Hi all,I just upgraded my ones to the 300s to pair with my arc and sub gen 3. I would like to first say that I am so far pleased with the results when compared to my other setup with beam and ones in a different room. The room I have this setup in is a relatively smaller/regular sized bedroom with the arc about 10 to 12 feet in front and the 300s about 2 to 3 ft on either sides on bedstands slightly diagonally behind. The sub is adjacent to the TV on the TVs left side facing towards me. My objective is to enjoy more dolby atmos content than stereo music content. I have also done trueplay tuning.I would like to know what other users with the arc/300s/sub gen 3 set up have done to fully optimize their dolby atmos experience. This could include tinkering with the EQ settings, height/sub volume, bass, etc, as well as positioning. I understand that rooms differ per person, I haven't measured mine yet. I would appreciate any advice! Thanks.

Hi,I’ve changed my TV  to wall hanging and thus the playbar also to wall hanging - hence I’ve had to change the previous optical / toslink cable to a new one with 90-degree plugs. In principle I only need this on the backside of my TV, but the cable has 90-degree plugs at both ends.Oddly my Playbar keeps saying it does not receive sound signal from the TV via the new cable - however I can see there is a red light in the cable so a signal should be there.I’ve tried resetting the Playbar and installing it again, but it’s still the same.I’ve tried the connection again with the old cable (with straight plugs) which works.Anyone good ideas?…..other then to use the excuse to upgrade to an Arc.Rgs and thanksMartin

Hello Community:i am using a Philips Ambilight TV 55OLED805/12 with an Arc via HDMI and 2 Solo One SL for Surround. All on a strong WiFi.I am experiencing an echo if I put my advanced audio setting on the TV to Multichannel or Multichannel (Bypass). Turning the surround off via the app does noch resolve the issue and the echo is very notable on the Arc, especially with people talking. If I turn advanced audio setting on the TV to Stereo the echo disappears. Any guidance how I can use Multichannel without experiencing an echo?Appreciate all answers and advice upfront. Can I add 1 era 300 to my current setup of the arc and sub gen 3. Plan on getting another era 300 when budget permits.

I can't figure out which cable(s) I need to connect my Beam to my Bush LED TV.

My Beam Gen 2 / Sub Gen 3 / Sonos One Gen 2 setup has been pretty much rock solid since it was set up. However over the last week I’ve started to see problems with my Right Surround speaker disconnecting several times a day. I can only get it to reconnect by restarting the speaker.All devices on my network have fixed IP address, and I’ve kept a close eye on my router to ensure nothing else is sneakily connecting to the same IP as my speaker. I haven’t added any new devices to my network for months.I also powered off every network device and restarted my router an hour ago, and the surround has already dropped off again.  My Beam is hard-wired to the router, with the surrounds and sub connected via SonosNet. Here’s my network matrix when everything is connected:Workingand here’s my network matrix when the right surround has dropped off:Not Working I’ve just submitted diagnostic 522827366 - would it be possible for somebody to take a look to see if there’s anything obvious happening? Hi, Ran into this issue twice, the only way to solve this, is to disconnect and reconnect the surrounds. Tested using the 7.1.4 testtone file is this a bug?

Hi, Just upgraded my Sonos Beam gen 1 to a Sonos ARC (have Sub gen 3, and 2 One SL) but I cant help feeling that some sounds are not quite as they should be. For exampel when watching Top Gun Maverick I feel the sounds of the F-18’s flying around are too low sometimes nearly missing compared to the Beam. The same goes for Star Wars were I have the feeling that when lasers shoot they are very quiet compared to the music and all the other sounds. Feels like these sounds should stand out more. Dont know if I have not setup the system correctly or if this is just how it is.

We recently purchased the arc and sub which worked and sounded great together.My fiancé then purchased 2 moves and paired those to the arc + sub but app wouldn’t allow the same room so we added them to “family room 2” and ever since then we cannot get all to work together with the Sub, the sub will just mute itself and will need to be removed and readded.  When we ungroup the moves, the sub seems to work fine with the arc. Just wondering if the moves are not meant to be paired in this way? I realize you cannot pair just the moves to the sub but we do have the arc so in theory they should all work together, no?

I just moved my tv/Sonos surround sound system to a new room.  How can I get Sonos to re-calibrate the sound?

I have new LG TV with eARC port connected via HDMI to a Beam 2 and 2 Era 300’s and a Sub Gen 3 for my surround system.  Apple TV 4K connected to the TV via HDMI.  According to the S2 app, I’m getting a Stereo PCM signal even when streaming a movie offered in Dolby Atmos. I can play Dolby Atmos music to the system (sounds awesome!!)Any suggestions?

