Hi,Any recommandations between the Sub & Sub mini to add to Beam and 2 era 100 ?Also where to place ? In front, side, back ?Thanks for the help

Hi everyone, so I still have an issue with my LG C2 in combination with my Sonos arc. The arc occasionally stops playing sound. Before it only happened after switching from HDMI source (with Dolby enabled ps5 or Xbox) back to an internal app like YouTube. Problem is solved by changing the sound source on the tv (hdmi to tv speaker to hdmi). But now I’m surprised that even when I watch a tv show on the internal app of the tv itself, it still happens occasionally. When I’m watching a tv show in stereo or 5.1, when the next episode is loaded after the one I was watching was finished , there is no sound. The same trick as before solves the issue. The HDMI inputs have never been turned on in this case. All my setting are correct. I use passthrough and eArc. I have read every topic here and Reddit but couldn’t find a solution. Sonos sends me to LG and LG tells me silly thing like turning of auto power sync etc. Doesn’t solve the issue. Anyone else having this problem? If not, I’m starting to

Hi, I just changed my Sonos Beam from a Samsung TV ( sorry forget the model ) where the Beam worked seamlessly in that I could use Alexa to adjust volume on the TV etc. I moved the Beam to another property on a TCL 55P638K that has eARC. When I connect in the HDMI cable to the eARC port on the TV and then into the Beam and try to do the setup in the app it is telling me it doesn’t see a connection to an eARC port. I did a full reset of the Beam a couple of times and have also tried a Firestick in the eARC port and it is at least showing the pic and TV sound. The cable is the same cable I was using at the other property so I suspect it is not a cable issue although I do need to validate that. That said I’m fairly certain that is not the issue as I literally moved from one location to the other. Any suggestions welcome before I purchase the optical cable to HDMI adaptor and try that method ?Thanks,Dave. 

I have read pretty much all the remedies on the forum on how to link the lg magic remote to the playbar via the optical output, but nothing works. I have been in touch with the SONOS help line and they have been through the procedure with me, but in the end admitted defeat and said I should speak to LG. I have tried resetting the remote for Philips, Bose and several other manufacturers. I have got to the point where I think I should get a new remote - or a new sound bar- but wondered if there were any suggestions as to what remote to buy. At the moment I have to control the sound through the Sonos app.

My Samsung Frame TV is suddenly no longer able to play audio through my Sonos AMP connected via HDMI ARC. How do I make a feature request? I love how great my surround setup sounds with Dolby Atmos, but it’s really disappointing not to have DTS decoding for discs with Master Audio, DTS:X, and DTS:HD.  I assume this is just a licensing cost decision but for the premium we pay for Sonos, I’d expect it to be supported (and did when I purchased).  Thanks

I have had my Sonos Arc for a few years now and it has been perfect.  Today when I turned on my Tv I wasn’t getting any audio at all.  I unplugged both the Arc connection and the power for a few minutes and tried again, still nothing.  To make sure it wasn’t the speaker I tried playing music through the Sonos app.  Works great, but still not working with the TV as the source. It’s an LGCX tv.

Hi all,I’ve just connected 2 x Era 100s to my Beam (Gen 1). (In the TV room)They work perfectly for music. When I watch a tv program, the Eras intermittently drop out. Not both at the same time though, so you get this annoying left ear, right ear thing that happens when watching a show. I experienced the same problem when I tried using my Move or Roam with the Beam. They both drop out while watching tv.I ended up putting a One in place of the Move and that solved the problem.I’ve been using a Five and a One with my Beam - and I haven’t heard a ‘drop out’ while watching TV. So I figured the power cord just made the difference. I decided that the portable speakers just don’t connect that well to the Beam for tv audio. (Never had a problem when listening to music though). So, with my new Era 100s - I didn’t think I’d have the ‘drop out’ problem as they are wired to a power source. Does anyone have advice on why the Eras would be dropping out on tv audio - but not for music?Thanks. My tv is older but has hdmi1 arc connection.  I’m only getting stereo pcm from any source I watch. Hulu firetv apple.  Just tried optical hdmi connector.  Still same.  I was sure it was a tv setting issue but idk.  Help!!

Hello,  I purchased Sonos speakers four months ago, and I've had this problem ever since. My Sonos Arc, Sub, and Era 300 surround speakers are connected to my wifi network, and I have a Samsung Q7 Series 4K UHD QLED LCD TV. My TV speakers are connected to receivers when I'm watching something, not to the Sonos speakers I made.I've made several attempts to connect to Living Speakers, but each time it disconnects immediately. In the interim, my HDMI is connected to my Apple TV.

I recently dove in with a Sonos Arc + Sub (Gen 3). Since getting setup, I’ve had nothing but problems and while it sounds incredible and the functionality is excellent, it’s been a bit discouraging.  The latest issue - and biggest source of frustration - is that the system consistently mutes itself on and off at random times. I know it’s muting because the sound drops out entirely, the green lights on the Arc + Sub come on, and then after anywhere from 10 seconds a full minute the audio comes back. I run all of my video content through an NVIDIA SHIELD TV Pro, and this is where it happens. It hasn’t seemed to do this when streaming directly via apps on the TV, but ultimately I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the Arc, the eARC in my LG B9 OLED, or simply the HDMI cable. I’ve disabled CEC on the SHIELD TV in hopes this would solve it, but it’s still happening. Is the next step to replace the HDMI cable from the SHIELD TV to the TV? Any other thoughts? Thanks for any help or suggestions

I have bought 2 sonos era 300 to sync with my sonos arc to be used as surround. I plan to put them on wall like in the photo. In the instruction it says there should be 20 cm from each side. On the right era 300, there is only 16 cm space from the wall picture. Will it effect the sound? 

