Hello, I have followed the troubleshooting notes from Sonos, and my new TV remote is not being detected by Sonos Ray. Help please!TCL Google TV 2023 + new Sonos Ray.

Hi everyone, I have recently upgraded my system with Sonos Arc Ultra and two ERA 300. In order to connect to my projector BENQ 2700 i (no eARC but 2 HDMI ports that supports audio return) I also got a HD Fury Arcana 2 8.1 . In my initial set up I get sound from the Arc Ultra and ERAs when streaming music. I however can not get sound through the Arcana  when connected to the projector (or TV).  When I first initiated setting up the ARC to projector (TV) it refused as it could not connect to CEC.  Sonos support was unhelpful and informed me that Sonos is primarily developed for TVs and they were unable to help.  I therefore bought a small Phillips TV (24PHS6808/12) with CEC which I plan to return after successful setup with my BenQ projector. The ARC then concluded TV set up and confirmed that ArC Ultra was connected to to the TV. I hoped that this golden handshake would solve my problems. I did however  not get any sound from the ARC even though I checked TV settings and have activated

Moderator Edit - Translation by Google:Hello everyone,I would like to switch my Era 300 speakers to a surround configuration and I would like your advice. My ears are about 40 cm from the back wall and to the side. Is this distance too close to the speakers? Also, do you think it is better to go for fixed or swivel mounting brackets?Thank you in advance for your help!

My LG  2024 Tv and Sonos Beam two sl1 and mini sub have worked perfectly until today. the sound settings on The TV have completely changed to a long bar for adjustment, also The speakers lack surround sound, the only thing difference is we watched football on the red button setting, could that have caused a complete  change ? Completely baffled!

I am upgrading from Beam 2.  To.  Arc ultra. Question Do I have  to setup again my mini sub and 2 100 rear speakers to Arc? Thank you…

My Sonos beam (gen 2) is wall mounted.  There doesn’t seem to be enough room behind the speaker for the hdmi cable to comfortably make the turn, therefore it kinks.  Any remedies anyone have for this?

As title says, my Playbar powers off after a few seconds. Initially the led light is on then shuts off. This issued began a few years ago but I’m back to trying to fix it. anyone know a fix for this?I’ve tried different cords and outlets.

Hi everyone…I'm new & late to the party...I've already seen a few and helpful answers to the question I wanted to ask. That is, what sub should I get that's compatible with my GEN 2 BAR, recently acquired. Some helpful answers are about 1 year or so old now, so I thought I'll raise the question again, in case things have chenged since. Tech is restless & always on the go, however, if nothing much has changed, then I'll try and follow some of the advice already given by the community.Cheers everyone.Gidu

Hi I need some help. I have just set up my Sonos Ray sound bar with my Samsung QE65S95B (2022) Smart TV. I followed the instructions with the app and set up the TV remote as well. The problem I am having is that i can only increase the volume via TV remote but not reduce the volume. Has anyone got any suggestions?  At the moment I can only reduce the volume via the Sonos App or by tapping the bar. Please help

My first  Beam2 worked beautifully until after 10 months it would no longer connect to the network.  It was replaced in record time but the new one does not sound a good as the old.  It seems to have resonant peaks which affect the clarity of some sounds mainly speech.  I tried to use the Trueplay function on my iPhone to level the frequency response but that no longer works.  Any ideas please?

Hi,Currently I have a Symfonisk table lamp of Gen 1. I want to get the Beam Gen 2 and another Symfonisk lamp to create a stereo pair and to get surround. At the moment I will only be able to buy the Symfonisk lamp Gen 2.So the question: will the Beam Gen 2 work with a Symfonisk lamp Gen 1 and a Gen 2 to create a stereo pair? Or will it only stereo pair with compatible Symfonisk Gen?Thanks in advance!

