I’m running an LG C9 with a Panasonic UB820 Blu-ray player and a Sonos Arc setup with Sub Gen 3 and One SL surrounds. Despite the recent multichannel PCM update, I’m still getting only stereo PCM 2.0 from DTS encoded Blu-rays, not 5.1 PCM. My setup includes 48gbps HDMI cables, eARC is enabled, and all devices are up to date. The C9 is set to PCM with eARC enabled, and DTS output is set to PCM on the UB820. Additionally, my room is decorated with a balloon garland from HouseofParty.com, which might be affecting the setup. Has anyone managed to get 5.1 PCM output with a similar setup, or have any ideas or settings that could help resolve this issue?

Can I connect my google tv box to my Sonos system?

Hello all, just wondering if it’s a known issue or is there a work around to add a second sub to my Arc, gen3 sub and 300 surrounds?I originally had two subs connected to this system, two 3rd gen subs, but in order to get lossless with my pair of fives I had to unpair my 2nd gen sub to the fives and put the 3rd gen in place. When I finally did that ( btw the app wouldn’t let me unpair the one sub from the arc setup had to factory reset the sub) I can’t get the 2nd gen sub paired up. It took me a bit just to get it back into the system but just not assigned, but every time I try and assign it to my arc setup it gives me the prompt “could not pair”, something about wifi or whether it’s still connected to power. Which obviously it is since it’s still in my list of speakers just showing not assigned. so long winded question, has anyone else had this problem and did you figure a work around that wasn’t using the 16.1 app. I’ve tried factory resetting my 2nd gen, restarting my phone, signing

Hello my lovely community.I want to close the topic for compability of Atmos codecs, specifically for TrueHD, as there are still a lot of questions going on about it.As owner of Sonos system (arc, 2x sub, 2x era 300) and pairing it with LG C3, Vero 4k+, AppleTV 4K and PS5. However LG C3 can’t passthrough TrueHD and I can’t watch my legal BR rips using Vero4k+ and Apple TV 4K. So here are the options what might be done:While using TrueHD content, accept downmix from 7.1 to 5.1 by Sonos (Multichannel PCM).                                                                                                                                 Pros: getting atmos effects, the cheapest option.                                                             Cons: lower bitrate for atmos. Look for an alternative streaming services for an atmos content such as Netflix or smiliar. I’ve had the Arc for over a year and not had this problem until this week. I play a particular track on Apple Music, through an Apple TV, on my Arc and I get a distortion when the music and singer hit a certain volume. It’s an album I’ve “added” to Apple Music (I have the iTunes Match service) but it encoded correctly. I’ve played this same track on my Sonos One in the kitchen - no distortion. Tried a couple of tracks from other albums I’ve recently added - same issue. Music directly from Apple Music seem okay. Any ideas ?

Just got the Arc and have it paired with 2 Play:1’s and a gen 3 sub. Samsung Q80R tv.  The sound from the tv will play for around 5 seconds and then cut out for around 1 second, play for 5, out for 1, on and on.  I’ve swapped out the hdmi cable twice, tried unplugging the tv, switched between PCM and DD+ and switched between different apps on the tv. The sonos app shows that I am getting an atmos signal  Was running a beam with the Play:1’s (but no sub) before just fine. Not sure what I should try next. Thank you,mike

Sonos, please add more EQ options to the Sonos app.For example separate rear height volume slider for Era 300’s and center volume slider for soundbars would be absolute game changers. More customization is never a bad thing!

I would like to ask what will happen if I add a Sonos Sub Mini to my surround system ( Beam Gen 2 and two Sonos Era 100 speakers ) as far as I know the low frequencies go to the sub. If I use Trueplay to set up all the speakers and then decide to turn off only the sub using the toggle button from the app, what will happen?Does the system only remember the current Trueplay setting ( Beam Gen 2 /  2 x Era 100 / Sub Mini ) or when turning the sub-Mini off via the toggle button from the app the system will revert to “old” trueplay settings ( Beam Gen 2 /  2 x Era 100 ) and restore low frequencies to them.

I have three sets of ceiling speakers and each set have their own Sonos Amp.The first amp has the HDMI Arc coming from the TV and is connected to the front speakers near the TV.The second amp is connected to the rear speakers. I want these speakers to carry the surround sound.The third amp is connected to the outdoor speakers. Occasionally I want to use them to carry the same TV signal as the first amp. This would allow watching 2 TVs but the sound would be in synch with the living room TV.How do I configure this with the app?

I am building a patio that will house 2 TV’s (most likely Samsung),  and the wall are open so I can still run all the cables I need to make the system work.  How do I set up/connect 2 tv's to one sound bar (sonos arc), one sub, and additional speakers?  

I have a Beam S2 hooked via HDMI to my C3 LG OLED TV via the eArc port on the LG TV.  I have a DirecTV Genie mini hooked via HDMI to port 1 on the LG and Apple TV hooked via HDMI to port 4 on the TV.  Months ago, I programmed the DirecTV remote to work with the Beam and the LG TV.  All worked as desired with the DirecTV remote controlling the volume of the Beam directly (meaning, not changing the TV’s volume per se).  This allowed me to change channels on the DirecTV Genie as well as control volume as well as turning the TV off & on.  Suddenly two days ago, when trying to raise the volume via the DirecTV remote, the Beam would raise it the volume to the maximum after a delay.  Trying to lower the volume using the DirecTV remote would, after a delay, slide the volume all the way off (not muted, just set all the way down).  I have tried reprogramming the remote, resetting the Beam, the TV and the Genie, trying a new DirecTV remote I happened to have, checked firmware and all that via

It seems that I can add a second sub, but I would like to know if it is possible to go further, for example by adding 2 Era 300 in the front or 2 Sonos Five. However, I can't find this information anywhere. What is the limit on the number of speakers for a home cinema?Sorry for my English, it's not my native language :)

Hey.Went on a holiday trip for 14days, came back today and now my beam wont start up.i always unplug my devices when going on a longer trip. I plugged in the power and nothing happend, after a hour or like the beam ia getting warmer (bottom). It seams to me its damage. anyone with ideas?  

Hi folks, I looked on the website of a Sonos dealer in Porto, in Portugal & was shocked that delivery would not take place of a Beam Gen 2 soundbar for 6-9 months! Why is this please? I also checked Amazon.es & .de & they also say delays of months…..1-2 months for .de MTIA

My beam gen 2 stopped working, just shows the white LED blinking, no matter if I unplug and plug again. Buttons don’t react either. I cannot see it in my Sonos app, nor via airplay. It’s just 1,5 years old

good morning, Good morning, I have a Samsung neo QLED TV, with a Sonos Beam connected through the E arc port, however frequently when I turn the TV on the TV has reverted to TV speaker and it is not possible to play any sound through the Sonos beam despite going on the device connection which shows the Sonos background.  the only way to reconnect is to completely disconnect everything and reconnect, which is extremely frustrating as the beam is on the wall with all the cables hidden in the wall, which means taking the TV off when it happens.  any ideas? 

When connecting Era100 to TV. I only get the background music and NOT the voice. .. Why and How to fix it?

My Sonos app on iPhone 14 constantly does not recognize my bean gen 2 . I constantly have to reset the beam by going through the set up process. This happens constantly. How can this be resolved. Thanks in advance.
