Hi,Reading around it seems last.fm functionality was retired around a year ago. However my scrobbles had been working just fine until the very most recent app update. Now it only scrobbles a small amount, seemingly at random. Very disappointing, but since there hadn't been any update that I can see on these forums, are the team at Sonos looking at restoring last.fm functionality? The app is close to being as it was (though still no ability to create new Sonos playlists on the app, only edit existing ones) but this is a major loss.In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions to enable scrobbling (simple scrobbler isn't working for me, even with the Sonos player ticked) I'd appreciate it.

I have just bought a new TV a Samsung but there is no optical output. With my old Tv I connected to my playbar with optical lead. There is only and optical input into my playbar. Is there a way of connecting my new Tv to my playbar?

Hello all, I bought a Roam 1 when they first came out which was replaced twice due to the well-known battery problems, the last time it was replaced I received a Roam 2 instead of the Roam 1, but did not get a replacement wireless charger. The Roam 2, when left on the Roam 1 wireless charger -- no matter what USB charger I use -- does not work the next day as it discharges overnight. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Roam 2 and Roam 1 wireless charger? Does anyone find that the wireless charging works on the Roam 2?I’m still surprised that this product is so poor basically and am hoping that I’ve had three duff ones in a row.. Having a portable product that can’t manage its own battery in 2025 is a poor show.

Hi - for years now I have been able to stream the audio from an Insignia tv via the RCA outputs on the tv to the RCA inputs on my older Sonos gen 1 amps to the various speakers throughout our home. simply plugged in and it works though the “Audio Component” setting in the Sonos 1 app with no problems.  I just replaced the Insignia TV with (an older) Sony XBR55X900A TV.  I have plugged in the same RCA cable into (what I think are) the RCA audio outputs on the back of the Sony, but it is not working.

I have a pair of Fives connected as a studio pair, which are then connected to my turntable with a Port. All wireless except the Port to the turntable. When connected as a studio pair and playing music from the turntable, one speaker plays fine, and they other one just cuts in and out over and over. It plays maybe 2% of a song. Disconnect the two as a studio pair and the audio is good from the the turntable to both speakers. Connect them as a studio pair and stream through Spotify and music is good. It’s just the combination of studio pair and the turntable which is not consistently working (or really working at all). Any tips?

I have 4 Sonos amps and 4 pairs of Sonance by Sonos speakers.  2 pairs are older and are detectable by the amps and 2 new pairs are not.  The 2 pairs that are not detectable are brand new out of the box.  The amps are from Sonos and the speakers were from Amazon so there is no question about authenticity.  Why aren’t the speakers detectable?   I haven’t been able to find an answer here.

Hello there,I have an issue with my Sonos setup (or i think it maybe a Sonos related problem).I have a 5.1 setup, Beam gen 2, 2 ones and a sub mini connected to my Samsung TV. I use Netflix and Viaplay to watch movies. Recently I have noticed that when playing movies in Viaplay it only ouputs 2.0 so no bass and no surround (it has worked before we had a power outage). The info states that the output audio is Dolby Audio, doesn’t specify 5.1 or 2.0. But there are some movies that are new so i assume the are in 5.1 format. Jumping directly to Netflix without shutting down the tv or Sonos system, everything works fine, Dolby Atmos, Dolby 5.1 etc.I read in another forum that this could be a Viaplay issue but then again in other forum that this is definetly a Sonos issue. On the TV i have audio output to Auto, tried the different options but no luck. What could cause this issue? I though that Sonos upscales to 5.1 or at least to 2.1? When watching movies in Viaplay i don’t even have bass fro

Tried linking Music library in Imac and system says not able as firewall settings preventing. Looked at Firewall and does not seem to be so as setting seem fine.

I have arthritis and the volume slide bar is so small and I only adjust from 10 to 20 which is the first 1/16 of the slide bar. Is there a way I can just type the volume number in? Or can I make the slide bar bigger? Or have a plus or minus buttons to adjust the volume?

We have a site wifi setup at a caravan park.We have a Play 5 Gen1.All working with Sonos S1 app.Site internet and wifi has gone offline before and sonos network recovered OK.This time S1 app not connecting.Router reset (many times).Ended up performing reset on Play 5 and attempting to set up as a new system. All goes well until it sets up the sonos network. When I return to enter the local network details, the sonos app locates many other routers but not mine.So I type in details manually. It keeps telling me it can't verify the password for the router or that the router password is wrong.Been through this setup process repeatedly a few times with same result.Password is 100% correct. Two TV, two iPhones and apple laptops all connected to router - no issues.Any help on this would be seriously appreciated.

Hello people.Iam asking for advice as to how to stream from a seperates system. Is there a device that works to pass music stream from a record deck and amp to various sound bar sonos 1 sonos 2 equipment.