I am enjoying my new setup with beam gen 2 , sub mini and 2 era 100’s as rears. It was a game changer for me after my 2.1 sony ht-mt500!  my living room isnt huge. It’s 4.37m x 3.48m. My tv is 55” but next year i am considering to get a lg 65” c4 (when the price drops significantly). I am happy with my setup but i kinda wonder if sonos arc would do a better job with a wider soundstage and more drivers? Is it worth it? It’s really hard to know unless i have both of them. Also i am quite aware a new arc2 or a better/higher version soundbar is on the horizon. I am not sure what to do. Anyone had a similar experience like me and had both or experienced both ? best

Would the addition of a Sonos amp to my current system provide an improvement in sound quality to justify the purchase?I currently have an Arc, gen 3 sub and 2 x Era 300s as surrounds, LG Oled 55” tv connected to Arc via Earc If my reply is positive is the installation relatively easy?i am aware that you can add further item’s and speakers etc but that doesn’t concern me at present except for maybe a turntable at a later date.Thank youMartin

I have a Sonos Playbase that is no longer connecting to Wifi. It only works when connected via Ethernet cable. I have tried via Sonos S2 and S1 apps but it just doesn't create that temporary network or adjusts to my new network (it was previously wired). I have heard some previous discussions about the wifi card failing, but not sure if it is my case or if I'm just doing something wrong. Any way to run a diagnostics? 

Will dolby atmos work with games and movies from pc->TV output?

My Samsung Frame (mod QE65LS03RAUXXC, Firmware v. T-MSMDEUC-1420.0) have recently startet to use internal speakers instead of my Sonos Arc. To get the sound through the Arc I have to go to "Input Signal Plus" on the Samsung TV and enable or disable (doesn't matter  which order) a couple of times, and then sound flows through the Arc as normal.. That is until next time I power on the TV. The Arc is connected to eArc HDMI 3 on the Samsung one connect.I’m running ver 16.1.1 78152020 on the Arc.Anyone else encountering this problem?

Hello, my Sonos Arc has stopped working. There is no central connecting light red/green/white and the microphone light is constantly on (white.) Unplugged, re-booted……nothing at all??Thanks

My Sonos Arc, which has been working perfectly in the middle of a show on Netflix had some audio drops, where it would mute for a bit then come back on. Finally tonight, audio dropped then an incredibly loud blaring noise played for a second. After that all functionality was lost and my TV defaulted to using its own speakers. I saw someone say that an update was sent out ~4 months ago that solved this issue. This clearly isn’t the case as this has been a reported issue for over 2 years now. Is there any way to fix this, and does Sonos plan to actually fix this issue?

Hi, I'm a total novice. I'm going to buy a Sonos Beam (Gen 2) and additionally a few Symfonisk speakers. I read on the Internet that they can be used as surround speakers and that's why I had a few questions: - Is it possible to make the symfonisk speakers play continuously, e.g. when I watch something without an atmos track (or also with atmos)? - Is there a limit for additional speakers and can I set their position relative to myself using some equalizer? - Will everything I play on TV be heard by the set I create? - Is it possible to use this set also as a sound source for a Windows PC?

Hi, My brand new Arc is driving me nuts because any time someone touches the TV console the power cord gets shaken loose and the speaker setup stops working!! Has anyone else had this issue? Can you please suggest how I can get the cord replaced as it must be covered under warranty?

Hi! I just added AMP (with ceiling speakers) to my ARC and SUB- )previously had a pair one SLs for Surround so know have to set it all up) but am not getting the AMP to work in the surround- it works along when I separate it and play music to it- but then when I pair it back- it says it succesfully is completed, but then nothing comes from the speakers- any help would be great!!

Just got my Beam Gen 2 and two Era 100 speakers home yesterday, and installed them on out TV.  Obviously, excited about the Plug-and-Pray process I was about to embark on, knowing full well it wouldn't work, but up for the challenge.After 3 hours of constant speaker resets, adding and removing speakers, etc. Etc. - still no surround sound, regardless of the sound source (Dolby atmosphere, etc.)  The speakers go through the process of creating the Surround group, and I get the confirmation in the app (and that great sound to confirm) then when you check the two Era 100 spealers in the System tab in the app, they show as not connected.  No sound, no connection - nothing.I'll close out that I'm not an audio wizard, but I have worked in the IT & AI industry for 30 years, and aside from the app being super not user friendly, I have gone down every rathole there is to resolve, and so far I have a Beam that works, and two expensive book-ends either side of my TV..…Any advice from you Sono

Hi everyone. Since the 16.1 update the volume on my system has dropped a lot. If  I had it on 45/50 now it is 60/65 & the sound is very flat, not happy at all, it was superb before. LG C2 tv, Sonos gen 2 beam, sub mini, 2 era 100. Any one else having similar problems?
