But, 1 second audio dropouts occur whilst using either the Nintendo or the PlayStation. The dropouts occur every minute or so for 1 second.  I’ve tried turning everything off and back on etc and disconnecting all devices except one of the consoles and the beam but the issue remains. Any help greatly appreciated, a bit gutted spending all that money for something I can’t use whilst playing games.

Hello!I’m back after another 6 months of daily struggle using my home theater setup in regards to audio.I posted here and got some suggestions at the time, which I tried to no avail.I’ve been in contact directly with Sonos and Samsung several times to no avail.It doesn’t seem like this is something that should be so incredibly hard to sort out.I fight with this setup daily to get audio to stream through it at all (much less reliably!).The TV interface audio, the “DVD” style menu audio (in places like Apple TV movies section where I’ve purchased movies), all commercials (Hulu commercials, opening “ads” for other shows on Prime and TV+, etc.) always play audio.However, when the actual movie audio stream starts (or restarts, etc.), 5 times out of 10 there is no sound. I have to exit and re-play the stream sometimes up to 10 times to get audio. Sometimes I have to power everything off and back on to get stream audio.This happens even when I’m watching a show on Hulu with audio, the commerc

I set up a new Sonos system today and am having problems with getting sound from the Sub.  My system consists of the following:--Two Sonos Ones connected by wifi--Arc connected by wifi--Sub paired with the Arc and connected to the router via ethernetFrom the beginning, I cannot get sound to play out of the sub. I have tried all the usual remedies including resetting the router, powering off all Sonos devices, factory resetting the sub and reinstalling, and switching the Sub connection from wireless to wried.  I checked by sliding the sub bass level back and forth on bass heavy content. None of these steps have helped.This is the second Sonos system I have set up in the last 6 months and I had the same problem with my first system. When I installed a Boost via ethernet to my router, on my other system, that solved the problem. I do not have a Boost on my current system, but could acquire one if that is the solution (although it seems odd to have to have a Boost for the Sub to work).Is i

Trying to set up the ARC soundbar via WiFi, but when the app is trying to locate it my phone's Bluetooth crashes and won't continue the set up. I've tried resetting everything, same thing happens every time. Any help would be greatly appreciated 👍

I recently purchased the Sonos Ray Soundbar for my family’s Samsung TV. Frustratingly the soundbar won’t recognise the Samsung One remote to change the volume unless I’m standing right next to it (If I’m not within 30cm of the soundbar it won’t change the volume). I’ve followed the sonos guide on setting up the Samsung One remote, I’ve tried setting up the soundbar under a different brand as some other threads mentioned and I’ve changed the batteries on the remote and nothing has fixed this. Is there any solution to this frustrating problem?

My sub won,t power up.  No light and is listed as missing by the app.  Tried different power outlets, leaving unplugged overnight etc. Any hopes here or is it dead?  If so that’s pretty poor for an expensive device only a couple of years old.

Bought a Samsung QE55QN85B 4 weeks ago and connected to a Sonos Beam Gen2 bought on 6 Aug. Both devices have the latest updates. HDMI cable supplied with Sonos is ok and connected to HDMI eARC. No issues streaming to Sonos from iPhone but sound from TV drops. Have tried every combination of switching off and restarting TV/Sonos, have gone through every set up option on TV. Tv shows output to Sonos Beam. Sonos app shows it thinks it’s connected to the TV and adjusting volume on TV shows same adjustments on Sonos app. However there is no sound from the Beam. Best I’ve achieved is to get sound from You Tube on TV but as soon as I changed to Disney+ sound was jittery and then stopped altogether. Have phoned John Lewis for technical support for the TV, reset the TV and redone the connections. For about 3 minutes had sound from the Beam but then stopped. John Lewis are now exchanging the TV as we are assuming it’s a fault with the TV. I saw that I can setup surround with SL One with Beam, but with two speakers...not one.I can tied them together or via the play/pause button, but Id rather have them auto connected.Is it possible to setup both as speakers for my tv?

Is there any work around or additional product to get the Sony XBR-48A9S Remote (it is NOT an IR remote) to control volume on Sonos Ray?

Hi, I have an issue where the speakers in the back and the sub gets deactivated by them selfs almost every day i my home theater set up. This is always at the first use of the day and never in the middle of playing a sound.Is this normal? I always have to activate them manually in the app. When I get home they are blinking slowly with green.I use the arc, sub gen 3 and 2 of the one sl.

So I thought I’d got this Sonos system off to a tee . Connected my play ones with my ray as a system and worked fantastic until I switched on tonight ray and the stereo system with the play ones all connected and showing in the app all good and connected but the problem is there’s no sound coming from the surrounds just the ray even though it’s showing all good in app I can adjust volume etc as normal but nothing coming out any thoughts on what’s wrong I’ve tried removing them and then adding them back but it’s the same no sound for the surrounds  thanksnin advance 

Hi, I just got my Sonos Arc (without sub). I was wondering how to tune Trueplay if you have 3 corner walls only. So my wall looks like:Front: where the tv is and the window at the backLeft: Concrete side wall with the couchBack: Couch with a wall (this is where I sit to watch)Right: Open spaceShould I tune on three walls or also do some tuning on the right side even though it is open space? 