Hoping the many experts here can provide me some guidance :)I want to add an outdoor zone comprised of four landscape speakers and an in-ground sub. Something along the lines of the Sonance PATIO4.1 or similar. My question is on the best way to power these as a single zone. Am I correct in assuming I could use a Sonos Amp for the four satellites plus a second amp for the passive sub connected to the sub out on the amp? And if I’m correct, is this the best option or, is there a better way? Also, if this is the ideal way, any amp recommendations for the passive sub?

Good morningI'm a home automation integrator and I need to know if it's possible to switch from the HDMI ARC input to the analog ARC input on the Sonos Amp using a command via HTTP.We work with KNX and Loxone, and Loxone has a library that can control basic functions via HTTP, but there's no way to switch the HDMI ARC input to the analog ARC input. Here's a link to the information:https://library.loxone.com/detail/sonos-speakers-28/overviewExample for Play:DIr. I found a Playbase with a broken Wi-Fi module on eBay for cheap. The seller says it still works fine over Ethernet.Unfortunately, my Wi-Fi router is in a different room and I don’t have any access points to extend the signal. However, I have a Play:3 located near where the Playbase would go. Would it be possible to daisy-chain the Playbase to the Play:3 via Ethernet so it can join my system? Thanks in advance!

Wondering from the community if you’re experiencing the same problem. My setup is using an AppleTV direct to a TV, Arc or Arc Ultra connected to the ARC HDMI on the TV. Starting the YouTube TV from the AppleTV and having a channel that has 5.1 audio, the Arc and Arc Ultra decode 2.0 even though 5.1 is being sent (verified by using stats for nerds on the YouTube TV App). Changing the channel on YouTube TV, the Arc and Arc Ultra decode 5.1 and even changing back to the original channel, it now decodes 5.1. I’ve verified this behavior on two different brands of TVs and the 3rd and 2nd generation AppleTV 4k. Spend 1.5 hours with Sonos support that confirmed this issue yesterday and wondering how many other people have noticed or solved this. Appreciate your insight!

Hello everyone,We’re building a new home and want to set up a good audio system in the living room for our main TV.The TV will be mounted on the wall under the stairs (green box in the picture), and the sofa will be positioned where the blue box is. Our current plan is to place a Sonos Arc Ultra under the TV, a Sub on the floor next to the TV, and two Era 300 speakers behind the sofa on stands. What do you think of this setup? Do you have any suggestions?Budget-wise, we can’t exceed this configuration. Thanks in advance for any suggestions  TV Wall

hey! I have a set of Era 100s, one of them just loves to disconnect, i’ve tried literally every solution!! i just don’t want this to keep going on daily. it often just say (room name) then “disconnected” i have factory reset like 3 times, they are finally working, do you think it could be the voice assistant i think it’s kicking me off the wifi or something, im dying for answers because these speak are awesome… WHEN they work!

I’m wondering how to make a home theater with two 5s what would be the best way to do that? Then what soundbars are able to sink with both 5s if that is the only option. thanks :)

This is the setup I have and when I watch a movie or music above 65 the amp turns off and restarts  I have volume limit turned off. Any suggestions as to what I did wrong in this setup? Thanks!

I have 2 Sonos Gen 3 subs, one works great, the other developed a rattle with low bass and is blown (sounds like a fart) (which I didn’t think could happen, didn’t have the sub volume up too much, just at (+3). Called CS and after tweaking and updating, they agreed it’s defective. The problem is the only solution is to send it back and buy a new one with a 30% discount (but the subs cost $799). So my sub lasted 2 years without any abuse. That is disappointing. Should I buy another sub or is this common?

Hello, I have issue with Airplay with Era 100 on my macbook (M2), ipad and iphone. The speaker are seen but when i try to stream i get an error “could not connect to xxxx” I can use the sonos app and stream tunein without any problem.I have all os up to latest version and trying restarting everything and same issue,How can i solve the problem ? Thanks

Hello - I am setting up my outdoor system and am having issues finding an outdoor sub that will work….  Does anyone know what sub I can use with this?  There are VERY few outdoor active subs out there.  What about passive?  Does that mean I need ANOTHER amp just for the sub?? thanks!G

Hi, Can i buy a new case?? I’ve left mine on plane when travelling. Ant

I had to change my rooms. So my Sub, Playbar and two Play1 have been reset to factory defaults so I could do it properly. But when I connect them the process takes a very long time and I get the message: The product has been added, but may not be visible. Please unplug and fix it in system settings. But it doesn't work and a new group (Living Room) is just created. Question:1. Can I delete these rooms (Living Room)2. Can I delete speakers and then add them again, as a new speaker
