Playing Sonos Beam through my YABER K2s projector with Orei UHDS-402A matrix switch

Hello all,

I got a new sonos beam for Christmas and I love it! When I connect it to my Yaber K2s projector it plays great. The only problem is the projector only has one HDMI output, and I am looking to use the sound bar when playing Xbox or streaming something on my Google Chromecast. I bought an Orei UHDS-402A matrix switch (here's the Amazon link for the one I purchased) and while the video plays through perfectly the sound plays through the built in speakers of my projector, and doesn't output through the Beam like I believe I have set up correctly. My setup is as follows:

Inputs: Google Chromecast, Xbox one HDMI

Outputs: beam, projector

I've also tried hooking up the beam with the optical, but that hasn't worked either.

Any help on this would be appreciated!!
