I bought an ultra arc sound bar and sub 4 hoping to replace my old hifi setup. AirPlay now doesn’t work. Even direct via the Sonos app has just stopped working tonight, randomly. Unbelievable. Sonos is total spin.

I haven’t played my vinyl through Sonos for a long time . I used to be able to but have forgotten and the site has been updated . I have a connect plugged into my separated system . It used to work !?

Hello AllI do enjoy movies with my sonos beam + surround devices where Atmos is available. When it is not, such as with dolby digital 5.1 or 7.1, it is just day vs night. Here the sound seems low, quality not good i need increase volume up to 75% while 30% is enough with Atmos soundtrack. So i was wondering if I missed something in my beam or surround configuration ? Thanks all for your support. David

I owned a Sonos Move for a couple of years. I frequently used it on travel and it was simple/reliable when trying to toggle to bluetooth mode, even for pairing to a new device. I recently upgraded to the Move 2 and have experienced significant issues when away from my home wifi.My Move 2 lives on it’s charging dock when at home. When I prep for travel, I take it off of the dock, power it off, and pack it. When I arrive at my destination, I turn it back on, press/release the bluetooth button… and within 1-2 minutes, the unit has not shown up in my scanned bluetooth devices and starts blinking a green light indicating a factory reset. After the second time it did this, I reconfigured the device after I arrived home, toggled to bluetooth mode and successfully paired to my bluetooth device. No factory reset, but also no removal from doc or power off/on.I understand that the Move2 requires wifi for initial setup, but is there also a restriction for when/how to pair via bluetooth?

I have an Arc and two Era 100’s that are set up as surrounds in my living room. When I stream music everything works fine. However when I watch a show, movie, or anything besides music the main audio switches from the arc to the right Era 100. The left Era 100 plays no sound. I’ve tried resetting my comcast device, removing the 100’s as surrounds, resetting them and adding back into my system. I’ve tried calling customer support and both times they have me do the same things over and over again and nothing changes. Does anyone know what is causing this problem or do I just have a bad speaker?

My system originally was set up with 4 amps and 4 separate rooms (kitchen, dining, workout, and patio). Somewhere something “reset itself” and now I only see two rooms on the app (kitchen & dining room). However, when I set to play music in the kitchen it also plays in the patio, and when I play music in the dining room it also plays in the workout room. I attempted to reset (simple unplug and plug back in). It still does the same thing. Any guidance how to get back to the four separate rooms?

Hi, I’ve been using 10 Sonos speakers for years — the One and the One SL. They’ve always worked perfectly until recently. Lately, the speakers have started to stutter. I play music or a playlist through the Sonos app, and when the next song starts, it takes 10–20 seconds before it begins playing on some of the speakers. This issue appeared suddenly. I’ve already tried connecting the speakers to the SonosNet, but that didn’t solve the problem. I suspect it’s a software issue, since it only happens when the next song starts or when I skip a track. How can I fix this?

Hi all. My ONE is refusing to reconnect to my WiFi and system. Had it for a couple of years with no issues but a couple of weeks ago it stopped responding when I asked Alexa questions. I reset it back so that it has green flashing light, go into the Sonos app and it shows up asking if I want to connect, I say yes and then it pings up saying not found? I also have a Beam, couple of Play:1’s and a Roam and they all work fine.I haven’t changed WiFi or any settings, it’s just decided it doesn’t want to play?Help!!!

I have just been listening to a playlist on Spotify that I selected via Sonos. It was awful, with lots of suddenly ending and skipped tracks. I stopped and closed my Sonos app and opened a Spotify app to connect to my Sonos system and play the same playlist. I am now enjoying the playlist with no interruptions and no skips. Why……?????

Hi Guys please excuse my lack of knowledge on this. I have a whole home Sonos set up.  I went against having halway speakers when the house was being built.  After living in the house I decided that I wanted hallway speakers too. There were two ceiling speakers close by but in another room. My Av guys have ‘piggy backed’ from those speakers and managed to get connections to the two additional speakers.  the issue I have is that whilst the original ceiling speakers still sound good. The new hallway speakers are quiet and lacking any energy.is there a way to improve the sound?

My sound cuts out every 10 minutes when playing albums.I recently switched internet providers from Starlink back to Frontier. No issues with starlink router. I had this problem before with Frontier and remember making changes to the IP address settings. The usual solutions do not work.

thinking of adding Sonos Fives to my current system (Beam, Sub, Era 100s) - same room   Reasonably happy with the HiFi music reproduction but the focus is obviously to the rear of the seated  positions and naturally the front is a narrow focus from the Beam. Questions - Are you Five owners impressed with the music reproduction - worth the investment? Will TV (when turned on/video played) automatically play through the beam and Eras if music was previously played through Fives (and possibly the eras and sub). Sometimes play music through Apple Music on Apple TV, though generally through iPhone Apple Music app or Sonos app. I’m aware that speaker grouping is possible just wondering if the HDMI ARC connection would disable the Fives when activated. As i write this it occurs to me that music through the Apple TV will be still ‘TV’ audio so would have to be played through an app to use the Fives. Trying to keep things as simple as possible for the Mrs when I’m away and consider the implicat

Hello. My Sonos ROAM no longer lights up and doesn't seem to work at all despite a reset. I only get the orange light when I put it on charge. I am no longer under warranty. Is this the death of the speaker?

