I have a villa which is rented out Airbnb etc and we have a Sonos system in property and I am looking for best procedures for guests to use the system - do they have to set up a system every time some one new moves into villa or is there a simple method ?

Hello SONOS,I'm disapointed that you have not a secure communication standard like smb3 available.Now my music library on the NAS DS720+ is not reacheable anymore.Please supply me a modern communication protocol.

We’re setting up a bunch of Sonos One SL units in a public space and are curious what, if any, theft prevention measures are available.Is there anything out there that will help lock these into place? Is there any way to “firmware lock” them so that they can’t be added to someone else’s network without our permission?Thanks so much!

I have painstakingly set my alarms for specific programmes to turn on automatically. Can I share these with a (future) Sonos user to make life easier for that person (he is less tech savvy then me). Thanks, Miriam

After a week of searching and not finding a solution, I decided to roll up the sleeves to make myself one to my desire.  I wanted to lay my unit on a stand rather than wall mount for purposes of an easy replacement in a different room, one of the benefits of a wireless design.My home decor is MCM style so what I wanted was a Mid Century look using a solid walnut finished top  with routed edges, with slanted, period correct legs.The dims of the Arc are approximately 45” x 4”.  I made my top 46” x 5.5” for a custom look that screams the unit was made specifically for an ArcI’ve got some leftover parts and hardwood if anyone also need to feel this void in the marketplace.Let me know if I can be of some help.

One of my two dogs seems to be alarmed by the Sonos Speaker when I play it. I have turned off Loudness reduced the volume limit to no avail. I assume the speaker emits in a range that triggers my dog unlike any other audio device Ive had before.  Not the tv not the bluetooth speakers ive had. Have any of you encountered this ? 

I live with my ex and she keeps deleting my set up as she doesn’t like it, how do I stop her joining my network, playbar/base/surrounds in my room how can I stop her?

Hello all, I have a Sonos Play 5 gen 2 & two Play 3s. The wifi on the play 5 has stopped working and after many hours and exhausting every google search I can think of... I have come to terms that my very expensive speaker isn’t going to be wireless any longer. The play 5 works when its connected to ethernet. My current problem is- how do I connect my two play 3’s back into the ecosystem. The two play 3s are wireless and from my understanding they would need to run off the play 5s (now bad) wireless signal? I have had my speakers for years now and I’m starting to feel defeated by what seems like such a poor design flaw. Even if the wireless on the play 5 was operational and i needed to wire one of the speakers via ethernet due to signal issues- why would it make sense to have the other speakers connect to a speaker with poor signal (which is why you would plug it in right)? It would be nice if you could plug one speaker into ethernet while the rest of speakers connect happily to my

The Sonos updater for macOS failed with an unexpected error, so I come to the support site download the update manually. My Sonos Roam recently died w/o explanation after a little less than two years. I ordered a Sonos Sub a few months ago and it got lost/was never delivered after waiting over a month (or was it two)? I wound up having to dispute the order via my credit card company to get the charge back.I have a huge investment in Sonos but I'm increasingly nervous about quality. Is there something going on with the company overall I should be worried about? It just seems like a lot...

When I sign in to my account on the Sonos website and go to System, the list contains products I no longer own, like an old Play 5.  The Play 5 was actually recycled.  I did not deregister it before that.  But there doesn’t seem to be any way to get it off the list.  I know it doesn’t do any harm for it to be there.  I would just like to clean things up.  Thanks.

Sonos and other retailers have marked down prices 20%.  When i try to use my 30% credit against the new price is does not allow it. Only against the higher non sale price. This is wrong as the 30% is really only 10%. Sonos should allow the credit against the product price on any given day.

Hello, just bought the Sonos Arc, Sub, one one SL to go along with new Samsung tv.    Alot to learn.  Where is the best place to learn everything I need to know?   On sonos.com, the “learn” tab doesn’t have much.   The sparse documentation I got doesn’t tell me alot.   I’ve got the system working, but I want to learn the app, how to set up voice commands, etc.     Is there a youtube channel?    Some documentation somewhere?    I really want to learn this, but not finding anything out there.  Thank you from a Sonos newbie.

I’ll be retiring in 1-1.5 years and the wife & I are planning to move to South Korea to live for 2 years before returning back to the US. I have several Sonos products and soon planning to upgrade from Sonos One to Fives to complete my system. I would like to take the Ones, Fives & Move with us to Korea. Will the Sonos work in Korea? Will the Sonos app and Spotify work? 

The Acoustic Engineering has created roughly equal excellent two speaker systems or surround sound systems - Sonos and Bose. It seems that how it makes makes difference.

I have heard a rumour that Sonos are going to release the above in the near future. Does anyone know if it's true?If so will it be able to play Dolby Atmos content through the headphones?It's a shame that I can't use my current headphones (Sony MDR-7506 Professional) as there's nowhere to plug them in and they do offer great sound quality!I sometimes like to listen to music or watch a movie late in the evening and I can't unless I turn the volume right down as I have neighbours both sides with kids and I don't want to fall out with the neighbours lol
