I just bought the Ultimate Immersive Set with the Arc Ultra, pair of Era 300s and the Sub 4. When I toggle the sub on/off through the app, the bass actually sounds better and fuller with it off. I’ve confirmed the sub is actually turning on/off when I toggle from the app. I've seen some review videos where they talk about not really needing the sub with the Arc Ultra and others saying two subs make a nice improvement, but does Sonos really expect me to pay another $800 for a 2nd sub? It doesn't make any sense to me. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Physics is probably working against you. Try different locations for the SUB. I have SUB’s with my ARC ULTRA and I appreciate the difference.

I’m going to give that a try tonight. I put it in the same location as my old Bose Acoustimass sub, which would shake the house (with it’s three tiny 5” woofers lol), but I’ll try moving into a corner tonight.

Also try switching the phase on the Sub.  This can help switch the nulls in the room from overlapping waves.
