Hello again.  I'm listening to music from my local library for the first time in a little while and the album art is not displayed. It's the same on android and ios.

We purchased a home that has 4 in-wall architectural speakers in the living room and 2 outdoor speakers (old Yamaha speakers). Is it possible to run all 6 speakers off the one Amp? And if so, is it possible to have different “zones” (e.g., listen only to the 4 in-wall speakers when watching TV, or listen only to the 2 outdoor speakers when outside)? Or do I need two amps (1 for the 4 in-wall speakers and 1 for the 2 outdoor speakers)?Thank you for your help!

Sub mini keeps disconnecting in the app, requiring a reboot. It only stays connected for about 2mins. I have rebooted the router, and the sub is close to a mesh extender.

I have a Playbar and 2 AMP’s. I have had an Eero Mesh system for 6 plus years with the Sonos. Recently the App doesnt recognize the Sonos system.  I chatted with someone at Sonos who said my iphone and the Sonos are on different IP addresses.  How can I get them on the same IP address & if I do this will the issue go away? Thanks for any help!

Sonos S1 app one of my rooms disappeared from the rooms icon. It does show up under the systems tab under products IE: Dining room bridge. Dining room does not show up under rooms. Any help? I tried deleting app and reinstalling it .

I can’t get my Play 5 to sync with my Ray (connected through optical) when connected to the tv without getting up and pressing the play button on the Play 5. When I try to add the Play 5, then press apply, all sound stops.

For some reason, my Sonos One lost its connection to my home WiFi network, and it appeared the only way to get it back on was to follow the device reset steps.  Once I was again able to connect to it with the controller app, none of my previous settings were there in terms of favorites, music services, playlists, etc. My question is, where are these settings kept?  As part of my Sonos account (if so, would have expected them to be remembered) or on the device itself?

I have 2 bars, and a handful of speakers around the house… and for years now -  the app will find some speakers and not others.. it changes almost every time. I routinely get ‘system not found’ - WTAF - I am sorry that I spent all this $$ on a system that sounds great but is so freakin’ unreliable and painstaking to fix/stressful to engage, rather that seamless and simple.  I’ve read on forums about this wonkiness being a function of the app, particularly 1.0 to 2.0 - that seems to jibe with my experiences.  I am not looking for the Sonos service people to nudge me to call in or text to get some assistance. A short term ‘win’ (what? that they system works after 45 min of troubleshooting with you) isn’t sufficient when tomorrow I have issues again.  MAYBE TELL US WITH CERTAINTY YOU’LL  FIX YOUR APP IF THATS THE ISSUE, OR TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS  ‘YOU’RE SH/T OUR OF LUCK’?

I have no true play showing on my app , any fix guys ?

Hello, I want to run my computer audio through my Rodecaster Pro II, as I currently do utilizing my Adam A3X powered speakers. But now, I want to use the Sonos era 100 speakers to replace those. Is there a way to connect the era 100’s to the Rodecaster Pro II and use them as my computer speakers (not utilizing the Bluetooth feature of the speakers)?

Hi community. I have my sonos play bar connected with Ethernet and wifi turned off on the play bar thru the app , then to my understanding , that creates its own wifi to connect to my sub.  Now , how can I use the app on my phone to control the sonos play bar if my phone is not connected to wifi, and I don't have wifi turned on thru out my home.   Trying to not use any wifi in my home.  Thanks in advance.

I am trying to connect a Samsung Smart Monitor to my Playbar. The monitor has an earc HDMI and HDMI connection while the playbar only has the optical/digital type connection. Is there a simple cable adapter that would connect the two? I read that the Sonos adapter works the other way to hook up a tv digital to a playbar hdmi but doesn’t work the other way round. Not sure if that’s true or not. Any other work arounds or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have two Sonos systems: Two old Play 5 speakers with the old S1 controller - all working fine. I can access all the music on the local HDD of my Windows 11 PC. Never had an issue.A newer system comprising 3 pairs of speakers and a sound bar. All working fine using the newer S2 controller - except…… I cannot access the music on my hard drive - the same files on the same HDD that the old S1 controller has no problems accessing. The controller recognizes the library (safter a lot mucking around creating new local users, sharing folders, using the network path option etc etc) but refuses to list the albums or tracks. See screen shots below.  When I click on “Update Music Library Now” the usual message pops up:I click on Yes, and the "Indexing...” message pops up and disappears with a second. When I check the library for albums, artists etc, I get the dreaded “No selections are available”. Nothing. Zero. Zilch. I have read all the posts in various forums about this, but there does not seem

I get Favorites is full when trying to save a song to favorites. Been like that for years! When will they allow more than what the old app allowed. It’s only a list! Any fixes?

