putting “Compilation” in the Album Artist tag as some have suggested. This resolves the fragmented Album representation in Sonos but I notice that this then creates another issue; The Artist is no longer searchable (even though it is correct on each song and appears correctly in the info display).   All the Artists appear under a new “Compilation” Artist. This is sub-optimalHas anyone found a solution for the fragmented album issue that retains the ability to identify and search on each individual artist?   

Hi all looking for some help on how to get a 5.1 working (I think I know answer but would like confirm) current items:Sonos Beam Gen 1Sonos Sub Gen 2Sonos One SL (two) I tried to add two sonos era 100’s today but obviously they didn’t add to the beam gen 1 system on my tv since it only supports 2 speakers.  Question is, if get a new beam, will that solve my issues?  Will I be able to then do the 5.1 system? thoughts and insights appreciated.  thanks!

Usually I could play on Spotify and my Sonos app would automatically detect it, so my current Spotify song would also appear in the Sonos App and vice versa.Since the last update, it seems Sonos doesn't recognize it anymore and both apps have parallel sessions running. This results in the Sonos speakers not being able to be controlled properly, unless I enter the Sonos app and "re-start" the music accessing through its own app. This seems to be an issue only since the last Sonos update

What is the difference between the Sonos Amp v1 and v2? I have a set of in ceiling speakers but the previous owner of my flat took the Amp so they don’t work and I don’t think I can afford a brand new V2 Amp. Would a Gen 1 Amp do the same job?

On a Samsung smartphone with stylus such as the Galaxy S23 Ultra, just hovering the stylus over the volume slider at the bottom of the main app screen causes the full volume control pane to appear. This is very annoying. Please turn this off. If I want to open the full volume control pane I will tap on the volume slider. Hovering is not clicking.Build 80.14.06-release+20241206.affe3de

However, I’ve noticed that the system doesn’t currently support DTS-HD or DTS:X formats, which are still prevalent in Blu-rays and high-quality media content.Are there any plans to include DTS-HD and DTS:X support in future updates, or is this a limitation tied to hardware or licensing considerations? I have recently spent a lot of money in India buying the Sonos Beam 2 about 3 months ago as well as the Sub Mini just 3 days ago. I successfully set up the Bheem two and connected it to my Samsung Frame 65. No problem, fantastic sound!! Now to pair the two speakers and to get my subwoofer to work, it has been a complete nightmare. The App just does not work. It keeps taking me around in circles and constantly indicates a failure. Every attempt to pair the two and get my Sub for to work has been a disaster for 3 full days. One minute, it will show the system, both speakers, five minutes later. It will show there is no system. It is completely erratic and refuses to update my system software. My Internet Wi-Fi is excellent. I use it for everything. Being a photographer I own an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max and I have Fiber optic Broadband. I really need a solution to just link the sub to the beam without using the app. Please help, I am getting desperate and very, very frustrated. I have trie

With a new setup of Arc ultra, 2 era 300 and a sub4, I only got sound from the arc ultra.Reset the era 300s and the sub and the arc ultra with out getting any surround. The setup of the components went fine, but only arc ultra gave sound. I put the sub 4 on ethernet, but no differance. As a last try, I put the arc ultra on ethernet cable too, and it all worked. Not sure why, but the cables made the system work.

New W11 laptop - download and install latest Windows Sonos app from Downloads | Sonos follow installshield prompts but it gets stuck in check for updates loop, even though updates are installed and I’ve clicked “Done”. App unusable as can’t do anything but check for updates again. haven uninstalled and reinstalled with same result.

Here’s my setup:Playbar 2 symfonisk speakers Apple TV & projectorI’m running a projector in my living room and have it connected to an Apple TV. I’m using the symfonisk to stream airplay 2 to my playbar. I’d love to use the symfonisk speakers as surrounds to the left and that right, but when I do that I lose the ability to connect them to the playbar. Anyone have any ideas of how to make that work? Or something easy to add to the system to make it work? 

Hello Im trying to get my Amp to use trueplay for my in wall sonance architectural speakers. I can hear the shrill noise but then it says No Sonos Architectual speakers detected. I bought these from the sonos website. I'm using 16 gauge wire.  Any advice to troubleshoot?