I recently added a ray to my living room Tv. I already four speakers wired to a sonos amp in this room. I am trying to add the existing speakers to the ray to create surround. The online setup runs as it should but the connection fails every time and erases the amp from my system. The result is I have to restart the amp and I don’t get the surround sound desired.  Am I missing something?  I can pair the speakers, but since they aren’t truly setup as surround they just echo, it isn’t the desired outcome. Please help. 

Hi guys I’ve just upgraded from a Sonos play bar to a Beam gen 2 and finding it a bit confusing which settings to set up on the PS5.I also have a sonos sub and 2 sonos 1’s as surroundsI can only get 7.1 output on pcm but there is also Dolby and Dolby dts setting but they show 5.1could someone advise best settings on ps5 please to get best out of my setup ? Thanks in anticipation 

I am connecting an Audio Technica Turntable to my Sonos system using a Sonos Ray, using an analogue to digital converter and connecting this to the Ray bar. The Ray will not detect the optical signal from the converter. I have tested it by connecting it to the optical input on my Denon Amp and it works perfectly but the Ray will not detect it? If I connect an optical cable from the DVD player to the Ray it works but it will not work with the signal from the optical signal from analog to digital converter?

My sonos app is no longer shuffling my apple music library. This needs to be fixed asap. I have around 1000 songs in my library. I have had sonos for over 5 years and I have used sonos for music everyday. I use it with my Samsung galaxy s10+. Not being able to shuffle music is a deal breaker so if this doesn't get fixed, I will be looking into other sound systems. 

I have a Sumsung tv and firestick pluged into on of the HDMI ports. I just bought an Arc and set it up and plugged it into the HDMI ARC port and the firestick is not working now at all, no on/off, no sound no anything. It was working fine witha samsung sound bar and optical. I can use the samung apps built into TV and the sound works fine though the ARC sound bar just nothing with the firestick. Help haha

The moment I unplug the soundbar Netflix is showing Dolby Atmos (since my tv supports this). I wonder if I am doing something wrong, but I thought Netflix would show me Atmos with this setup. Can somebody help me with this or explain why this isn't working?   If you need any more information, let me know!Thank you in advance!

I have speech enhancement turned on with the arc, but I'm still trying to find out how to hear dialogue better. Is it possible to have a Sonos one SL or another less expensive speaker configured to exclusively play voices?Has anyone else ever experienced the arc with only one back speaker? In that case, how did that sound?

Hi There I bought a new Sonos Beam. It connected initially to the Sonos app on iOS. It then just disappeared and now it won’t reconnect and cannot be found. I have unplugged the Ethernet, HDMI and tried resetting the system but nothing. It works with TV via the HDMI but isn’t registering on the Sonos app. Help! 

Hi, I made the original post below about 4mo ago. I was given the below solution in blue. I tried the solution & it didn’t work. I’ve been looking for the original Sonos HDMI cable, which I can’t find. I came back to this & tried again. I even did a Android software update to see if that would fix this. Nothing seems to work I followed the instructions exactly & the TV recognized the Sonos. My Sonos app, when I did TV Setup, said I was all set & connected to the TV. The Sonos device made a sound, but there simply is not TV audio coming through my Sonos. When i increase volume, the Sonos lights up but teh TV does not show any volume increase. This is so bizarre, because when I purchsed the Sonos & connected to TV 1st time everything worked perfectly & Sonos gave TV sound for about a year. Then just stopped. Nothing I do solves this. Sonos works fine for music on the Sonos speaker network. Can someone PLEASE help. Is this a Sonos problem or Sony problem??Original

Everything was working fine with my arc and Panasonic tv.But after the last Sonos update:The tv sound is not in sync.The (sky) remote no longer controls the arc volume/mute but now controls the tv instead.The tv sound plays at different sync to arc at the same time. Not sure what’s got out of whack. Any help welcome.thanks 

I am hoping someone can help. We have Sonos, a Beam (with TV plugged in via ARC), an amp (with turntable), an old Play 3 and a Roam.I am having real problems connecting the TV to the system. I can get it to play through the Beam, but not the other speakers, which was my hack for a surround sound type TV watching experience.This is a recent problem, and I've done the basics (all updates, unplug from power, unplug ARC, etc.) and still doesn't work.Sometimes the other speakers show up in my controller (sometimes they do not), and even if I crank the volume on the amp and the play 3, no sound comes out.I do find this constant connection issues frustrating with Sonos.Side note: primarily my wife uses the Beam voice controlled with Alexa, not sure if that is related or not.Any advice warmly appreciated.
