Hi team Ever since I changed my 2.4Ghz radio to channel 13 (Yes it is legal in where I live) across all my APs. The Sonos Beam has been unable to associate to to the SSID and de-registered itself from the app…After a factory reset the beam still can’t see the SSID at all during the setup process. As soon as I changed the channel to channel 6. It started working again. My question is - does the Beam support channel 13? If not, Why it doesn’t and is it on the roadmap? Does Sonos radios aware of wireless regulatory domains and will auto geo-comply? Btw channel 13 is a vast more cleaner channel to use. Bonus question - is it normal for the product to deregister itself after offline for a while? This is bad design? Setting it up all over again is not cool.

I have had to reset my playbar and setup the new app version on my phone.  My system will not find the sub no matter what...I have factory reset it, plugged into router, NOTHING works.  I’m so frustrated I want to throw this shit in the street as it doesn’t work 80% of the time...any help????

I’ve got a question about the audio output from my Sonos Arc.  Currently, I have my Apple TV 4K connected to a HD Fury Arcana, which in turn is connected to my Sonos Arc for audio output and Vizio P75-F1 for video output.  Ever since I hooked up the Arcana back in September, I’ve been able to experience audio outputs from the Apple TV 4K ranging from Dolby Atmos to Dolby Digital 5.1 to Stereo 2.0, as confirmed in the About My System section of the Sonos app.  However, tonight I noticed in the Sonos app that Dolby Digital 5.1 is now listed as Multichannel PCM 5.1 and Stereo 2.0 is listed as Stereo PCM 2.0.  Does anyone know what might’ve changed in my A/V setup? I’m assuming one of these components had a recent software update which lead to these differences. More importantly, can someone clarify for me if Dolby Digital 5.1 and Multichannel PCM 5.1 are the same audio output? Sonos OS: S2 Sonos Arc: version 12.2Apple TV 4K: tvOS 14.2

Hi,I have recently purchased a Sonos Arc and Sub (Gen 3).  I notice that the volume level is significantly different between services (TV, Netflix, Youtube).  For example:When watching TV, I need to have the volume very high (60% - 70%) to hear it well.  the volume level through on the native TV is much louder than through the Arc.  When I turn on the TV the volume jumps up to a good level for a second then drops to the level that I’m talking about.  It’s like it tried to set at the right level then something happens.When watching Netflix, the volume level still need to be Approx 50% but is louder than the TVWhen watching YouTube, volume is very loud (what I expect) and only need to have it at 10% - 20%.  No need to have it anywhere near half as it fills the room.  This is the kind of performance I’m expecting with the new Arc and comparable to my old Bose soundbar which was consistently loud and high quality across all services.I am connected via

When I play audio on the sonos arc through the app, or ask Alexa to play a song, it plays through the arc for a few seconds and then switches back to the TV Audio In status in the app.  My TV is off, so TV sound is not actually coming through the Sonos. Set upI am using Xfinity X1 box, which is connected to an HD Furry Arcana eArc adapter, which then connects to both the TV and the Sonos.  Wondering if this is my issue? Any ideas? 

Weird issue… just got a Sonos Move… plays fine for all music sources as a group… but the Sonos Move singularly won’t play TV sound but beam and all other (P1 and P3) play fine

Which is the better set up with the Beam, stereo or surround sound 

I want to change my TV and get a projector instead. I am using apple TV as the input to the projector. my Sonos playbar however will be at the other end of my livingroom in front of the screen. whats the best way to connect the playbar to the apple tv or te projector beside crossing an optical cable across my living room?

Hi All, I connected a new Sonos Sub to the beam in my room and the sync went well until I turned on the sub from my app. The buffer is not playing any music, any idea why? Is it related to a defect on the product or my wifi connection?Any help is greatly appreciated. 

Hi,We’ve setup a Samsung Frame 2020 TV and connected eARC with the Sonos ARC. Worked fine till the latest Sonos Update. When starting up TV, the ARC outputs sound, then 2 seconds nothing, then 1 sec sound, then nothing ,… etc. This is quite annoying for a 3K setup… it has nothing to do with cables, only solution which works so far is turning off electricity for 10 seconds… i can still return the ARC to the store but rather have a solution or fix instead.

