Morning all I have a ps5 connected to arcana to Samsung tvive tried everything (I think)  cannot get atmos while playing games or while streaming Amazon or Netflix etc. any suggestions?of note when I connect fire stick to arcana I can get atmos through amazon only on jack ryan 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️help please many thanksjon 

I have the 2nd gen beam and 2 era 300s on either side right next to my tv (not behind, but in the built-ins right next to the tv in the front of the room). The beam is plugged in to the tv and the eras connect to the beam through Bluetooth. When I play music I can set the eras to play full sound. How do I do this when the tv is playing?? Since they are in the front of the room, I do not want them playing “background” noise like they do when they’re set up as surrounds. I want them playing full sound. 

Why does the sound keep going off when Beam connected to TV

Hi all, I had a beam gen 1 that i was trying to use on the TV that came with my apartment. I had it with surrounds and i was trying to get it to play 5.1 audio to no avail. When i looked online it said to check on the tvs settings what audio format it would come out as but there is no option for this. For reference it’s a techwood tv i searched the model number online and there was no info about it at all. The beam was connected via hdmi arc. I sold the beam gen 1 as in the end i had to use a different tv with it to work in surround sound but now i need that other tv back and i was wanting to try and get a gen 2 beam or arc. I was wondering is there any point in me buying a gen 2 if i can’t get surround sound to work on the tv or if anyone know how to get it to work. Edit: I have an apple tv connected to the tv as well and i was wondering if there was a way that i can connect it just to that with an adapter of some sort? i just want to be able to get surr

Add a multi channel to the system. Let me join 2 amps to make a 7.1 System.    Most people I sell your product to don’t understand surroundsound, and they want to hear the rears they want to hear dialogue   The option of a multi channel would be awesome. I would be able to sell a lot more amps.  

Hello Everyone, Even though i would have loved it I cannot install an Arc or Beam on my wall at the moment.So i am looking to get a Sonos Amp connected to my Samsung One Box. would it work so i get TV sound from the Sonos Speaker Latency ? If I get an 800€ “adapter” :) I’d like to get something that works right Thanks for your input

I understand that the Era 300 is not compatible with SonosNet but what is not clear to me is if I have them set as surrounds with an ethernet connected Sonos Arc do they use SonosNet to connect to the Arc or some other wireless connection with the Arc? If it’s SonosNet does that mean I can’t have the Arc connected to Ethernet if I’m using the Era 300 as surrounds?

Hello there, I have been using the beam gen 2, later on added the symfonisk picture frame around 2 meters behind me for a better surround sound and yesterday I got the sub mini but I'm confused as to what the recommended settings for all of them together would be in my case. I mainly use them for metal/rock music (and movies of course) as I have it connected on my desktop pc so I'm standing right in front of the beam. "Sadly", I use android and so does every person in my circle so I can't calibrate the speakers with trueplay. The room where the speakers are, is medium sized. Also, does the positioning of the sub mini matter? I have it pretty close to the beam and have them both paired together instead of the symfonisk. 

I have a problem where there isn’t any sound at all from youtube app.  I have a samsung tv and an arc soundbar.  It looks like the app may have bee updated on 8/30/2023 which is about when the sound stopped.  I can get sound by unplugging the tv and going directly to youtube app.  If I leave the app and come back, no sound.

I need instructions on how to delete/remove two Era300s that are currently set up as separate rooms and add them as surrounds for my existing Arc. If there is online documentation, I may have just missed it somehow.  Thank you   

I have what I believe is a connection problem. When originally set up I was able to play audio from my TV through Sonos. It now won’t. The connection was RCA from audio out on the TV to a converter that transferred RCA to Cat 5 that ran @ 20’ down to basement located SONOS Connect:AMP. Before the Connect:AMP, the Cat 5 was converted back to RCA to make the Connect:AMP connection. All was well until I replaced the TV with a Samsung QN85 that didn’t provide for an RCA connection for Audio out. I ran an optical cable from the TV to an optical/ RCA converter to then connect with the existing Cat 5. Ran fine for 6 months then stopped. It’s either a connection issue or I’ve changed some setting on the TV by mistake. Any thoughts? Thanks Moderator edit: changed Amp to Connect:AMP  for clarity/accuracy x2.

I just installed my Arc + Sonos Era 300 and my Arc sound bar only makes gunshot sound

Can anyone explain how Sonos mathematics work?I have an item in my cart to checkout and they are applying a 15% discount that just doesn’t add upproduct price $2798 with a 15%discount however discount is only showing as $375 i/o $419.70🤪🤪

My Sonos Beam 1 and Samsung TV (Link to Samsung TV) sound great when they work properly.  However, I have had ongoing problems with the sound breaking up (almost like a long-distance call with a bad connection) when you hear intermittent words.It isn’t all the time but I don’t know what to do.  I have spoken to tech support and they weren’t overly helpful.  I installed the App on my phone and can confirm that the issue does not occur if I play Sonos Radio.It is to the point where I would consider buying something new (like Sonos 2) or a different brand if I could be assured that the problem will go away.Any suggestions on how to isolate problem or fix?

