Hello all,I have rebuilt my home network a while ago and created an IoT VLAN in which my SONOS devices (4 One, 1 Beam) are located. All SONOS devices are connected via a Unifi AP to a pfSense router.I now have everything set up to the point where I can use the app from other VLANs. Unfortunately, I have the problem that my Beam is not found via AirPlay. Even when I am on the same network as the SONOS devices, it does not show up for me.The rules in pfSense are currently completely open for the SONOS products. So missing ports can't be it.Yesterday I reset all devices and set them up again. This also brought no success. Now it is so that the 2 rear speakers, which were connected to the Beam (have them now currently not grouped with the Beam again) were initially not visible in AirPlay, but since tonight already.In the SONOS app, all devices are displayed to me and I can also operate all functions from the app.A packet capturing showed me that all devices except the Beam regularly make t

I own a Sonos Beam and gave done since 2019 along with Sub and two One SL speakers as surrounds. My TV is a Samsung UE49KS9000 and my Beam is connected to it via HDMI to the one connect box on Port 4 which is the HDMI Arc port. i have three spare HDMI ports and these are taken up with a PS5, Xbox Series X and a 5 Port HDMI Switch. I have two devices connected to the HDMI switch: Sky Q box and Apple TV.  Everything works as it should. I can turn the TV on and off using Alexa, increase and lower volume via Alexa, although she no longer correctly tells you the volume level if you happen to forget it - she used two back when I first had the beam and I’ve reported this several times, anyway I digress.  So that’s the detailed background - here is my problem:I recently purchased a Sony UBP-X800M2 blu-ray player, I connected this to the HDMI switch and said “Alexa, Turn on TV” nothing. Just received two Sonos One SL that I ordered online at Best Buy, but their boxes are different. One is white and the other is brown.  Same color as regular carton boxes. Wondering if that’s normal. Both are supposed to be new.  

Recently purchased  Beam (Gen 2)...When Beam  is connected to Vizio TV...Audio cuts out, sometimes the picture cuts out, sometimes both cut out at the same time. Sometimes when these issues are occurring, the TV remote is unresponsive. I have set the CEC to ARC only, replaced both HDMI cables for TV and Beam...Had Comcast replace the cable box….nothing I have tried has worked. When I disconnect the Beam the TV works fineI have read other reviews that the Beam & Vizio TV’s have issues. Anyone have any suggestions before I return the Beam

Any help greatly appreciated. I have a 2021new OLED LG 55 Tv and the remote will not pair with the Beam.I have had to use the optical connection as the ARC is just not recognised for some bizarre reason.I have tried many times but the remote will not pair with the beam . The only way i can adjust the sound is via the APP.Any help appreciated. Thanks  

Hello,My dad has a Beam, and he was having trouble hearing the voices on it. So we recently got him two One SL’s, one of which we figured could go next to his chair.We quickly realized setting up the One SL’s as surround sound wasn’t the answer, as voices still come out of the Beam mostly.I can group the Beam and the One SL’s to play in sync, but it has to be manually tirggered at each One SL every time, by long pressing the Play button on each, when you turn the TV on.I’d like each One SL and the Beam to always be in sync when he turns his tv on, so he can hear it better. Is it possible to set them up in a group so it plays that way by default? Thanks!

I have tried running through the setup several times.  It will find the unit and goes through the setup, after entering the wifi password it comes back with the message that the unit may need to be reboot to show up in system.  After that it never sees the unit.  I can see the Sonos on the network it has an ip address and I can see port 1443 is open.  However the App never finds it on the network.  I have read that it does not handle SSID’s that are dual 2.4G and 5G so I do have an SSID for 2.4G only.  On both SSID’s I see the unit acquires an ip address (same ip), yet is not found.  I see comments on rebooting the router, which in my case will not make any difference as mine is a true pfsense router and have several AP’s throughout my network.   I can see the Sonos on the network so is communicating with the network just fine and the AP can ping the unit.  This is more the app not finding the unit on the network.

                               My sub gen 2, has started to make a rattling/distortion sound on the heavy end of bass.  I've tried resetting the settings a number of times, and the location. I believe it needs to be looked at. can anyone recommend someone in Brisbane please?    