I have my sonos system that I’ve had for years connected to my Synology NAS drive. I control the system through S1. I recently got roam 2 that I was hoping to easily add to my existing system but have found out that this can’t be done. I’ve had to download the latest Sonos app and control it through that. I also can’t find out how to connect this ‘new’ system to my NAS drive to play my stored music. Is there any way my roam can be connected to my existing system or do I need to use it as a standalone system? If so, how do I connect to my NAS drive? TIA, John

I have just the bar in a small room when playing games back ground sounds like weather and any ambient audio is very quiet. When using atmos there is no directional audio it sounds flat in fact the atmos when i unhook the bar sounds better on my LG C1 and it even has some directional audio. Yet when i watch the same game on youtube the sonos beam sounds amazing even has good virtual surround i am so confused how a game sounds terrible from source with no directional audio and on youtube sounds great with pinpoint directional audio. Example: Battlefield 5 when i play it on xbox i can only just hear footsteps and when i do you have no idea what direction they are coming from. Now when i watch someone play it on youtube and any other game you can hear em clear as day and the whole game is surround sound it fills my room with sound this is so backwards ii bet you all don't believe me or know how to help.

I was wondering if Trueplay compatibility will be added for the recently released iPad Mini (A17 Pro)?It’s not stated on the supported devices page as unsupported, but Trueplay does not work at the moment on the device.

On the Mac Sonos Controller, in the right most column (Music Source), say if you’re already looking at tracks inside an album and you want scroll to see more songs below (2-finger up motion on the trackpad, which is Mac’s default “Natural Scrolling” setting), if your fingers drifts to the right side while moving upwards, the app immediately takes you back one level up - back to the album level, as if you’ve pressed the < button. The same is true whatever you’re scrolling through, e.g. it would go from album back to artist, playlist back to streaming service, etc. Typically if an area can only scroll up or down, any left or right 2-finger motion is ignored (this is true for both Mac and Windows), this makes for very swift scrolling a flick action. This bug makes scrolling through anything much more laborious as you now have to be careful with the scrolling motion all the time! Could the dev team please take a look at the issue? I have just been given a Audio-Technica LP60XBTBK for Christmas and want to connect it to my system so I can play it throughout the house. I am confused on if I need a port or an amp or neither. Can anybody help please.

I was under the impression the new IKEA speaker would link to my aging Play 5 gen 1. The Play 5 only runs from the s1 app. This won't recognize the new Synfonisk gen 2 speaker. Any advice would be welcomed

This is a total joke...ive had a working system for ages, now Ive changed my WiFi password and downloaded the ‘latest’ sonos app. If i want to connect to the speaker to update the wifi pw using bluetooth, the app wants PRECISE  location, not just approx, ie my street..which i can see on the map, but it wants my damn house number using GPS/WiFi etc. jeez, just tell them where i hide the front door keys while we are at it... This is bull… there is NO REASON WHATSOEVER for an app to need precise location, unless its a gps app like navigation etc.I want to know WHY this is needed and HOW it could ‘impact’ the service. Knowing my street, suburb, city, country is fine with me, (and more than enough info) but even that is crap..so why does it need precise location??? I want a decent answer!Before the haters chime in..its rubbish what your going to say about, “thats what you have to do”, “go elsewhere”..bla bla… well you can provide what you want ...don’t force it on me.. this is basic privacy

I haven’t noticed if your company intends to reinstate “dual mono” on the Sonos app. I have a café that’s in need of dual mono setting for the Sonos One speakers that I already have in the location. On the verge of insanity here. I’ve upgraded all compatible products in my system (Play 1’s, arc) to the new S2 controller to have everything in one place. Plan was to leave my gen 1 Connect (which is incompatible with S2 controller) and Boost on the old app. After much effort I’ve managed to move everything I wanted to the new app. However when trying to now create a new system on S1 for the Connect/Boost I've ran into a wall. The Boost has connected fine, but when I tried to sort the Connect it just won't work. First my S1 app started crashing every time it asked me to enter the WIFI password when setting up Connect. Then when I tried on different device it just won’t work: app will run into problems due I think to WIFI connectivity. The infuriating part is that the Connect is in the exact same place it has been for years with no problems. I’ve tried everything: factory reset the connect, temporarily wire it to the router via ethernet cable and then move back once set up, but app sti
