Afternoon, Hopefully someone can help as I am about to tear my hair out. I have a Sonos one which has worked flawlessly for a number of years. I have just upgrade my router and this is where the problems have started. I performed a factory reset on the router. Go through the pairing, it sends the chimes and connects. I then get a message saying “the device may not initially show up in your device, you need to turn the power on and off again to complete the setup”. I do that but it never reconnects. Any ideas? Thanks for reading.

My Sonos Roam product goes through the add product process, and then when it goes to the final step of connecting to my wireless network it won’t connect. My other Sonos products all connected easily to my network. Any thoughts? I did a factory reset twice. 

Is there a way to deactivate the (terrible) smart shuffle feature via Spotify playlists? Or plans to release this option in a future version update?

Hello Sonos community, I am a dentist and I am building a new dental office and want to install Sonos S2 system in my clinic, about 12-15 speakers. Besides those I would like to install microphones that would allow me to call my asistants from each of the 6 operating rooms to 3-5 speakers that would be placed centrally in the hallway. The quality of the mic sound is not important, I just want to be heard. It may be a push to talk mic on the desk or wall, or better a mic that is activated without a button but when you speak close to it.Ex. I may be working in room 5 and would like to call one of my asistants to bring me something from the sterilisation room by pressing a button on the microphone on the desk and I would like my call to lower the volume of 3-5 Sonos speakers located in the hallway playing music and anounce my request. I would like to know if it is possible to connect a microphone in this way and if yes, how can I configure the microphone to the Sonos S2 system?

Hi,I just got an ARC (non-ultra) with my new LC C4 TV.ARC plugged into eARC (TV) and ethernet (Comcast router home network), and 2x Era 100 speakers added as surround (wifi to Comcast router)Sometimes the surround sounds very good - but often, there are phasing/echo/pulsing sounds through the surround speakers. It seems like it occurs when a new signal is sent, like if the surrounds join in with music in the audio track… it then smooths out a bit.My guess would be that every time a surround element is sent to the speakers, they have to catch up once again and it takes a few seconds, Any help appreciated!

I can’t access the app on any device, won’t font any products and it won’t update. tried everything I can think of and it still won’t work.

HiI used to have older sonos speakers from 2013. When I upgraded my home’s wifi, the speakers no longer worked. I decided it was time for an upgrade, so I got one Era 100 and one Era 300.Still, however, the new speakers refuse to work with my network. This is a 5 Ghz network that works with Spotify, Netflix, my work VPN. Some other details:Wifi 6, 5 ghz Security is WPA/WPA2-Personal I have an Android device running the latest version of the app. Have also tried iPhone.What should I look for in terms of compatibility? Hello, I want to connect my old 2 sonos play 1 to my turntable , i read that i have to connect them to a sonos connect : is it correct ? There is a preamp in the turntable . It s enough to listen the music this setup ? sonos play 1 + sonos connect + turntable AT-LP120XUSB = listen to the music ? I precise  i havent yet a sonos connect thank you for you help  

I have two Fives, standing up right, and had them paired when I got them. Wonderful. But then there were problems (not sure with the app or the speakers software), and they got separated. Now I have those two in the same physical room, bit now each have their own room label: office and living room. When I try to stereo pair them again, the app allows me to pair (adding this room to make a stereo pair with this room?), the app shows me to direct the phone tot the speaker that is making a sound. I select the left or right. It is configuered and then, when I want to play a song, only one speaker is playing, the one that I had to select. It seems not possible to stereo pair them again. I play them now combined instead of being a pair. But it frustrates me not being able anymore to get them in a pair. If someone had similar issues and got it solved, I would be grateful to hear the solution. Cheers!

I am trying to re-set up my SiriusXM on Sonos.  It worked fine previously, but I got a new router so I re-initialized Sonos.  Now, SiriusXM doesn’t work.  The Sonos app sends me to the SiriusXM app to reauthorize SiriusXM and it seems happy, but then when returning to the Sonos app, it says I need to reauthorize SiriusXM again.  I successfully do this but then it comes back to the same place and says I need to reauthorize SiriusSM.  I’ve done this a number of times now, but I'm stuck in the Sonos/SiriusXM reauthorize loop.  Has anyone seen this?

Here’s my dilemma with my Sonos Surround system.I have the Arc Sound bar; (2) Era 100s currently used as the Surround back L/R; and the Sub (Gen 3).  Work perfectly as home theater setup.But, due to the fact the Arc Sound bar is not BlueTooth capable; and, once the (2) Era 100’s are dedicated to Stereo Surround (which automatically disables them from being BlueTooth operable), there is no way to Blue Tooth music from my iPhone or iPad to play music through the Sonos System.The only temporary fix to BlueTooth music to the Sonos system is to go back into the Sonos app and “Remove Surrounds” from the Era 100’s and then reassign the Era 100’s to Stereo Front L/R and re-adjust the volume.  Now, the Era 100’s BlueTooth will work.My question: is there a way on the Sonos App to configure (program) two different listening environments and to easily toggle between the two configurations with just a click of a button.   For example:  “Configuration 1” would be were all the Sonos components are as

Is anyone else experiencing a recent unresponsive app issue. Both myself and a friend have the same problem. Sonos app not responding, finds system but won’t play music, if it does it won’t turn it off or change volume. Both happened towards end of last week.  I’ve tried uninstalling and going again but nothing. nothing in my setup has changed. 