Hi,I ended up with two rooms with the same name “Living Room”.One has: Arc Ultra, Sub, Era 300the other has: Era 300How can I get that single Era 300 into the room with the Arc?thanksOS

Using Sonos Arc, Hisense U8 TV, 2 play1’s in surround speaker mode. I have Sonos HDMI 2.1 cable to TV earc.  I have ARC enabled in Hisense and CEC. In audio out in Hisense, I do not get sound from my 2 play1 surround speakers in audio out passthrough or Dolby Digital. With passthrough marked Sonos app says Stereo. In Dolby Digital checked, Sonos app does say Dolby Digital plus but no sound from surround speakers. In auto out with Auto marked, I get sound from surround speakers but Sonos App says Dolby Digital multichannel 2.0.  Any suggestions?

I have Sonos Beam with two Sonos ones connected to a lg cx. The sound from apple 4k tv box sounds better via bluetooth than from wired hdmi 2.1 connection…..any ideas ?

I was attempting to create a surround pair for my new Sonos Arc and when I went through the setup in the app, I realized I could not mix the surround pair.  I have two Sonos ONEs and two Symfonisk Lamps (the previous generation, not the current ones). What I wanted to do was use one of the ONEs and one of the Lamps as the surround pair to my Arc.While I was setting it up in the app, it picked up those 4 speakers and asked which one I wanted to use as the surround.  On selection of the first speaker, if it is the Sonos ONE that I selected, it will then ask if I want to use the second Sonos ONE to pair with, but it will not let me choose the Symfonisk speakers.  Alternatively, if I select the Symfonisk as my first speaker, it will ask if I want to use the second Symfonisk to pair with, but not the Sonos ONEs. When I googled mixing the two, it seems to be possible, but maybe I'm misunderstanding something?Could someone advise if this is correct behaviour, and I just won’t be able to do wha

Hello, I have a black line on my Sonos Arc Ultra White, do you have that on yours too? It's not really visible in the photo but in real life yes, it stands out too much with the white of the product I have the impression that it's a small manufacturing defect

I replaced my Arc with an Arc Ultra. I moved my Arc to another room. I’ve noticed the audio decoding on Netflix does not work properly. 5.1 on several shows has decoding issues where the music on a show is very low or missing. For example, the music is Derry Girls in many scenes is missing or very low. I don’t get this issue on Arc. The only way to work around the problem on Netflix is change audio to stereo. All the other streaming services seem to work fine. Lord of the rings on Prime for example sounds amazing. Sonos support could not help, telling me to contact Netflix. Not great.  My setup is Arc Ultra, sub 4, sub 3, 2x Era300

I am thinking of upgrading to the new Arc Ultra (currently running the previous gen).  My current setup is Sonos Arc, Sub Gen 3, and (2) One SL’s as my surrounds. I’m also considering adding the Sub Gen 4 for a dual-sub setup.Question, with Dolby Atmos and the new Arc Ultra, could I add a second set of ceiling-mounted surrounds which would be positioned above and behind my (2) One SL’s?  Can the Sonos Arc Ultra pass audio to the (4) surrounds properly when Dolby Atmos is played? Thanks!

This has happened a few times recently. While watching a movie, the sound volume will drop momentarily, and a voice (obviously automated CG) says “Yes?”. This doesn’t seem to be in response to anything said in the movie. It is not Alexa, but a polite gentleman’s voice. It seems to be an automated response, but not sure why it is happening. Any ideas?

Hi, I’ve been watching premium content via a few streaming apps, Dolby Atmos sounds perfect via the Beam 2.  Today I’ve noticed that my Disney + premium app will not play Dolby Atmos through the Beam.  If I disconnect the Beam from my Philips TV, the TV plays Dolby Atmos perfectly.  I’ve tried everything, changed cables,  changed/messed around with the TV settings and the Beam settings.  In the end I’ve contacted Disney support to see if they could help and I’ve been told that Disney doesn’t support Dolby Atmos through external speakers including the Sonos Beam 2, only 5.1.  I’m slightly miffed at this.  Is this correct, and if so, anyone know a work around for the Beam 2 to get Dolby Atmos?

Hi - I just bout a Sonos beam gen 2 but I’m having issues in connecting it with my LG50QNED tv. Basically, when I start the tv set up in the Sonos app and insert the HDMI cable in the HDMI arc port both the Sonos and the tv don’t recognise that the cable is inserted. I’ve tried factory reset, unplug and plug, etc. Is this a common issue?
