Hi all. I have a projector that I want to connect to my Sonos wall speakers (no bluetooth). My setup is firestick to hdmi extractor --> 3.5mm jack --> Sonos connect (stereo input) --> symfonisk speakers. The sound is in sync with the picture when it works. But it is very jittery, like it doesn't buffer enough to keep up with the picture. Looking for community suggestions to try to fix this as it is ruining the whole cinema experience I was going for!

I didn't go for a soundbar because the projector screen is in front of a floor to ceiling window (i.e. it comes down from the ceiling when in use) and so a soundbar would be in the way, or or the ceiling giving a strange sound vibe. This seems to mean no arc?

Thanks

Check for wifi interference between your CONNECT and your Symfonisk speakers. Although to be honest, I’d be looking at that extractor as well, it may not be passing a good audio signal either.

I’ve not done it, but I think some have run an HDMI cable to the front and connected an Arc or Arc Ultra, but it really depends on if your projector has an ARC output.

I’m not a huge fan of your setup, but as Sonos doesn’t really make a good solution for projectors, I can’t cast any stones. As long as it is working (at least mostly) for you.

Thanks Airgetlam. I’ll be honest, I shouldn’t have gone SONOS for this setup but I have them elsewhere in the house and really like them. It wasn’t until I started trying to knit everything together that I realised the headache I’d given myself - and the extra cost of a Connect!

I’ll try the network settings/location and post back with results. Cheers

Meanwhile if anyone can recommend a good extractor, I’d be grateful.

Hi all. I changed the WiFi channel and moved the Connect a bit further from the WiFi router and it seems to have improved things, albeit not fully fixed. I think extractor is next area of focus. Cheers
