Hello, my sonos Beam 1 has been fine for about a year, but gas recently disconnected its self and despite the sonos app recognising its presence, it doesn't automatically associate and connect to my WiFi. App requests manual inputting of WiFi and password address and then fails to connect. I have tried all available resets. My WiFi works consistently well with the 4 x Play 1s I have.

Hi,I have been spending quite a few hours trying to put my pair of ERA 100 speakers to join my beam.1- Did try to setup wifi differently (changed channel, and alot of other settings like QoS to try to see if it was an issue with the router, but its not)2- Did try to fix my SONOS devices ip addresses (Now my device are fixed but the problem persist)What i observe is this:1 - I can join my ERA 100 no problems in pair.2- The Beam is connected through optical to my TV3- I can unjoin the pair with no problems. (when i try to make the surround, i make sure they are not joined) 4- I can play music on all my devices (The pair, the beam and the Symfonisk)5- As soon as i try to “Set up Surrounds”, everything starts but at some point it never ends. On the 10 time or so i did try, only one time the setup finished with a “victory chime”. But then, my ERA speakers are “offline”, power cycling them will not bring them back up, i have to reset to factory to get them to work again. I am able to replica

Hello everyone. I need advice on the positioning of the era 300 , as they are mounted now they are an eye sore and don't like the angle of those.How would you mount them in this space , it's very limiting to mount them and only place I believe is above the windows on both sides. This way it could be mounted almost straight to the TV (slight angle as the wall arc a little bit.Can the power cable be extended or just any longer white cable would do to power them ?I am attaching photos here (don't mind the mess :D ) 

After two years of no problems my Arc will no longer communicate with my LGCX via eArc. The Arc works via the app (I can stream music) but the sound bar won’t play sound from the TV.  What was working this morning isn’t working this evening.  Nothing has changed.   I reran the setup via the Sonos app but now the eArc setup won’t complete successfully.  

I got the arc, sub, and 2 play one on my living room and I’m planning to get the era 300. My question is what’s the best setup for them while keeping the play one in the setup.

Hi, I’ve set up my beam gen 1 and connected mini sub and 2x one sl, the TV only plays through the beam but Spotify plays through all speakers. TV is a Skyglass. Anyone have any suggestions?Cheers.

Latest gen Apple TV 4K + HDFury Arcana + Sonos Arc, Sub, 2x Era 300. Cannot get this setup to play any audio out of the rear speakers when playing PCM Multichannel content. Works great when playing Atmos and even getting audio from the rears when playing Stereo PCM.  I don’t have this issue with the Nintendo Switch, Xbox or PS5. Only the Apple TV.  This is driving me nuts, anyone else have this issue?

Hi, I'm looking for a solution that allows me to send an analogue signal via an auxiliary to the Toslink port on the Ray sound bar. I have noted that the old ZP90 can uprate and send a digital signal from the optical output.my concern is the S1 and S2 apps and the compatibility of the 2 components, is anyone doing this already or any suggestions ?    thank you 

My Sonos Beam is working for music and on the base Sony Bravia TV home page, but for some reason it won’t sync with Xfinity or Apple TV.  I can adjust sound on the Sonos app when I enter apps via my Sony home page (which never get used) or if I switch to play music. But whenever I try to watch normal TV (basic tv via xfinity cable) or switch the input to my Apple TV, I cannot get any sound.Any insights are greatly appreciated. 

BonjourDepuis mon achat de l'arc et du sub, j'ai des coupures avec les Era 100 (au nombre de 3).Pour info, 10 mettre entre le routeur et la arc qui est la plus loin. La arc est branchée en filaire et les Era en wifi.J'ai regardé le wifi dans la pièce est bon.Je ne vois pas quoi faire car je pense que c'est quand tout le monde est sur le réseau.Je suis à la limite de tout renvoyer 😭Merci

Hello everyone, pre ordered a pair of Era 300 with wall mounts, I want to use them as rear speakers with Arc and Sub. Could you please help me? I’m not a native English speaker so please, understand me if I write something incorrect :)Most of the people have te sofa against the wall, in my case I can leave 50cm to 1m space from wall to the sofa, but I’m so scared to do something wrong. My room is quite big, my sofa height is 1.10m with headrest included. I was thinking to put the speakers above the armrests of the couch (wall mounts), a little over the ear level (this because of the headrest, I think it will “block” the sound somehow) so from 1.10m up, would that be a good thing to do? Over the speakers I’ve got a lot of space, it’s not a problem leaving 60cm above the speakers, same thing with the sides, I can leave 20cm at the sides of the speakers without problem. Then it comes the distance from wall to the couch, I can leave up to 1 meter of space. What would you do if you were me?

