Hi I have a Sony ag9 4K olde and have Sonos sound bar. I can’t use my Sony remote to turn volume up or down on the sound bar I have to use my sky remote

I’ve had a look into your system and can see that you’re using a Sonos Playbar. As the Playbar will be connected via optical, it will only allow Infrared (IR) remotes to control it.
Most TV remotes have support for IR, even if they use Bluetooth or Radio Frequency (RF). If your remote uses one of these but not IR, you’ll need to perform some additional setup to have it meet our remote requirements. The best way to check this is via the remote manual or with Sony support.
If your remote is IR, then I’d suggest performing the Remote Control Setup in the Sonos app to see if that resolves the volume control issue. Please note that if the specific remote doesn’t have access to IR even with additional setup, then that remote cannot be used with the Playbar.