My system operates erratically. System does not display component status reliably; does not consistently display album or Playlist tracks; will display graphics for music other than that which is playing; will indicate the system is off when music is playing.

Hi, I’m sure it’s a stupid question with an easy solution  however I am in need of some help with an audio lag I havei have just bought a new Samsung frame pro 2025 and linked my Ray with 2x era 100 as rear speakers I wanted to use the Dolby atmos through the tv to sync with the sound bar and rear speakers which I can do but cannot get rid of the slight echo/lag when all are workingIm streaming through a firestick

I have a full system that worked fine in the last house, same Sonos app won’t connect to any of the speakers in the system.  What in the world? All of Sonos is 100% dependent on the app, will have to move away from Sonos unless it can be fixed. Anyone else have this happen?

ProductsPlay 5 (Purchased new in 2017) Play 1 (Purchased new in 2017) Playbar + Sub (Purchased New in 2019) Sonos Amp 2nd Gen (Purchased New in 2019) Sonos Move 2 (Purchased New in 2024)House DetailsSingle Story, 4K square feet, Metal Roof Hard wired Cat 7 cable across the house connected to various EERO mesh repeaters 2G Fiber from AT&T using their modem and router None of the Sonos equipment is hard wired with Cat 7 all running the only band of avail wifi on the system ProblemsI’ve hard reset all products now 2-5 times to get my system back to baseline, deleting the sonos app and re-installing, restarting my phone, etc.  I can’t get all the products to stay in my system.  Very VERY frustrating.   Right now for example, my sonos amp that runs our patio speakers was not showing.  But the Kitchen (Sonos 1) and Master bedroom (playbar) were showing.  For no reason at all the move 2 and play 5 had vanished but for purposes of this example disregard that.  I ended up resetting the amp

I’d like to add a Sonos turntable to our current Sonos setup. I have a connect amp that runs a pair of klipsh rear passive speakers in my living room as part of my Sonos surround sound setup. If I plug the turntable into the connect amp will I only be able to play music over those rear passive speakers or will it somehow connect to the various other Sonos speakers I have ( play 1, arc, play threes, subs, etc. ). Also can I put two things into the connect amp at the same time? The pair of passive speakers and the turntable? thanks!

I'm experiencing a popping at various times with my new Arc Ultra, I've had it for about a month, never had problems with my previous Arc in four years. Any ideas, thanks

What is the best way to bring 8 wired architectural wall and ceiling speakers, spread throughout my house into my Sonos Ultra/Sub 4/Era 300 system. 2 Sonos amps, or Look at a Bluesound config, or Something else? Thanks! (forgive my subject line typo, doesn’t appear I can edit this)

I have a few zones that are a 3 speaker setup (Beam + 2 Ones, Ray + AMP).  Sometimes I have 1 speaker in the zone unplugged on purpose - example below.  I’ve noticed the zone then disappears so I can’t use that zone at all until I power the missing speaker.  I’d like to keep using the zone even if there are speakers “missing” because they are not plugged in.  How can I do this?  Or is it a feature request? Example zone: my AMP powers 2 soffit speakers for my back deck.  I have a rolling cart for my outdoor TV, which includes the Ray.  When watching TV the AMP speakers serve as the surrounds paired with the Ray.  I turn off the cart’s powerstrip when not watching TV, hence the Ray is unplugged most of the time.   Now, because of the zone setup, I can’t play music out of the AMP when just hanging out on the deck.

Hi all, my system has 3 Sonos amps: 2 newer ones and a Connect:amp. The 2 newer amps have no problem connecting, but I have to reboot the Connect:amp each time to get it to play. When I check under “Your System” on the app, it shows that the Connect:amp is connected and apparently playing through the speakers, but I have to unplug it and reboot it before it connects. I’ve powered off my router and modem and disconnected / reconnected all devices, but this didn’t solve it. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.

is it possible to use a Sonos ACE connected to an ARC Ultra;hearing through the ACE but still having the Utra working (sounding the film)?

Hello,A family member came into my house today with their iPhone 8, but could not connect to my sonos controller. Here is everything that i've checked / tried :The iPhone (and all other successfully connected device) are on the same network, using the app version 11.15.4 (my phone) or 11.15.5 (the iphone). I made sur the app on the iPhone had all the permissions. I double checked that all devices were indeed connected on the same network. Not that it matters, but both the iphone and the amp are on 2.4GHz (my phone is connected on the 5GHz band) I uninstalled / reinstalled the app on the iphone  And finally, I removed and added back the wifi network on the iphone.Unfortunately,  none of this worked. Any new idea or explanation would be welcome.I searched on this community for related topics, but could not find anything I did not try.Have a great day.
