Sonos Play 5 Gen 2 in surround (2 units) to connect to tv samsung soundbar

Is this possible?

I have:

An older Samsung LCD TV UN55F7060

Samsung Soundbar with wireless sub

2 units of Play 5 Gen 2

Any way to have the Play 5s to pair to the tv and watch movies with it? Maybe use the Plays as 2 rear speakers?

No, afraid not, to get the Play;5 (gen2) speakers as part of your HT setup, you would need to replace the Samsung Soundbar/Sub with a Sonos Soundbar & Sonos Sub (optional, but recommended) and utilise those Samsung products elsewhere, or sell those.

Thanks Ken. That’s what I assumed . need a Sonos product to connect to the TV, then it can pair together to the Play5 gen2 surrounds