I have had a Sonos Beam for about a year now and like it alot. I was going to buy a sub but kinda don't have the room for it. Did read about the Move not being able to be paired as a surround but still able to pair to the Beam. I got the Move today but am unable to pair it with the Beam. Can't put them in the same room nor play the same music on them. I  can play music on both devices.. Just not the same music at once. Please help me get them grouped to gather 

I have a Beam and 2 IKEA Symphonisk speakers. The Beam has been working fine for over a year without ever touching it connecting seamlessly to Apple Airplay on my phone, iPad or AppleTV. Then came the iOS14 update.Since then there is only problem and the speakers became dust collectors only. I’m at the point to throw them out all together and opt for another system.Here is what I have now and what I have done trying to connect them all:-Iphone11 with iOS14.1 and iPad with iOS14.1 I use Sonos S2 app on the phone. -Beam and 2 Symphonisk on Wifi, but unable to connect to them through the app. I’ve already reset the router twice, worked a bit then unable to connect again. I reset S2 app. -I sign into the S2 app but my system is not recognized. Blank and not highlighted. Then I click on “Select product” but it just searching for nearby products for over 5 min. I’m standing next to the speakers all plugged in. This is the same whether I try to log in as join ex

Sonos Beam disrupts the TV picture periodically with black out of TV. The TV and speaker will be working well and then the TV will have two black outs where picture goes away. Between first and second black out the sound gets distorted. If we disconnect the sound bar TV works perfectly.  We replaced the HTMI cable and still have the same problem.

When connecting a directional hdmi cable between the tv’s eArc port and the Sonos Arc, which direction should the arrow go? Towards the tv or towards the arc? My first thought was that the sound goes from the tv to the arc, but someone told me the opposite. Just looking for clarification. Thanks.

Have a generation 3 sub and it has a persistent ticking noise. Sub is sat on carpet and has been moved to three different places. Its paired with the beam but still ticks constantly when listening to anything. Sub is exactly one week old Any ideas ?

I am having issues connecting beam with my wifi. I have been using the same wifi with beam for more than 6-7 months and no problems. But all of a sudden, I can't access the Sonos through app and the app is all grayed out giving error that no network connection. I tried restarting beam, router and factory reseting it many times, but for some reason app can't find the wifi. I also reset the app but still no success. 

When I set up my two Play One SLs as surrounds with my Beam the sound cuts in and out when playing music from any source however works fine when watching the tv. Sonos Support suggests that this is a network issue and I should put my router into Bridge mode as I use a Google Wifi mesh network.Has anyone else had a similar issue and managed to resolve it? Many thanks,Phil  

I have had a Sonos Play 1 for some time and have had no problems playing Sonos Radio.  I have just bought a Sonos Arc which is connected to my home system. I can still play Sonos radio on my Play 1 but when I try to play Sonos Radio on my Arc I get the following messages: “Unable to play the radio station” or “Unable to play “Name of Station” - the associated account was not found in your Sonos system”.  I can play radio on the Arc via other streaming services like Tunein but Sonos Radio will not work.  Please advise how to resolve. 

I have a Sonos Arc paired with a gen 3 sub and almost since the day I bought (2 months ago) it the sound randomly cuts in and out. Sound on for 1 sec, off for 2. The only way I've found to resolve this is powering off the Arc and back on. There's no common them I can pinpoint as to why or when this happens. It's connect via e-arc to a 2020 Samsung Q90t. I've run the diagnostics report 1811475585. Please help me fix this once and for all. 

Hi, Just bought a Sonos Beam 2 weeks ago and I still don't manage to connect from the Spotify app. I can see the Sonos Beam in Spotify listed as device available but when I click on it, it displays "Connecting..." and nothing happens. I called the Sonos support submitted the diagnostic report but they did not manage to find out the issue until now. Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem? I am just thinking to return it and ask for a refund. It just sounds like a big joke to me for the price we pay to have a so painfull experience of hours and hours just to connect from a phone whereas it takes just some seconds to connect in bluetooth with the cheapest speaker. Stephen

I have a Sonos Playbar approx 3 years old, is it possible to connect this to a peleton bike?

Setup:LG Oled B8 65 2x Sonos Play:1 1x Sonos Sub 1x Sonos ArcHi,My Arc is connected to the TV via HDMI Arc. All devices are connected to my router via wifi.The sound works fine with music, but when watching Movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime or from my Plex Server (with the tv apps and a shield tv) the sound drops out for some milliseconds and gets back afterwards. I guess it’s a problem with 5.1 sources?This happens quiete often and is really annoying. Is there something I can do to fix this?My diagnose id: 45732140. Thank you!

We have the Sonos ARC connected from our TV using HDMI eARC but we have terrible lip sync issues. All audio settings on Sky Q, TV and Sonos App have been updated to try and resolve the lip sync but the only thing we can do is to set the Sky Q Audio to Normal instead of Dolby Digital Plus.This means that we invested in the Sonos ARC to have no better sound output than we would with any cheaper soundbar. Why do we need to watch movies that have Dolby Atmos sound with Normal audio settings? Doesn’t that defeat the object of having the Sonos ARC?Are Sonos going to fix this issue?
