how can I resolve this issue ? App tells me to finish the setup and when I click on it, it says not registered, when I start registration process I get this error. 

My partner is a big Sonos guy who has speakers setup around our house. He’s been talking about wanting a record player so naturally my thought was to get him one that integrates with his existing Sonos system as a gift. Problem is that I know nothing about Sonos and want to get him the right things without ruining the surprise by asking him, so here we are 🙂. A few questions if anyone could please provide some guidance like I’m 5 years old: is Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable the equivalent of a record player? there are three different “set” options (found here) but the description(s) are like a foreign language and the reviews are super confusing/contradictory… given the photos attached of what he currently has for his setup: which of the three packages do I need to get him for this to work out of the box?thank you so much!!! 

I think I’m getting close to finally connecting my main Sonos Music Library that resides on a 1TB Crucial X8 drive. After updating the speaker firmware and the Sonos S2 controller on our iMac (Sonoma OS), I was able to play music from the iMac controller but, when adding that library to the iOS app, I continually got the “Access Denied - Check User Name and Password.”With that being said, I’m assuming that I use the network path for that iMac and music folder, the user name for that iMac and, the password used to start up and access that iMac… correct? I’ve triple-checked those credentials and they seem correct. Unlike the links on a Sonos video link, I’m typing the network path thusly:  //Carols-iMac/Sonos Family Room   I’ve also seen “ \\ “ .  (As a point of clarification, Sonophone has no issue with this network path and I’m able to play my music via this method. Why can’t we adjust our own crossover? The Arc Ultra doesn’t hit as hard as the Sub 4. Why is the crossover set to 70 Hz?

Found my previously fine ZP90 flashing red indicating it needed  a reboot post upgrade (which I did not instigate). Rebooted it and now it’s dead. Plenty of comments going around about Sonos bricking old hardware, but nee to know if I’m missing something before considering the future. I have a mainly S1 system as it suits my needs. S1 was/is working fine on the rest of the devices, so maybe this is isolated, but this is the wired component and the rest is wireless from it. Doing the prescribed restart (hold in the mute whilst power on does nothing). LAN lights ok, but cannot connect via IP or LAN address. I’m an IT professional, so understand the network, architecture etc, so no, it’s not network related and only affects this item.  What next?

4 Sonos ports on managed switch experiencing drop outs. and If we attempt to play music in 3 zones, 1 zone will drop out.We have 4 ports that we want to play the same music through. lets call them 1,2,3,4.We cannot select all four, max 2. Got the Sonos Ace when it came out. Was able to connect fine to my Arc and eventually my two Beams (Gen 1) in various rooms when they updated the software. Haven’t used my headset in a while and just tried TV Swap and it won’t work. Every time I press the connect button and it makes the searching tone, it just plays a thud sound and reconnects to Bluetooth. I updated to the most recent software. I factory reset the headphones and added them back to my account. Still no luck. Anyone else having this issue and know a fix?   Continue to be disappointed with the new and improved Sonos. Had their system for over a decade and it was simply bulletproof. For the last year it’s been nothing but connection and software issues all the time. Amazing they could screw up such a good thing.

Unfortunately, since then whenever I use the console and then go back to use any TV App like Netflix or HBO the sound stutters for a second every minute or so. The only way to bring it back is to unplug all HDMI devices, turn off TV for a minute and same for Arc Ultra. What happens and how can I prevent that?Desirable solution:I want to use both TV apps and PS5 without any issues, still using Dolby Atmos on PS5 and also in my movies.

Since the May app upgrade I have almost abandoned my Sonos system . Th Sonos 1 app only sees 1 of my 5 units.  I have Sonos 2 app installed on another computer in my upstairs office and that sees 2 other units, but not the one seen by the Sonos1 app. I contacted support and then spent a long time rushing up and down stairs turning things off and on, all to no avail. Is there now a fix or is all this kit destined for the skip?I have 2 x Play 1’s as a pair in one room, 2 other Play 1’s in 2 different rooms and 1 Play 3 in another room.