Looking for advice on best Sonos setup to hear tv dialogue all the way in the back of our living room/kitchen “great” room. see picture. Current setup is tv above fireplace with Sonos beam gen 2 below it. I want to easily hear tv dialogue while I’m doing the dishes or cooking (where the red x is) and the beam is 20+ ft away and underpowered for this. I know you can’t add front speakers to beam, so is there any way to hear dialogue decently from the back of the room? I tried to add One’s for surround sound but they typically don’t play dialogue in the rear channels.  Thank you!  

Dear CommunityQuestion: Can someone explain the issue high-level or even low-level (technical)?Issue: I spent hours and several tries connecting my Playbar or Sub with my Google Pixel 8 Pro (Latest App SW, latest Android), granted any possible permission, reinstalled the App several times, emptied data and cache of the App. Switched my WiFi to dedicated 2.4Ghz. Hard reset the devices several times. Restarted the phone & App multiple times. Created a new Sonos account. Without any luck - faced several different error message like Error 1000 or the App seemed not to be up2date which it definitively was or the error message where Sonos is even recommending to use an Ethernet cable or even another device. Confusion/Surprise: Somewhere in the middle of all tries I could add my 2 Sonos One seamlessly without any efforts on the first try just like on iOS (even on my 5Ghz network). Expected: I installed the Sonos App on my iPhone 13 mini and it literally took me 1 minute to seamlessly conn

Hello Sonos Community i recently have a blown driver on my sonos playbar.i contacted sonos support but told me they dont repair anything, they gave me a 30% discount instead im in no position right now to be able to afford another soundbar from sonos, is there a way to disable that particular broken driver?so i could atleast continue using the playbar even tho it would just run 5 out of 6 drivers.thank you

I have era 300s as surrounds with an arc and a sub. Yesterday I noticed when listening to atmos music tracks that the 300s suddenly got way less pronounced on the same settings. I then tried an atmos movie and that too was less pronounced. Had to turn surrounds up considerably. Anyone else notice this?  

Hi, I have the Sonos Beam Gen 2 system and a Samsung QLED Q70T TV. When playing PS5 with Atmos, I experience 2-second audio cuts, which is quite annoying. I would like to know if there is any solution to this issue.

I have two Sonos One speaker and would like to connect them to my LG S90QY sound bar for surround sound. Is there any way to do this?

Hi,if I was to connect my passive speakers to an Amp as front speakers in a home theater setup, and then couple them with two Era 300 for the rear channels - would I get Dolby Atmos sound? Obviously, the passive speakers are not able to play Dolby Atmos, but the Era 300s are. Do they need a Arc/Beam gen2 for Atmos to work, or can the Amp work as well?

My box came in today, and wanted to know if there are any setup on the box itself needs to be done? I was playing around with it came across few options for eArc out, and etc. I have already re-configured my Apple TV, but wanted to know if there anything on the TV that needs to be changed. 

Hi,  Recently purchased a Sonos ray. Looking to connect it to my tv wirelessly as my tv is on the wall and I hate any visible cables. Is there anyway I can connect the optical wireless with a transmitter or anything? I have spent a Long time googling and cannot seem to come up with any answers. 

Hello all!I need some advice please.What do you think is the most convenient way to install the Era 300 for my situation? I have both Era 300 on a stand.I hesitate to place the Era 300 at #1 or #2. I like to listen to music during the day, especially when I'm at work. I work from the dining table. In the evening I like to watch a serie or movie.For listing to music #1 is possible since I turn the Era 300 towards the dining table while working and turn it back towards the couch in the evening. However, I don't think the sound in the room really sounds full and that music from position #2 sounds better.But does the Era 300 still provide sufficient surround support from position 2? Does it matter that the distance of the Era in the top corner is a lot shorter to the sofa then the other Era 300 when I place it at postion #2?The distance between #2 and the sofa is about 4 meters / 13 ftI am curious about your advice.Thanks!

I had a new router installed today and whilst my Roam, Beam (and 2 x One’s) have all connected automatically, my Playbase has not and I cannot get it to be recognised in the App to try and connect it.i’ve gone through the reconnection steps in the App (power off Playbase and Router and switch on again), I’m still unable to connect the Playbase? Please help! 

Hi, I am planning to buy a SONOS Arc and a LG G3. Would I be able to control the soundbar’s volume by the G3’s remote controller? Thanks ^^

Just bought a new Sonos beam gen 2 today, my first soundbar. Unfortunately Trying to connect via WiFi on the dreaded Vodafone router has been a pain as I've discovered others with the same problem.Would connecting via ethernet cable solve my problems?I have no intention of adding more speakers etc, the beam will be enough for me.