 Hi this is my current setup with 75inch + Sonos Arc. My question is whether this setup is fine or would this make the sound quality lower ? As you can see I have a fire place and can't go any lower and making the TV go higher means it's too high. So would this cause any sound quality issues?  Also the upward firing speakers are definitely open and is not blocked - so is it still a problem ? 

So after 10 years I decided to sell off all my Sonos. I had enough with the nonsense.Here are the reasons:STP issues with my Unifi networks resulting in frequency cut outs and broadcast storm (SONOS ARC, SONOS BEAM) Notification connection led on any speaker that cannot understand that blinking at 2AM is pointless (Any speakers) Lack of support for advance DTS (SONOS ARC, SONOS BEAM) Tiny power button (SONOS ROAM) Many steps necessary to turn off device (SONOS ROAM) Charging a battery operated speaker can not be done when speaker is off (SONOS ROAM) Wireless charging using tiny coils that corrode and break (SONOS MOVE) Lack of native support for things like Airplay 2 (Any speakers)But more importantly I think the company and engineers are completely are lost and struggle to design a great ecosystem that just works.  Ciao.

Hi,I have an Arc, 2xEra100 and Sub in a surround setup and hope someone with experience can help. When using these as TV output all is great. However, when with Surround Audio > Music Playback > Full set, when music is being played (eg. Spotify, airplay), there is a slight delay to the Era100 output such that it sounds like a slight echo. Noticeable especially with spoken word. Is this normal? Bearing in mind that these aren’t a group of speakers (I.e you might expect and accept a tiny delay between rooms) but are actually connected and appear as one single “Product” in the Sonos app.

Last night all of the sudden my Sonos Beam stopped working with my Samsung TV. I tried everything from resetting both the TV and Sonos device to trying different cables. Turns out I needed to turn off Dolby Digital Plus in the TV audio settings. Unfortunately, the Beam (Gen 1) does not support this audio format. Hope this helps others 😀

My Beam 1 has a hair line cracking forming that goes all the way along the top edge, almost all the way around the whole speaker. It is kept out of direct light, and is minimally handled (only for cleaning) and has never been dropped or hit. Is anyone else experiencing cracking in their products?

i have been using my beam for a few years. although i can still play music and i can see it is added to my tv, i can no longer hear the tv on it.i rebooted the system but had no effect changed the hdmi cable , no effect when going into the setting of my tv samsun frame i can see the anynet+ is on. i turn it off and back on and for a few seconds i can hear the sound then it stopped again.the Tv sound works fine without the beam.any advice?

Last couple of days, during movie watching I’ve noticed that sound suddenly stops from the One SL right surround. After noticing this the sound comes and goes throughout the movie. I opened the app and there was a notification that One SL Right and Sub were not connected. It said to turn them off and on again. I did and the app said that they were connected now. Continued watching and it seemed fine for a while but then they were both disconnected again and audio dropouts started. Next thing was resetting the router. Again it seemed ok for a while but then the dropouts started. What are the next steps to fix this?Arc is connected to ethernet but the other 3 other speakers are not. The channel set in Sonos Network is channel 1 for communication between the speakers and there’s also the option for 6 and 11. Again changing between the 3 channels doesn’t seem to make a difference.

How can I configure my Sonos PLAYBAR to be controlled using my TV remote control (Sony Bravia)?I don’t have any other Sonos products, nor do I want to have to use a different device (i.e., Sonos app on my phone) to change the volume of my TV. My Sonos PLAYBAR is not currently connected to my Wifi network. Does it need to be in order to use my TV remote to control the volume. Thanks for any help.     

I have a sonos arc and amp connected to two speakers and an elura sub. I can run music over the amp and it works fine, but if I try to run the amp as surround speakers the sub stops working. The documentation states that this is what happens when you do this but gives no explanation for why or how to fix it. How do I run the sub in surround mode?

Hi, I have been using my Beam with a Samsung TV for over 2 years with no issues but iit has just started losing connection with the Beam when the TV is turned on after being on Standby. I have tried every solution offered on forums etc with no result.There is a work round by unplugging the TV and then it works OK. Obviously this isn't ideal and wonder if anyone else has a similar issue and found a solution.  

Hi you Good People out there….Well,i got some questions to ask so i can get a better understanding of this. Anyway,here it goes:I have basicly tree rooms with Sonos-items. My livingroom down stairs,a livingroom upstairs and my bedroom.All these rooms got a Panasonic 10yo+ plastma-tv each. And with their 2022 Apple TV 4k( 3xPansonic tv&3xApple TV in total)Livingroom upstairs got the Cinema-setup with the Beam G2, ERA 100 and 2xSub G3….and a Arcana HDfury(the only one i got)Bedroom got ERA 100’s in stereo,and the livingroom downstairs got two pairs of Ikea BS speaker.Everything have been working ok. And i got the same issues as others when it comes to how to use the side-menu on Apple TV to dissble TV speakers,and hook off for either ERA or BS. Well you follow me so far right?Ok,the Ikea BS’es i have one pair under my tv(places where a future Ray/Beam/Ark would be located) and the other Ikea BS i bought the org stands and did a foot