I just got a second subwoofer to add to my Sonos Immersive set with arc which has 1 arc, 1 sub and 2 ones. When I attempted adding the second sub to the system It failed and said “there was a problem verifying your Sonos app” And also said “Error code 1002” I searched the error code up and did everything sonos says to do to resolve this error code and it didn’t work. I also tried going to my products in the sonos s2 settings and clicking on the product group of my home theatre and then scrolling down to the button which says “Connect second sub” when clicking on that button I was  given a note saying “ To connect a second sub add a sub to your Sonos system” I have a sub gen 3 connected to my home theatre system already so why am I receiving that note. I’m extremely frustrated and confused what is happening and wanting to figure this out. 

Hi. I own Sonos beam + 2x SL One as surround sound system connected to TV (thru hdmi). All speakers are connected to internet thru wifi (router has channel 11, sonosNet also 11).  Randomly during day, while watching movies or youtube videos (philips android TV), one or both ( i cannot say just from listening) SL speakers delays few ms themselves and we can notice annoying echo there.  From my investigation a solution for me is to go to Sonos app → Settings → Surround Audio - switch Off and On again. And this helps.  I sent diagnostics logs today (nr. 1146608852 , nr. 2094903246 ).  Can somebody investigate this and help me what can cause this issues? Sometimes happen 4-5x per day.  I have all my 3 devices in same room (grouped to one room virtually as well).   

Hi Folk,Set up my Beam today and was having lip sync issues when watching Prime through my Xbox Series X on a Samsung Q80 TV. I just want to share what fixed it. You need to set the Digital Output Audio Format to Pass-through. See the screenshot. Hope this helps. 

I currently have an ARC with a bonded Sub (gen 3) along with two Ones for surround in my den.  None of the current devices are hard wired and all works well.I have a connect amp as well as in-wall back speakers which I would like to use for the surrounds in the place of the pair of Ones. My question’s are: If I place a wired boost in the room, and wire the ARC to the connect amp, will this work?… will the Sub continue to work wirelessly connecting to the ARC?The other option I understand is to wire the ARC to the router, AND wire the connect amp to the router.  In this configuration, do I still need the boost and will the Sub continue to work wirelessly connecting to to the ARC?If both options work, which is better? Thanks much for your input! 

Sub connects to zone and shows up in app as working but as soon as you press play for that zone the sub light starts blinking green and won’t play.  Zone works otherwise.  I’ve tried many resets, hardwired connection, and 2 different subs.  Tech support didn’t know what to do so they are replacing both.  Has anybody seen this issue?

I just set up a brand new beam with my 2015 samsung TV through the arc port. It works great but each time I turn on my television the volume has reset to zero. How can I fix this? 

Does the Arc have to sit on the edge of the console if not mounted in order for the downward firing speakers to bounce off the floor and not the console? Or can it sit further back on the console?   

Hi guys,my sub can’t be connected at all. There’s no light no sound . I tried all ways on YouTube to ways to recover it but still nothing happens. And after reading some of the reviews I think I just make it to the top . 2years 4months and it’s just stops. Can any kind bros advice from here. 

Added pair of One SL’s to my Beam Gen2, no issues with wireless setup, added as stereo pair, etc... Beam Gen2 with One SL’s sounded great, performed great for about a week then suddenly disappeared.  Noticed no surround sound while watching UltraHD BluRay, SL’s no longer visible on app or appeared in system.  Went through EVERY support article, every troubleshooting tip available,  After hours of zero progress decided to factory reset One SL’s and start over.  App detected SL’s went through setup again. Setup fails at ‘connecting to wireless network’ stage. No changes were made to network, router rebooted, app and device restarted, all other devices including Beam working with no issue. Even went as far as resetting router (Verizon FIOS G3100 tri-band) back to factory and recreating my entire wireless network, new SSID, pw, etc… used ‘manage networks’ on app to update products, Beam located and updated to new network with no issues.  Tried to then re-add One SL’s, app, triggers audio p

After moving some furnitures in the living-room, I wanted to reconnect 2 play:1 with my sonos arc. And then everything went wrong !one of my play:1 is recognised as a play one SL. My play one in the bedroom , wich I did not moved, appears as an Arc… My arc appears as a one, etc etc. when I close the app, a diiferent configuration appears but never the Good one. Help please ! I have already restarted my router twice. 