When connecting the headphones to the TV will the TV still play through my other Sonos speakers? My wife is hard of hearing and want to her use the headphones while we are both watching TV

Sonos arc works thru the app when I play music but when I switch to TV it doesn’t play.  Just started happening.  I was able hear Sonos both thrust and music app via Sonos now nothing on the tv. 

Hello!I’m moving into a new place that has wired speakers throughout the house. The wall plate has a 3.5mm input that uses cat5 to a panel in the basement. The speakers then go from the panel to the rest of the house. The amp has the speaker connectors to output to the speakers but I can’t do that. So my question is, Can I use a 3.5mm to speaker wire adapter? Or can I go from speaker wire to RCA to 3.5mm jack?Thanks everyone!

Hi All, My Sonos system (Arc, Sub, 2x300’s) works perfectly. No issues there. I can log in to the app, again, no problem. However...I also have a pair of Ace headphones and while they are connected to the App, I cannot enable the handover feature from the Arc because it ask me to log in again (I am logged in!) and this is just a repeating cycle that never gets to the next step. So...given the issues a lot of folks have had, I am loathe to delete the App and try to start over to fix this. Is there a fix where I do not have to reset/delete?  Cheers! 

I have a controller on my iMac from the original Sonos 1 System. Does that system still work? I ask because it seems to be blocked and when I try to connect to my existing system (with 5 speakers) it can’t find them.PS. the controller on my iPhone continues to work fine.  So - should the controller on my iMac continue to work?  

Will the Arc soundbar link to my Sonos play:5.  For example if I were to purchase the Arc sound bar could I use my play:5 as surround sound.  Would they link together?

I have a somewhat old Amp that seems to have died a few days ago. I was listening to it one evening, and clicked the play / pause button to turn it off. The next day, it was dark and wouldn’t power up or connect. I reset it with the button on the back, and the light will come on and blink white for a while, which is encouraging at first. But then it goes dark. And if you press the play / pause button it will blink red three times, then go dark again.I suspect it is a brick. Looking around the internet, it looks like sonos does not do out of warranty repairs? Just trying to figure out my options here.

I know the upfiring speaker will be killed on sound damping roof. But do anyone have experence with turning the 300’s upside down. Will that work okay or will it not be the same?

I have been a KPIG listener for 15-20 years. Many know that KPIG was one of the very first streaming radio stations out of Santa Cruz.I have been a Sonos owner for 10 years. KPIG has always been wonderful. However, listening to KPIG is a challenge with the new updated Sonos App, combined with TuneIn radio requiring a subscription fee to listen to KPIG has made it difficult to listen to KPIG via Sonos. As it is at this moment, I have: Sonos on my MacBook with Sonos player v 16.4.2 And have the updated TuneIn Player on my MacBook. YES I can play KPIG from my computer. However I cannot initiate KPIG from my iPhone Sonos App. This is the Black Sonos App. It shows up in my favorites on my iPhone but I have to initiate it from the MacBook. I cannot initiate it from the iPhone. Please advise

The system stops playing every kind of music that I chose. After a few seconds it restarts playing. This happens about every 5 to 10 minutes. I can’t find any problems at my provider, so it looks that Sonos is the problem. Thus anyone now how to correct this problem. It happens sinds the last week. 

I ask Alexa on the Move to: “Set volume to level 4” - and when I test it, indeed it is OK.  But the next time I “Alexa” the volume is again way too load like before.  How can I get the Move to hold the volume to which it is set by Alexa??  Thank you.  Peter

I’m trying to add Alexa as a voice assistant to my ERA 100 but when it tries to sign me into Amazon it just buffers.  I’ve tried various suggestions like disabling the SONOs skill in the Alexa app, uninstalling the Amazon shopping app but nothing is working.   

Hello. My sonos play 1 speaker is not connecting to my computer. This is odd, because it randomly disconnected. I tried resetting and rebooting it, but nothing worked. It would be great if I could hear about a way to fix it. Thank you.
