I have the Sonos Arc connected to a Sony A90J TV. I used to see a screen saver when I switched to the HDMI3 Arc/eArc input the Arc is connected to but now I receive a no signal message. I restarted the TV, unplugged the HDMI cable on both ends but still no screen saver. Any ideas? The soundbar is still playing audio from the TV.

Hi @PG80

As far as we know, this was disabled for certain TVs for a while, mainly Samsung TVs. We’re not sure if it is still disabled on TVs but it seems so since you aren’t seeing it.

It shouldn’t effect your overall experience however, as the screensaver is just something that shows when you’re on the HDMI-eARC port.

In addition to the screen saver, numeric Volume level display on the TV can come and go. No manufacturer wants to own any issues with these features. Sometimes these features will return if all HDMI connections are removed from the TV and both the TV and ARC are rebooted and they renegotiate their connection parameters. After the negotiation is complete, reconnect any other HDMI cables to the TV.

Never had problems with the volume level display on the TV. I will try the disconnect everything and reconnect at some point.

Unplugged the Arc for a while and now it’s showing. Don’t know what the problem was.