Hi,I've been using a Sonos Playbar and a few Play 1 speakers for many years now for a 5.0 type configuration. For playing music we mostly use a handy iOS device and this works very well. Occasionally the nearby Windows 10 PC hooked-up to the Bravia TV is also used to play music on the local NAS, using the Sonos windows application.After a recent upgrade of the motherboard and a higher gen Intel CPU, I've noticed some strange occurrences with the NVIDIA HD audio drivers freshly installed on the “new” upgraded desktop PC. Some problems encountered : (1) Audio cutting out when booting the PC, (2) some crackling/popping sounds when playing YouTube videos, (3) booting the PC and finding my audio settings in the sound panel reset to default stereo, 16-bit 44.1KHz (this happens 70% of the time), and generally a problematic audio output coming from the NVIDIA graphics card that’s going to the Bravia TV via HDMI (and to the Sonos Playbar via optical).Not ever suspecting that the Sonos windows a

I have a Samsung Frame TV 2022, AppleTV 4k and a Sonos Beam Gen 2 connected via the supplied cable in the eARC port on the tv.  Things have generally been working well for the last 5-6 months, but today, I get no sound from it when watching TV--instead I get a machine gun-like ticking noise. (It doesn't go full volume like other posters have said). It should be noted that the Beam plays audio perfectly fine from the app. I’ve unplugged everything and reconnected it (i get the Sonos Chime on setup), to no avail. Support was not helpful.  The system diagnosis did not reveal anything. Any one have this experience? Possible Fixes?

Please be gentle, Tech challenged here.I have a smart TV, but an older model. It has 1 HDMI port. I have a SONOS Beam connected to the arc port. Roku is running on the HDMI port. I have a blue ray player with HDMI cable. How do I connect it to the tv so sound can play through the Beam without having to unplug cables?

Hi community members! I have a question about speaker groups and hope you can help. Here’s the scenario:I have my main home theatre set up (Arc, Surrounds, Sub) as one group called “TV Room”  I have an additional set of Sonos speakers in another group called “Dining Room” whenever I’m watching TV from the Dining Room area, I use the app to connect the Dining Room speakers to the TV room speakers.  I was wondering if there is a way to use Google Assistant/Alexa to do it via voice command rather than using the Sonos App. Thanks for reading, please advise!    

I have 2 Sonos ports connected to an amplifier. It looks like the Sonos ports always output some sort of audio line output so the amplifier doesn’t power off.  I have seen it off once but it is very rare.  Does anyone know what causes the Port to output voltage on the audio out or more importantly what causes it to turn off the audio output? examplesApp is connected pause or playanytime it is powered  I can’t really use the trigger as the amp only allows for 1 trigger and I have 2 ports. 

Hi. I’m having a problem with my Sonos Ray dropping audio while using the Youtube app through my Apple TV 4K.  The Ray is connected optically obviously as there isn’t another option and it seems to only drop audio with Youtube. However, the other day it did the same with Amazon Prime Video but that’s only been once.  We also have an LG tv.  Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi All,I recently picked up a Beam (Gen 2) and a pair of SYMFONISK to upgrade my home theater. Everything is connected and when playing sonos content via the app, I get sound coming from all of the speakers.When I connect my ancient (pre-2010) Toshiba 40xf550u, I’m not getting surround sound from my PS5 or AppleTV. The Toshiba has two options for sound PCM and Dolby Digital. I’ve selected both it doesn’t seem to have an affect. I suspect that the Toshiba isn’t capable of sending the Dolby Digital despite saying it can, at least for HDMI sources. The only thing in the manual about limits on Dolby Digital out is the generic statement:The DIGITAL AUDIO OUT terminal may not output some digital audio sources because of copy restrictions.Nothing in the manual indicates what those digital audio source limitations might be.  Is there a way to check in the Sonos app what type of audio is being received? I also tried an HDMI switch with audio out and had the same problem, but it’s one of the che

I would like to configurate my new Sub with my existing Arch and Move. I tried through the app but bluetooth it doesn’t recognize it. When I plug it light is white, when I push longer light is blinking orange.Any help?

Hi Have read forums but am still struggling and apologies for the ramble but am hoping this triggers something. I have a Home Theater set up with Sonos Arc, Sub Gen 3 and a pair of SLs. All was working fine for a year and half or so but have been having problems since then. The rear Left SL used to keep dropping off the surround set up. I never managed to work out what was going on as it would either remarkably join, or I would do the old “reboot router” trick and that would sometimes work I put it down to the location in my room (I have an Orbi Mesh router with the satellite being in close proximity to the Sonos). I tried to swap the rear left and rear right round and all was fine for a while until the rear Right (the old left) SL disconnected. After reading some forums I connected the Arc via ethernet to the Orbi Satellite and all looked good! I checked the Orbi and based on the ip’s all four Sonos were wired to the Orbi.  The next today the rear right Sonos SL has dropped off again.

I purchased a Sonos Beam Soundbar.  Several issues: [1] I cannot figure out exactly what model it is. Serial number is A100 C103CP 48-A6-B8-**-**-**-*. There's a prominent barcode BEAM1US2SDW which looks like maybe a model number[2] Please tell me what surround speakers and subwoofer are compatible.  Moderator edit: removed serial number

There’s been much discussion about clicks, pops, etc. Sonos will fix this, so I’m not concerned. I’m considering replacing One SL’s with ERA 300’s as surrounds with an ARC and Sub. Is it worth the investment? Do the ERA 300’s significantly improve the ATMOS experience?

I’m a bit raw to all this, in achieving optimum sound balance for Arc and two 300’s as surround speakers. I currently have my 300’s around 4 feet away and level with my Arc and sub mini at the front (until I get my floor stands). I watched a film in Atmos last night and wasn’t sure what volume level to have the 300’s set at. Whatever I did, nothing seemed to give me the up and around effect in helicopter scenes etc. I have the sub mini bass set on zero (due to bass from Arc and 300’s). Any ideas please? I’m aware that in surround mode, the centre speakers on the 300’s is weak; but even then the Atmos height and surround effects were weak. TIA.
