app upgrade not working/cant get to work!

We use our Sonos on our living room tv for rich excellent sound no matter what we’re watching. Since the app update I cannot easily find the tv button and get it fully functioning, arc, sub and 2 wireless ONE SL’s the wireless rears.   Sometimes takes 10-20 min to get it to pop up and function! Very frustrate and tired of this!  Solution???