I have a Sonos Beam (Gen 1) and 2 surrounds (Ones) for use in the kitchen. The purpose is to create even sound around the rather large kitchen. When the beam is used by itself, the volume must be turned up quite high for the person by the stove (with vent fan going) to hear audio accurately.  I added surrounds, hoping that I could send a mono signal out of all of the speakers spaced around the kitchen to even out the sound, so the level of each speaker can be lower. It seems that for TV sound, the only option is to stay in “surround sound” mode. Only sound effects or muffled speech to add audio depth comes out of the surround speakers which is not needed for listening to news programs while cooking or cleaning up. I can confirm that when listening to music the effect is fantastic with sound distributed evenly among the Beam and Ones. Can this same effect be accomplished for TV viewing?  I have thought about un-pairing the surrounds and using them as a separate group to duplicate the au

About 2 years ago I bought a LG model CXAUA TV and a Sonos Beam.  It worked fine for less than two months then the TV wouldn’t produce sound on the Beam.  You just got a circle with a line through it when you tried to adjust the volume.  I placed a warranty call on the TV and they replaced the motherboard and it all worked for a couple of years.  Then it happened again the other week.  Placed an extended warranty call and they replaced the motherboard yesterday at about 4:00.  It worked fine but then this morning, turn the TV on and no sound from the Beam.  Before I get another motherboard replacement I wanted to see if anyone else has any other ideas.  I’ve reset the TV to factory defaults.  Done the unplug everything and plug it back in movement.   Other steps I’ve taken:Replaced the HDMI cable. Verified SIMPLink is On. eARC was already on.  Turned it off and back on.Nothing.  Unplugged the Beam power cord for 10 seconds and plugged it back in to reboot it and still nothing.  Is the

Hello, I just purchased the Sonos Arc, Sub and 2 One rears pkg. I was trying to test the system by streaming music via airplay together with my 2 Apple Home Pods and 2 Home Pod minis. When all the speakers are playing together, only 1 of the 2 HomePod and 1 of the 2 HomePod mini plays with the Sonos pkg. Is this normal?Thanks,Eric

Hello everyone,I have a sonos 5.1 (Arc, 2 One SL, Sub) setup in a living room, and we have been noticing while listening to music via streaming from an app (Apple Music, Spotify) from within the sonos app, the sub audio stream cuts out for a varying period of time before coming back in. Doesn't seem to happen while watching movies or tv shows probably because the stream comes from the eARC rather than the internet.Things ive tried:*Changing the location of the sub to see if interference was a cause while all wireless mode.*Switching from a wireless setup to a wired setup (Arc wired to router, all others wireless on sonos net).*Switching to 2 wired (Arc and Sub wired, all other on sonos net)*Changing sonos net channel (Tried all 3, no fix)*Factory resetting Sub and re-adding to group (Both wired and wireless setups)*Resetting routerEven with both the Sub and Arc wired, the sub still cuts out so I don't think interference is still a problem. I play a 40hz pure sine wave through my sub at night to mask low frequency noise from outside. The volume of the sub is on the lowest setting. This has been good but recently it has started to 'pulse' rather than deliver a consistent tone which defeats the purpose of playing it. I removed and reinstalled the sub which seemed to help but even doing that isn't working now. Would anyone know how I can stop this pulsing or why it's happening?

I have the Arc, two Ones for surround and the Sub Gen 3 hooked up to eARC on my Toshiba E9 OLED (surrounds and sub are wireless).Arc is mounted below the tv.  Ones are behind the sectional.  The sub is against the wall to the right of the ARC.  The TV is in the corner. The app sees all the speakers.  When I turn the sub off in the app the bass sounds noticeably louder.  I’m concerned that the Sub has not connected correctly.

Hello!  I’m hoping someone on the forums here can help me determine if what I’m experiencing with my new sub is within the parameters of being normal or if I have an issue that I need to escalate to Sonos support. I got my sub on 2/12/2022 and immediately noticed a very low/faint hum and when I was down next to it tucking some desk wires into my tray, I heard a light tick, tick, tick, tick noise.  I have provided a video where I stick my phone right up to the hole and you can clearly hear both the hum and the tick.  Here are the specifics about the environment and t-shooting steps I’ve taken: -- Sub is paired with two play:1’s in a stereo pair in my office.  Will be generally used in conjunction with a Port and a CD player with occasional streaming via Amazon/Spotify/Pandora but mostly CDs via Port. -- Windows app and iOS app being used to control (mostly Windows app in office)-- I get the same thing if I carry the sub downstairs and pair it with my new Five in the living room or leave
