Hi, I’m sure it’s a stupid question with an easy solution  however I am in need of some help with an audio lag I have

i have just bought a new Samsung frame pro 2025 and linked my Ray with 2x era 100 as rear speakers I wanted to use the Dolby atmos through the tv to sync with the sound bar and rear speakers which I can do but cannot get rid of the slight echo/lag when all are working

Im streaming through a firestick

Did you add the Era speakers to the Ray as Surrounds? There should be no delay.

Are you using the Group function to connect the Eras to the Ray? There is a 75 ms delay, unavoidable, in that mode for TV listening. Also the Eras are not acting as Surrounds set up this way, but slightly delayed echos of the Front R/L channels further muddying the sound.

Hi Stanley

thankyou so much for the reply…. Yes it’s set up as surround and all works perfectly when on eithor tv speakers or through optic but when mixed together has the delay

If you did not add the Era 100s as surrounds in the setup, then they aren't configured as surrounds.  It sounds like you are grouping them instead.  See here for how to add as surrounds:

Hi jgatie and again Thankyou for taking the time to assist me… maybe I’m not explaining myself,

  1. The Ray and era100 are connected as surround speakers and work perfectly when operating solely through optic
  2.  The tv speaker by it self works perfectly,
  3. There is a function on my new tv which enables me to allow optic signal and tv sound to combine and work together called ‘simultaneousl optical output’ it is only when I activate this setting allowing the tv audio and optic audio to combine I get the delay

when I play about with the digital output Audio delay on the tv settings I can’t get it to sync

when I adjust the delay setting in the Sonos app I cannot get it to sync.

is there another setting I’m missing??

A soundbar is not supposed to be used with the TVs speakers.  It's an alternative to the TVs speakers.  Besides being out of sync, the timbre of the TVs speakers will be unmatched by the soundbar, throwing off the sound quality.  Turn off the TV speakers, they aren't needed when you have an external sound system.

Perfect, I was anticipating that answer but needed it confirmed thanks again