Suddenly today, a number of Sonos Radio Stations seem to have disappeared. They still show up as favorites in my ‘sonos favorites’, but when I try to play them - nothing happens.  The ‘>’ play button goes to the stop button symbol.  If I press play, it momentarily shows the play button, then goes back to stop.  There is no error message. If I delete the favorite, and search for the station on Sonos Radio service, the station shows up, but if I say ‘Play Now’ - nothing happens. This is affecting:RNZ ConertRNZ NationalWQXR-FM (But ‘105.9 WQXR ‘ works)KUSCWYNZ-FM Any idea what is going on?with thanks for your help, bernt

Hi there, I have a Sonos Amp paired with Kef Q11 Meta floor standing speakers. I’m thinking of getting a Sonos Sub 4, my question is, will the sub make a difference to my listening experience? I saw that you can select the crossover frequency but as the Kef speakers go as low as 20Hz (in room response typically 26Hz) and the sub goes to 25Hz, can I set the crossover that low?

I still can’t get my Sirius Xm account to authorize with the Canadian site, even with knowing my passwords and credentials. I was able to use everything at my old house but now at my new house can’t get it to authorize as it takes me to the American site and when I transfer to Canadian site and all logged in no option to authorize it? Any help?

Hi all,I’ve just upgraded to Fibre - i.e. a new router. I’ve gone through and reset all my Sonos devices (Play 1s, Play3s, and two Beams). However, in the App on my tablet, none of the devices are accessible (even though they show up) - under the Sonos network ‘My Sonos’. I’ve reinstalled the App on my tablet, and forgot and rejoined my Sonos network. However on my phone (exactly the same App version), everything is showing up and working fine. I’ve renamed my Sonos Network to NOT be ‘My Sonos’, and this doesn’t show in my tablet. So it appears as though my tablet is connecting to a rogue Sonos network which thinks all the devices are connected to that network, but my phone is connecting to the real Sonos network where everything is connected.Any advice please?

Ok here's what I have going on right now, I have a connect gen 2 with rca out ran to an amp powering my 2 outdoor speakers on my patio.  The new tv I put out there this year has terrible audio and wanted to have the option of playing the tv thru my outdoor speakers.  My connect has an optical input, I would assume I can just wire that in but I also don’t want to spend a lot of money running a good optical wire thru my attic how the wire would have to be run.   Am I better off using the hdmi arc out from the tv into an extractor that that did optical out, or that goes to rca out?  I’m trying to avoid the easy solution of spending 700$ on a Sonos amp since I pretty much have everything and can possibly make this work for under 100$. Also will I be able to easily switch between whatever I want to play in my app (which isn’t easy at all, but thats another issue) and the tv audio in the app? sorry I dip my toes at best in this world, and am not big in understanding audio.

How do I make the volume level stay constant between songs - at least when using Spotify?

A year on since the “new app” launched and the Lock Screen Controls feature has still not been restored.  Has Sonos given up on a feature that practically every other media player has by default??

I have speakers in 3 rooms. When I play via AirPlay, I play it to the AirPlay-enabled speaker (not all are AirPlay compatible, but for a group all you need is one of them and the group will work). For some reason over the last few months, when I play over AirPlay, the group does not work. It will only play out of the AirPlay-compatible speaker. If I choose the group from within the Sonos app, it works. The AirPlay speaker is in the bedroom. A group contains the bedroom, office, and living room. So only the bedroom speaker plays and I cannot get sound to come through the other speakers in the group.Any ideas on what to reset/reboot/try? Thank you. All iOS software and Sonos speaker software and apps are up to date as far as I can tell.

Hello everyone! I am the receptionist for one location of a three office optometry practice. We use a variety of Sonos speakers and the Sonos app in all three locations, using playlists from Apple Music and an iPad to control the Sonos app. Recently, we’ve been experiencing a frequent issue with playback, and it happens at all three locations with all the speakers. I keep the “now playing” screen up on our iPad at all times so I can see the song and control the volume for those inconsistently loud or quiet songs. Herein lies the issue: the scrub bar continues to move (showing the song is indeed playing) and the volume stays constant (no fluctuations) BUT the office is silent. It happens intermittently, sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes for a whole song (or multiple..). Sometimes skipping the song will bring audio back, sometimes it doesn’t. We haven’t pinned down if it’s all speakers at once, but that’s what it sounds like. Here’s what we’ve tried:Reset the router AND ran a speed