I have created a queue and want to save as a playlist but don’t seem to be able to. Is this right?So if I navigate away from the queue (or to listen to a radio station), how do I get back to the queue if I can’t save it as a playlist?why have you made a really easy system so damn hard to use? Perhaps time to move away from Sonos to a more flexible system (like Sonos pioneered!)

My Era100 won’t keep the coneection and turns off when used with my PC.When playing music from my phone there is no problem. But when I play from AppleMusic and Youtube via my computer it shuts down after about 10 seconds.Other times it keeps the connection for a longer while, but either way, it never actually play the sounds. It is connected but no sounds come out from either my PC or the Era100. The PC’s sound output is always set to the Era100.So it is has nothing to do with bluetooth or wifi connection - those are stable when I use my phone. Also the speaker is located right next to my wifi and I have another Era100 further away, with no issues. And my PC has no problem keeping bluetooth connection with my mouse and keyboard, so it shouldn’t be that either.Hope someone can help?

hello, since your app rleases on 09 and 12 December, there is now a new problem for voice-over users navigating away from the now playing screen. when you use this feature to either find out more info about the track playing, or when watching TV for turning speech enhancement and night sound on and off, it is no longer possible to close this screen via the button at the top left. this fault was present at the launch of the new app, but was resolved in July 2024, but it’s back once again! previously there used to be a close button at the top left of the screen, and also a dialogue to “close pop-up window” but these have both disappeared. At present the only way round this is to use the (very unreliable) two finger scrub jesture in voice-over, or alternatively to close the app completely and then restart the app. Are any other voice-over users experiencing this fault? also can this bug be looked at by your development team and resolved as soon as possible please. it’s really disappointin

I’m planning on getting the Era 300 speaker but have a query on getting the best out of my set-up.I’m currently subscribed to Apple Music and was planning on using the line in connection from the speaker to my MacBook Pro via a HELM DAC/aux cable. Will this enable me to listen to Apple Music Hi-Res lossless or at least 24bit/48khz? Or have I missed something?

We have two different issues with Alexa and volume:1- when asking something, the response comes very, very loud. We have tried to set the volume on the app (both Sonos and Alexa) but it makes no difference. We have also tried to set up the volume with the buttons and then ask Alexa to remember that volume as our preferred volume, but nothing works. Not nice for either us or the neighbours.2- when playing the radio or music (doesn't matter through which platform) and we ask Alexa to turn the volume up or down, it goes up way to loud or way to low. Tried to change the command to "turn the volume up by 1" but it doesn't work. We also use a Google speaker and never had that issue with volume control. Unfortunately, we don't seem able to switch to Google voice control.Can anyone help fix that please?

Hi. So even after the new update thr album and channel art for SiriisXM is erratic. It loads correctly the 1st time when the app is opened. After that, it appears to always lag a song or station behind on any Android device. Change the channel and it displays thr artwork for the previous channel. Issue for me only on androidn devices. IOS appears to.be far more functional with this at thr moment. Have tried to uninstall and reinstall app to see if was an on phone queue issue with no improvement Thank You. 

Hi all,I'm in the UK and in the process of setting up Google Assistant with my Arc.In order to play music I need to select a default music player in Google Home to associate with the Sonos.I would like to select Sonos Radio as my default source rather than YouTube Music but I can't find a way to select it, either in Google Home or via the new Sonos app.Would someone be kind enough to assist? Many thanks 

HiI have an arc ultra and sub gen 3 setup app and system fully up to date.Last night I turned my TV off and 5 minutes or so later I noticed a flashing light, it was the sub gen 3 light blinking white, it lasted about 20 seconds, arc ultra was fine.I checked the Sonos app and my mesh internet Eero app and all was fine nothing seemed to have dropped off from the sonos app or lost connection.Anyone have any idea what this flashing white light could mean?I think it means it’s rebooting, but not sure? Thank you

Updated app yesterday and now nothing works - 2 hrs waiting and then dealing with helpdesk - router rebooted 4 times all 20 devices rebooted, controllers reloaded several times, moved to Sonos channel 1 and still not working. Approximately 5 hrs of wasted time, pls help. Helpdesk claim it is a known problem which isn’t particularly helpful - a known solution would be better and a timeframe for when it will get fixed - another massive Sonos own goal.
