I have our built in Sonos speakers and Sonos arc as a pair on our LG tv and paired in the Sonos app. However, when I adjust the volume with the remote, it only adjusts one of the components (not only one or the other, it fluctuates which one it controls based on which one I maybe last touched in the pair). Mind you they are paired together. How can I fix this?

If they’re grouped, rather than bonded as surround, you can’t. If they’re set up as surrounds, they’d automatically be controlled by the volume of your ‘front’ speakers.

Okay. If we have in ceiling speakers that say Sonos amp and we just added an arc bar, is it easiest to add the arc bar to the amp component by doing “surround” under the wires component?

The Arc should be hooked to the TV's eARC and then the Amp added to it as surrounds.
